I was disappointed when I paid for the truck rental I was charged a weekly rate for the second week. If I had been aware of this I could have kept the truck for 2 more days instead of the daily rate.

Got there on a Sunday at 8:35 am early for my 9 am reservation. I needed to use the restroom and I saw that the door was ajar to the Uhaul office. I see a gal at the counter thru the window so I walk in to ask to use the restroom. I approach her to ask but begin by greeting her with a cheerful "Good Morning". She snapped back with "We're closed! The door's supposed to be locked! Not a hint of smile or friendliness at all. I tell her I just wanted to ask to use the restroom. She replies "Last door on the left" in a very irritated tone. When I come out my wife asks where the restroom so I tell her, and as my wife walks in the same gal yells out out very rudely "We're closed!" My first impression of this location was not even worthy of one star. We left, and returned 20 minutes later. I was not looking forward to interacting with Ms. Rude. Fortunately there was another gal. She seemed much more friendly and warm as a watched her help the customer in front of me. She went out with her customer to look over his vehicle. When she returned several minutes later she very sincerely apologized for keeping me waiting even though the wait was not that long. She was very knowledgeable explaining everything I needed to know and very patiently answering all my many additional questions in detail, and offering helpful suggestions when asked. She was warm, friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. She turned around negative one star experience into a positive 5 star experience. Her name I think is Jamie Fuentes, and she deserves a star if not a hefty raise. Please give Jamie the praise (and raise) she deserves.

I was charged with insurance even though I told them 2 times I do not want it.

The truck was old with 122,000 miles, The steering was loose and wandered going down the highway. When I picked up the truck they said it had a 1/4 tank of fuel. When I got in the truck, it was slightly below the 1/4 mark but I assumed it was close enough. I brought it back with the exact same amount of fuel and they tried to charge me $16.50 for fuel. I ordered 1 dozen pads but noticed when I got home that they charged me for 18. They also tried to charge me for a dolly which I did not order. The seal was missing but I never looked to see if it was there when I started. We did not use it or even ask for it. If you charge by the condition of the seal, it should be check point to acknowledge on the contract before I leave. Advertising a truck for $49 and getting charged $182 sounds dishonest. Your mileage charge is way too high.

The service was good, but not enough counter person, it took almost 45 min because only one counter person at counter, finally the manager stepped in and helped, dropping of was anot her experience, no place to drop of equipment, so trucks got moved to make room

I had originally secured a rental from the location in Kakaako. The employee scheduled to open the store and be present for my pick up was reported to be "caught in traffic." I would recommend that the company abides by the scheduled store hours and the reservations that are made.

Hi, I thought the vehicle was fine, but I noteiced a bug in it. Later more appeared (I was told they were cockroaches). We could cope with this, but when we got a cleanign charge for what I can only assume was gettign rid of the bugs, as we didn't leave the van dirty otherwise, I was disappointed. I contacted the depot by email ansd was told to turn in an objection on line at the link included, whcih I can only assume to be this link. Can you please explain and/or reverse the cleaning charge.

I made my reservations on-line and confirmed on-line and by phone and still had to stand in line upon arrival. Then, I was told that no trucks were available because they were overbooked by the corporate booking system! Ouch! This is the 3rd time I have had problems renting from u-haul. I will never go there again.
