The location wasn’t the problem I-haul itself was Very disorganized, had to stay on phone with them for over an hour. Put gas back at what it was at pick up and still got charged 25 bucks!!

The experience was less than stellar in dropping off equipment. The inspection team was very helpful, fast, and knowledgeable. However, the service inside was lacking. They seemed to be understaffed as there was only one representative working as the line grew. Also, the outdoor staff informed me of extra charges. When i went in to get a receipt, the staff inside said there were no charges only for me to receive an email later on for the additional fees. There was just a disconnect that should be addressed.

Tanya was very helpful during checkout and Breanna was speedy and through at drop off. Those two are some of the best employees I have seen at uhaul.

Check in said wait at return location for attendant. Nobody came, and after 10 min went in office. Lady finished with a customer and came out to check in van. after it was all checked, she told me to go inside and she would assist with checking on the payment made there, because her phone would not do that. instead of going in behind me, she disappeared leaving me waiting while the other lady/manager was handling another customer. When I realized I had been left waiting while the first person decided to pump propane instead of coming in, I complained she said she was coming in to help me and was pumping gas instead. The manager instead of calling her to come in and help, stating she did not complete checking me in, took her time on purpose just because she knew I was in a hurry and unhappy about the entire event. Finally, she pulled up and checked me out after my waiting another 20 min. Missed an flight at airport that I had plenty of time to catch had they did their jobs properly. rented van for 1-week business use, and do not think I will do it again. Hello Budget>>>>

My service rep at the Gillespie St. location was excellent. I do not remember his exact name (Mr. Pettigrew?) He was very knowledgeable about trailers and went out of his way to help me with my trailer hitch that needed tightening up.

It took me awhile to figure out there was no cruise control for the 10’ truck or at least I never figured it out. It would have been helpful for someone to just clarify that issue.

Need to have several more people at the counter. Several. Please, I had to wait 40 minutes to pick up a trailer. But, once I did get to the counter Tammy was super nice, extremely knowledgeable, confident and very fast!! (It's the customers that slow every thing way down) Tanya was lovely and quick as well upon my return but again the people with the truck return in front of me slowed everything down, real bad. Maybe some cross-training????

Let them know if the Oil light with the wrench is on that there is no problem. Be sure equipment ordered is in the truck

I rented a car dolly. Suggestion. Turn the eye C rings that secure the strap over the front tires DOWN. They rubbed my Volvo bumper under side. Turning them down gives more clearance and in no way lessens the purpose of the nylon tire straps. Remove the two bolts holding each, turn C down, put screw and bolt back on. NO damage ever to car from the C rings. Thank you.

I was at your location for 2 hours and there was a lady (assistant manager I think) was on the phone with a customer that didn't seem to be very happy with the service. This lady was talking loud and was in my opinion very unprofessional, she should have taken the call some place that all of the customers rhat was waiting didn't hear this conversation and held up for so long. Although she was not the person helping me she set a bad perception of the company. The lady rhat was helping me was so professional and she apologized for taking so long, when she originally gave me the price everything was good nut when she went in to put the drop off location it would not work, so she asked that unprofessional lady if she would assist her? When she did the price tripled, she tried to figure out what was going on but it wouldn't work and then the system start having issues. 2 hours later it cost be over $300 for the trailer. I am VERY upset with all of this, I feel I should drive some type of compensation for all I had to go through and taking 2 hours to rent a darn trailer! I would like a response to this message ASAP!

The young lady named Tanya was very rude and her customer service was horrible. I hade reserved a 26’ truck to pick up at the Bragg Blvd location. It was not available at this location and I was redirected to the Gillespie location . I asked if she could compensate me with extra mileage since I had to drive further to get the truck and she told me that “we don’t do that “ . That’s when I proceeded to call transportation back and asked if it was something that could be done and he said of course . He would add 15 miles to my contract. Tanya called her manager Tanessa who changed what transportation said and told Tanya that she would give me 10 extra miles. At this time Tanya handed me the truck key and took me to go find the truck and pull it up front. I have never had to go find my own equipment before. After checking out and looking how much gas was in the truck I informed Tanya that the printout was not correct and it was an 1/8th of a tank instead 1/4th that is noted. She stated that “U-Haul tells them to tell the customer that and she was not going to argue with us about the gas. I graduated high school.” My husband returned to the lobby to talk to another employee and showed her the picture of the gas gauge and she adjusted the printout. I want to say that I rent equipment from U-Haul at least once or twice a month and this is the first time I’ve been to this location and I had a not so great experience.

Eliminate the ridiculous mobile phone procedures that are expected to be done upon turning in equipment. What if someone isn't smartphone handy or possibly doesnt have a cell phone? It's crazy having to type in responses and then have to take pictures of multiple things. Isn't that what staff is supposed to do? You guys are trying to make it so customers have to do majority of the work for you. Also, there was literally a U Haul location 2 miles from my destination. Because I was doing an IN TOWN RENTAL, I couldn't return truck to that location, but rather the same location I picked it up from. I know that's just a money tactic to get that extra mileage in. After all the excessive dropoff procedures that now has to be done, I highly doubt I'll be using U Haul again. Not to mention it seems like the mileage rates are much higher than I remember. And the inability to drop off at different locations in town.
