They failed to mention if the truck was returned after 7pm I would be charged 20 dollars extra. When I got the truck the tank wasnt even actually full. I filled it with took 5 gallons.. I didn't drive that far. I then called and requested a refund. I was told I would hear from a manager but I wouldnt be issued a refund because it was in the contract. Thata a hidden fee and its a bad business practice. I still want my money back. It cost me over 100 dollars to use a truck for less than 4 hours. It was in town and I returned it to the same location. Ridiculous

Check in clerk didn't seem to care that the vehicle I was getting was not what I ordered. I reserved a 10ft truck and got a van. Told me I could take it or leave it. Showed my confirmation letter that said truck but she didn't care. Girl that gave me the van never got out of her laying down position and had me come to her for the key. Told to make sure mileage matched and to go. I told her mileage didn't match and if she could come verify it. She told to take a pic of it and deal with it when I got back. Never got up from her laying down position. Wouldn't even do a walk around to make sure there was no pre-existing damage. Checked in 6 hours later and was almost charged close to $500 dollars because miles didn't match. Manager checked things out and found out that I had been given wrong vehicle and laying down girl should've caught it before I left. Finally got it straightened out. Was a $19.95 van but somehow it still came out to $35 even with no mileage charged. Horrible experience except for the manager who did a great job of clearing things up. Hope he gets more competent help.

I was supposed to receive the truck at 9am. Didn't receive it until 11am due too the system going down. They couldn't figure out how to bypass the system to keep business going unlike the first location we stopped at that had figured out how to keep business going. Was told to bring the unit back before 8am the following morning and they wouldn't charge me a $20 overnight fee. I had brought back the truck before 5:30pm, 6 hours after renting it and was told by a worker who had told me where to park the truck that I didn't have to do anything because they email my receipt. I was still charged the $20 even though I only had the unit until about 5:30pm. I have tried to contact someone and no response. Customer service had even left them a message to get back to me right away and still nothing. While dealing with this I received a call from someone at u-haul saying they are gonna cancel my reservation because it was showing that I never showed for the truck when in all reality I was there. I explained to the person the situation with the system being down and they said well I still have to mark it as not received. I'm very disappointed in the fact that I'm being charged for something that I shouldn't be and the fact that u-haul didn't offer any compensation for the inconveniences they had caused for our move and made our situation worse. The truck that we rented also had some problems with the brakes and transmission. The brake light on the dash came on at one point while driving and was dinging. Brakes were released and to put the truck in drive or anything was really hard at some point while using the truck. Also nobody had gone over anything about the truck when outside to take it. Was just told it's outside for us to take. Doesn't sound like anybody really looks over theses unit before renting them out. I will say that the associates working behind the counter were trying their best but we're also very frustrated that u-haul and the tech support weren't helpful. All in we feel like u-haul takes advantage of people and doesn't care about their customers.

I made a reservation for 3 days w/ a 26' truck at a nearby Uhaul location. My reservation subsequently go transferred to a different location, and when I went to pick up my truck, my reservation was only for 1 day (I have proof of my original confirmed 3 day rez). They wouldn't give me the 26' truck for 3 days, instead giving me a 20', which caused me to have to rent a SECOND truck from a different location, throwing off my entire moving schedule. Completely unprofessional and unhelpful.

One mirror was broken upon pickup, the other was loose and moved with the wind. It was very difficult, and often scary. The truck was very clean though.

This has literally been the worst customer service experience of my life. Not only have the most absurd situations happened to me (unit didn't have lock taken off as promised and I had to drive a truck 40 min back home, entire security system went off for 10 minutes and no one showed up or ever addressed it, entire unit flooded, terrible customer service such as long wait lines, etc.) but then the customer service on the phone had empty promises and did not follow up on what was said. I and nobody I know will ever use UHaul storage again. It is not that complicated to meet basic customer service expectations, like speaking and listening in a mature tone.

Clone Jayme and Nicole (and Raquan, too), and send them out as teams of three to other U-Haul hubs across the US. Other than that, please take it smooth and slow when expanding. It would be sad to rush things and lose the fine balance that this location has achieved.
