Nothing but problems with my reservation and communication with the customer service women there... More intent to speak to my son instead of me about the issues... Needed to pull a travel trailer behind - upon calling in, stated they had a 2 5/16" ball to put on - they never stated 2" balls were welded on - offset location for other @4", and had to pay @$70 onsite for that! Then no pin to go with hitch, another $4! They lost the keys to the 15ft truck, which ended up being in the woman's jacket pocket! Very disappointed with these women - i have used this location before and no problems EVER - this was a bad taste in my mouth, hopefully never use them again... Was a rip in the drivers seat and the tank was only 1/3 full... dirty inside van body...
Truck was very clean and easy to handle. Price was excellent and will use again. The gentleman that checked us in was very nice and informative. Do always check the gas as ours was not completely full but they did reimburse when we filled back up to over full.
I am QUITE frustrated that the UHaul location IN INDIANOLA--where I WANTED to return the trailer does not accept drop offs! HOW is that serving the customer??? How do you allow your franchise named to be used, yet they don't accommodate your customer? Why is it MY problem if they have an over abundance of trailers and/or truck rentals? (I don't even know if that is why they wouldn't accept drop offs. I HAD to go another 20+ miles and the extra time to return what should have been a 5 minute trip.
The maintenance guy working there was new but nice and helpful especially when informing that there is no refund for dropping off a few days early.
Not charge people extra mileage when the storage area they rented had a lock on it
Teach the steps of knowing how to drive a U-haul.
I would take photo of Gas and Mileage. Also ensure you are on Level Ground. And I wish to Thank Dawn at Customer Service for correcting the issue with gas charge. PEACE
I had reserved a 10' truck, but when I arrived they didn't have one. So the rep gave me a 15' at the price of a 10'. I thought that was generous.
The staff were not friendly nor attentive. The store required face masks upon entering yet the two employees working were not wearing face masks. My account was also overcharged and I am still awaiting a response from the store.
I have rented two U-haul trucks in the last 6 months. Both times I requested a regular two-wheel dolly during my online reservation process. Both times when I went to pick up the truck I was told that there were no available dollys. This makes moving boxes and furniture much more difficult. U-haul obviously needs to have more dollys on hand at every pick-up location. This is a vital piece of equipment that needs to be available with every truck.
Originally had a reservation to pick up auto transport from 101 63rd west dsm. Got there was told no equipment available and was made to come back to current location at 630 when one would be available. I live 40 minutes away so was very ðŸ˜¡ with the whole situation!!! Cost me several trips and a full tank of gas!!!! Was told no discount for clearly uhauls mistake!!!! Really put a burden on my day!!! Very dissatisfied as a returning customer!!!!!
I want to make sure you know that the woman that hooked up the trailer was exceptional. She was very polite and made sure the trailer was cleaned out and mopped before left. It was a good experience even though they were busy she took the time to make sure everything was perfect.
Pickup was scheduled for 7am however the day of pickup, no employee was there at this location and it was completely closed until 2 girls that looked like they rolled straight from bed and still drunk opened the store at about 8:20am-8:30 am showed up to open the location and give us keys to start our out of town location. I was to receive a credit due to the mishap and that didn't happen. I'll never refer anyone to that one. Very disappointing and cause an even longer move and more money since i hired helpers to move and they sat and did nothing for over the 1st hour.
It was a little disorganized. The utility dollie was not in the vehicle. So even though I checked in via the app, I had to go get the dollie inside. I was trying to avoid that. But, it went decently smooth. I know what to expect the next time I rent a vehicle.
Have more than one person on staff. I rent often and there is never enough staff.
Store didn't check my truck in till two days after, manger showed no empathy that the charge the caused held up the available credit I had on my credit card. Was crazy rude and talked to me through her employee

I was charged for a full tank of gas which I did not use. Customer Service has been more then difficult to get ahold of.
I don't know what you can do to improve but the girl at the front desk did a great job she was helpful and quick I dont know her name she did my paperwork so should be able to find out who she is and give her a raise thanks again. Karl Fisher
The uhaul rental experience was very good. Truck was ready when scheduled, clean, and in good shape. Had been awhile since had used uhaul and was very happy with the location, truck type, and employee service today.
When I showed up at this location I had to redo everything I had already done online to reserve the UHaul. I should've just been handed the keys when I showed up instead of wasting 30 minutes having the employee redo everything
