The trailer that they hooked up to my truck was not the trailer on the contract so it was hell returning the trailer to the return location in Florida it took more than an hour to resolve the issue.

Van was supposedly ready for self-pickup (no waiting in the long line). This was not the case and I don't believe that is even an option at this location. Waited in line, paperwork, etc. was needed. Also, paperwork showed to fill the van up completely with gas before returning. When I got in the van, it was only on half a tank. Unfortunately I did not take a picture of this before leaving...I was in a hurry after having to wait in the unexpected line. Van had notification on from the moment I turned it on that an oil change was required.

Improve contact about payments owed to uhaul if they dont go through a clear text or email should be sent not generic automated messages that tell you no real info and try by all means to let customers know before putting a report in saying it's been stolen maybe use the trackers in the vehicles and go to gps location survey the area make judgement on if to approach or not if not then let the police handle it this is just an idea for the recovery department because those of us who are honest with no criminal history or charges at all are not looking to obtain one and 90%+ of the time are always cooperative to the fullest as was I buy all and all I love renting from uhaul I have my whole life nothing but good experiences and great people I would recommend y'all to anyone moving and thing big or small my wife and I are very sorry for the information issue with the truck and we will be arranging to get our remaining balance taken care of. Thank you to all of U-Haul for your patience and understanding I look forward to many many more years of business

These folks are the best and always work with us. We rent about 6-8 times each year for band concerts and you cannot beat the service from everyone at this location. Friendly, knowledgeable, and responsive...you can't beat that. Ways to improve would be to have all of the other locations in our area train at this location!

Made reservation for 2 auto transporters. Governors Dr. location cancelled one on their own and then called to confirm that they had 2 ready. And stated they hadn’t cancelled anything. This location called back a second time and asked if this was a duplicate reservation, confirmed that they had two again. I called northern Al dispatcher to fix, she did and confirmed that this location had made a third reservation and attempted to cancel one of the first reservations unsuccessfully. She resolved and confirmed I had 2 auto transporters on reservation for pickup. At closing time of the Saturday before the next morning pickup this location for a 3rd time called me to confirm this reservation asking if this was a duplicate. I confirmed and then asked in an elevated and very clear voice - Do you have 2 auto transporters for a 0900 pick-up (less than 24 hours away)? It was answered yes we do and everything is in order. I arrived at 0845 the next morning, and no they didn't have 2 auto transporters. Only 1. And in fact they never had 2, A reservation made about 7 days in advance, confirmed by this location on 3 separate calls and confirmed by the dispatcher for the region proved to be all lies as there were never 2 transporters at this location, ever. I was redirected to another U-Haul in town which had one just delivered (still unhooking when I arrived) meaning that I was extremely lucky given this was a 0900 Sunday morning pick up with many of your locations closed for the day. This caused about a 2 hour delay in my travel. The main issue is in this locations ability to deal with reservations and checking equipment and handling customers. All very poor. The entire staff needs retraining, since I had talked to most of them during this process. Power of the dispatcher – She fixed everything and then the rental location came back in and changed it again. Seems to me that the U-Haul dispatcher should be able to have final say in the U-Haul equipment. Part of the issue is in the online reservation process: Can’t make a reservation for two of the same pieces of equipment at once, causes you to make a second reservation, which then causes the location to believe it’s a duplicate and then cancel it. Cant reserve the equipment for more than 5 days - causes you to redue the reservation upon receipt of the equipment. I needed it for 7. Auto Transporter windows - You don’t have all of the possible makes and models of equipment that could be transported, thus you are forced into a "fill out the blank" if you wish to proceed, then this has to be addressed when you arrive. The fix I recommend is to have this list but add a measurements and weight of the devise being transported should your vehicle not be listed. The process doesn’t allow for a U-Haul vehicle (in this case a pick-up truck) to picked up from one location and then driven to the next pick up location to pick up the auto transporter. The pickup we rented was filthy. Apparently, the people before us moved either dirt or mulch in it. It wss still caked all in the bed. I'll be having to clean my furniture. There was also beer left in the cab of the truck.

Unlike the pick up location, this drop off location was great. It was great because this location is strictly U-Haul and not just a gas station that has a couple trucks. Their business is U-Haul and nothing else. The process is more difficult when it's some third party agent.

Do not use Uhaul on Governors Drive in Huntsville. I was charged $72 for furniture pads due to an employee error. Owner (Jerry) would not refund my card. Was told to take up with 1800 gouhaul. Contacted number and was told to take up with store manager and it was their issue. Given the run around and given misinformation. Complaint pending and under review. Poor customer service. Will not use in the future.

Young man who checked in our trailer was very pleasant. He was obviously overwhelmed with more vehicles and trailers to check in than was planned. Slightly understaffed for a Saturday afternoon, but the wait was not unpleasant. Thank you UHaul. You have a good company.

Orientation of equipment was flawed. Trucks blocked access to trailers and had to make several turns in tow to exit. Staff was excellent. Allowed on spot mod to order when we realised size of trailer insufficient. Redid contract and had us ready quickly.

UHAUL mileage rate $0.79/mile is too high. We paid it for this short 2 hour lease but it is unacceptable for most moves. We were very comfortable driving the E350 truck because it is similar to our Class C motor home.
