terrible day in my life!!! I got work order to get truck at 5703 NW 2nd St but store was closed ,nobody in there to support me!!! i did not reach truck key and My truck was not ready to go,. I try to reach customer service, it takes more than 10 minutes to talk someone!!! every customer service had said different thing and I spent 2-3 hours in front of the U-haul Store!!! An Interesting guy came in and try to help me and open the Store ?? So really terrible day for me!!! and then I found another U-haul Store which is open and got truck from there.

the only problem I have is your corporate policies. I needed a 26' long truck. I was told the longest they had available was a 17' truck. I was told for local use they could not have one brought from another store. OK I get that being there are several in the same town. However when I picked the truck I was told they still did not have one even though there were several parked off to the side. I had to make several extra trips to get moved which not only took several hours longer but cost me $40+ more due to extra mileage. next time I will think again. I never had this trouble when I rented a truck from our old home town of Carroll Iowa.

I paid $10 for the furniture dolly. That never came in the truck. When I got the truck, I had a full tank of gas (thank you), but when I dropped the truck off, I gave it 3/4, since i was charged for the furniture dolly i didn't get. and naturally, Uhaul charged me almost $30 to give it a full tank. I knew it would happen, but a tip would be for employees to make sure that trucks come with the equipment that the customer ordered and is paying for.

Your computer system needs to be updated. Secondly my mileage was computed at less than my actual trip which was without any side trips. Thus I went over assigned mileage.

I did the online pickup but had to go inside the location to get the key. This location was understaffed (one guy) with a line of customers 8 deep. I asked if I could just grab me key and explained how I did everything with the app, he told me I had to wait. I waited 1+ hours and when I got to the counter he just looked at my phone and handed me the keys. It was a rediculous waste of time to do all the work of checking in with the app and have to wait for a key. During my trip I encountered rain and the passenger side wiper blade fell apart. I had to pull over and put the metal spine back in the wiper in pouring down rain because I couldn’t see out of the whole windshield on an interstate. This was my worst U-Haul experience I have ever had.

was physically attacked by one of your employees and demand that employees termination. not sure what kind of personnel you employ, but I can assure you I will pursue this matter until satisfaction is achieved.

Guys working the desk there are not pleasant. They screwed with me on when I was getting my equipment. I didn't get the van the day I was supposed to. They told me I could pick up all equipment the next day at 9am and I could only pick up the van, the trailer I had to wait until after noon. I then had to travel to a different location to even get my trailer.

Everyone who was supposed to work the day before labor day didn't come in, except one guy. The wait wa over 2 hours. The guy did his best. There was a near riot from dissatisfied customers. The manager was coaching the guy on the phone. I'm a manager, if I had a guy in that situation, I would have come right in, and brought help. This was unacceptable, rude and unprofessional.

When I spoke with the call center - they were extremely helpful and kind! We were initially running ahead of schedule by about 90 mins and when we stopped to pick up the trailer at this location, they told us we couldn’t have it until the scheduled time. I called the call center and the modified notes and were able to pick it up. I was annoyed because there wasn’t a high demand for it - they just didn’t want to help us and used time as the justification.

The customer service was AWFUL - both when we picked up and dropped off the truck there were no words spoken to us. I am not exaggerating. We walked in and the person at the counter didn't greet us or talk at all until I prompted conversation and said that I was picking up the truck. At that point. it was only few words, such as "Phon number?" "Emergency Phone Number" Would not recommend to anyone!

the site was fine. the problem was with the home office. was suppose to drop off at another location. they changed at the last minute and this one was 40 miles out of the way. when I adjusted my schedule so not to be inconvenienced they wanted to charge me an additional day rental.

Your online system seemed easy but when picking up equipment it had reserved the wrong size of truck. But Ben the manager on duty called more then 4 customers to find a truck that was the right size. He was able to locate,check in and clean to give us with only a 30 minute delay. He saved this experience as we will return to this location for his customer service
