Pick-up was fine, as I picked up the van the evening before due to Uhaul expected the next morning to be very busy. However, drop-off was chaotic, as the lot was full and employees were scrambling to check out returning rentals.

Personnel was excellent and the service was very professional. But the physical location is probably the worst I have ever experienced. There is no parking and you are not allowed to leave your vehicle on the lot.

I could not reach the location via phone. I was placed on hold for 30 mins and gave up. I also could not reach the main support line to get my question answered. When I did get through, the answer was unclear and I was told to call the specific branch where I rented the vehicle, please see above, could not reach the branch. My question was about pricing of using the vehicle for another day.
Aloha, I wanted to let you know about the negative experience that I had with my rental yesterday. In short, despite having selected the mobile check-in option, the process took me 45 minutes from when I arrived and tail when I was able to drive off in the lot. Between completely in accurate information on the condition of the van, to the first van battery being dead, to my additional rental tools not being provided in the original van, I was very put off by my experience. I had to ask for help from staff numerous times because no one would come to the van to see why it wouldn't start. I was under time constraints but because of the amount of time I spent waiting for a working vehicle and supplies which were previously ordered, I needed to drive the van more miles than I otherwise would have needed. Michael called me today to inquire about my experience. I appreciated his professionalism but discovered that the pricing was caused by number of miles driven. That said, I would not have needed to drive as many miles as I did if I was able to leave the facility in a timely manner which would have been possible had the facility/process been more organized. The lady who checked me in was awesome. I believe her name was Erlinda. She got me in and out of there quickly and efficiently. She made my overall experience a great one. The only thing I would suggest is to have the trucks topped off with fuel. That way it'll be easier to just fill it all the way up before returning it. It was a little hard to judge the amount is fuel I had to put back in since it was given to me with under a half tank. Other than that, thank you for making my move a lot easier. Aloha

Frustrating experience, not necessarily with the location, but with the company's procedures overall. I called a local number to reserve a truck but was forwarded to a national call center. Call center rep said I had a reservation for a specific location closer to me, only to find out on pickup that it was setup for the location by the airport. Went to the airport location, only to be informed by staff that the confirmation number wasn't enough, and that I had to redo the check in process to receive a specific truck number from the national office. Was quoted mileage fees of $0.99/ mile over the phone, but then told $1.19/mile at the store. Local staff was otherwise mostly helpful, and seemed to be doing their best to alleviate the issues for the visibly frustrated customers in line in front of me, all of which were having similar check in problems. Online check in process seems fundamentally broken. Don't remember having any issues like this with renting trucks in the past.
When returning the vehicle, the attendant did not acknowledge my return instead was in â€œCovid 19, etc. conversation with another customer. I went inside the store to let the employee know. Better return process needed.
The online checkin and truck rental wasn't user friendly. They need to update the online features so that customers don't have to wait in line to rent a truck.
