I reserved over the phone with a mainland call center employee who told be the rates for 15' and 17' were the same ($39 / day). When I arrived at the location, the 17' truck was $49. I waited much more than 30 minutes to rent my vehicle even though I checked in online. When I did rent, I declined the insurance, got my invoice estimate, walked the vehicle with the employee to mark up any damages and gas reading, and was on my way. I returned the truck the following day. Again, I needed to wait (about 20 minutes) just to talk with an employee. When I finally got to speak with an employee, it took another 10 minutes to check the vehicle. During this time, I saw the employee straightening equipment outside and doing thing other than tending to my checkin. I had someone waiting for me and was in a rush, and the unnecessary lack of urgency was irritating at the very least. While there I reviewed my invoice and there was a $29 Sure Safe charge. I asked another employee about the charge and they said it was the insurance cost... which I specifically declined. When the original employee returned, I asked him about the charge because he was the one who checked me in the day prior. I reminded him that just yesterday we discussed it, and I declined the insurance. He asked if we walked the vehicle, and I said YES, with him. He then looked at my tickets and said, "you have the yellow ticket, which means you did decline the charge. I'll get my manager to fix it." I told him that I had someone waiting and asked if he could reverse the charge and send me a revised invoice via email (which I confirmed they had). He said yes, no problem, he'd take care of it. A few days later, I still had no email confirmation and I checked my bank statement to see the sure safe fee was still charged. It's as if he just decided not to do it after I left. I called the number and got mainland again. They explained the U-haul policy is to submit a trouble ticket, and the manager of the store will call me in 3 business days. Two business days later, I get an email with a copy of my invoice and a note to call with any questions. I called the number provided, and it routes me right back to the mainland call center. They would not let me talk with the manager on the spot. Terrible customer service and no regard for their customers' time.

The computer system is problematic. This is the second time in a week that I have rented a trailer, and I experienced problems both times. The first time, the customer rep inputted all of my information to update my account. However, when we went to pay, the system crashed and all of the data was lost. She recreated the data as quickly as possible, but it still took another 10-15 minutes. The second time, none of the updated information that was put into the system on my first visit was retained. We had to regenerate all of that data again. Additionally, the system crash experienced at payment occurred on the second visit as well. You have a software problem. Otherwise, the UHaul office is fantastic. I would certainly recommend Rodney and his team to help with any of my friends' or family's storage and moving needs.

I am very dissatisfied with how my experience concluded yesterday. When I picked up my rental yesterday I was helped by a very nice lady who guided me through the process as it was my first time renting a large truck from Uhaul. She asked me what time I would be returning the truck and I told her I wasn't sure. I estimated 8pm. When I said this she seemed unconcerned that the time was after your closing hours and told me that if I had the truck back by 5pm we could "close out my account." I told her that I was fairly flexible and that I would see what we could do. At this point she said that I could return the truck after hours using the drop box. She made no mention of extra charges that would be billed to my account, and did not point out any clauses that may have applied on the the contract. In fact, I remember clearly that she told me any discrepancies on my quote may be due to mileage issues. Again, no mention of penalties after hours. She then led me outside and told me to check the gas mileage and gas level while she did an inspection of damages. At the end of her inspection she pointed out damage that had already been done to the truck and apologized because there was, in fact, a hole in the cargo area that exposed items inside to the elements outside. She apologized and asked me if it was okay for me to use this truck as there were no more 20' moving trucks available. My moving day was already scheduled and I had a crew of men lined up to help me. I could have made a big deal about this, but I chose not to; I told her that that I would accept that truck and wished her a nice afternoon. At this point my understanding was that since I would be returning the truck after hours it wasn't important if it was 5pm, 6pm, 8pm or 9:45 pm (which was the time when I finally finished uploading pictures and cleaning the truck in your parking lot), since, clearly the truck could not be rented before the store opened. Imagine my surprise when I uploaded my final return online and the charges doubled from my quote $105.39 to $213.34. I see I have been charged for an extra day for the extra 1 hour that I kept the truck off the lot (45min figuring out the online return). That does not sit well with me and certainly does not reflect the aloha I received from your kind employees (who thanked me for being relaxed about the problems on the Uhaul side of things with the damaged truck). No complaints except that I setup a corporate account this past week and gave the person a card number. I had another person pick up the Uhaul but they said no card was on file. Sadly the person that picked up the Uhaul had to use their own card to pay for the Uhaul. The staff here is great!

Only issue I had was the drivers side seatbelt on the truck wasn't working properly came off when I was driving a d I couldn't get it off with out messing it for a bit but when pointed it out to the guy returned he was nice and said they'd get repaired asap which hope they did. But great service whole time

Make finding online and location easier, uhaul representative through customer service (phone) couldn’t locate the address when I called, not sure if it was user error or website lacking info That’s nothing to do with the location which is always amazing and seems to have happy employees!

This location emailed me a charge for @$100 worth of mileage mid-contract, claiming I had returned a Van I still had in my possession. It took be 8 hours and 5 phone calls before anyone admitted that the Van returned that day was not the Van I rented and to refund me the @$100 charged to my company credit card. When I did turn in the Van the Team Member helping me stated that I was being charged the full bill of over @$600, I said to him that the initial charges for the rental had already been paid for by my company, and pointed on his phone where it clearly stated that amount due now was only $10 (most likely for the miles tallied at return). He proceeded to condescendingly argue with me while we walked inside to retrieve my receipt. I showed him my expense report showing that the initial contract had been paid, he rolled his eyes at me at stated well that was just a hold. He then walked away and said he was calling his manager.

We had a 9:00am pick up time but waited for over 30 minutes in a long line as there was only one customer service rep. I pre-registered online and went in one day early to pick up mattress covers to prepare for our move and told the cashier that I registered online and chose the option to skip the line and he said it takes just as long for self-check in because you have to take a photo of yourself and some other steps...so we changed our express check-in to waiting in line. All reps and employees were very friendly but the wait was too long.
