The Cab of Truck was dirty and full of junk in the Cab. Many dings and dents all around truck. Took 15 minutes to look at all the dings and X spots to be sure we were not held responsible.

Light switch (headlights) did go off while driving. We think the driver propably hit the switch, but it was easily off and we got pulled over. (not ticket, thankfully, tho!)

The person (hispanic ethnicity) who checked me in at around 1230 at this location was awesome. He was very professional the entire time. I have had bad experiences with customer service at this location but he made me want to come back.

They didn’t include the utility dolly, which was on our order. When we arrived at our destination to start loading a refrigerator, is when we found the dolly was not included. This made moving a refrigerator very difficult. The manager didn’t compensate, except removing it from our bill. When we dropped off the truck, our rate changed from $19.95 to $29.95. Be very cautious using this location. The manager must be getting a huge bonus. I will never use this location again. I’ll spend the extra money in mileage and use the one off Pearblossom and Sierra Hwy.

Hello, My name is Ron Werle and I rented a auto transport trailer on 10 Nov for one day from your 42925 Sierra Hwy, Lancaster, CA location. I scheduled a 4 pm pick up, contract #96526023. I arrived for the pick up and noted the following: at least 4 Uhaul employees behind the counter and 2 working the line of customers there inside to pick up equipment. It took almost 20 minutes to get checked in. After the documentation was completed I was directed to pull my truck behind the building to get the trailer. Another 15 minutes with multiple people waiting and no Uhaul attendant there to help. I went back inside and asked to see a manager. The desk attendant called the manager Jose Morena on the radio and told him a customer wanted to see him, he asked "why." It was so difficult to get him to attend to my delay with questions by him to the attendant that I told the desk attendant I wanted help now and that I waited long enough. I was hitched up and during the walk around noted the hinge bolt for the left wheel fender missing. I was directed to pull around front and it took another 20 minutes to fix the unsafe trailer. During that time I once again asked to see Jose Moreno to tell him how displeased I was with his rental location. He offered me a $7 dollar discount which was unsatisfactory for the hour long delay there. I asked him about ignoring my initial request to talk with him earlier and he said he was on break eating his sandwich which itself was an insult considering his job is customer service and resolving issues under his control which he didnt seem to have an interest in. The desk attendant, Luis Garcia and James Main who eventually hooked me up were very courteous and apologized to me, your manager Jose Moreno refused to make this right and literally turned his back on me and walked away. I see multiple issues; -Inefficency managing the staff with everyone behind the counter and not where needed. -The lack of willingness and rudeness of the manager, Mr Moreno to prioritze his sandwich over his customers and not make a real effort to fix this all. I manage 25 people and always prioritze my customers and employees over a sandwich. Overall the employees working there were helpful, they seemed to have little to no direction from their leadership to ensure that the checkout process was efficient. At the time this transpired there was one truck at the check in line with others still inside not attending to those outside. I know that Uhauls reputation and servce with previous rentals I have had are not represented by Jose Morenos dis-service representing your corporation. I do hope from that level that Uhaul considers this event and makes this right by me. Please feel free to contact me at 520 437-1090 with any additional questions or comments. The trailer I rented wasn’t even tall enough for a regular sized frig. Their largest box trailer cost me over $1,000.00 and had to leave behind my frig.

MY CONCERN IS THAT I BROUGHT BACK THE RENTAL TRUCK ON SATURDAY MORNING AND THE LOCATION WAS EXTREMLY BUSY SO THE YARD ASSOCIATE SAID TO JUST PARK THE TRUCK IN THE PARKING SPOT AND THEY WOULD CHECK IT IN. THE TRUCK NEVER WAS CHECKING IN I RECEIVED A CALL THE NEXT AFTERNOON ASKING ME WHEN I AM GOING THE BRING THE TRUCK BACK. I TOLD THEM THAT I ALREADY DID YESTERDAY MORNING AND I WAS CHARGED FOR ANOTHER DAY BECAUSE THE TRUCK WASNT CHECKED IN INTIME. NEXT TIME I WILL WAIT AND HAVE THEM CHECK IT IN WHILE IM STILL THERE OR USE A DIFFERENT SOURCE FOR MY MOVE.
