After being a regular the last 5 months renting from this location, I got a trailer that was nearly impossible to open and close. It was beyond frustrating the fight I had all weekend (3 days) with this trailer that should have been taken out of rotation a long time ago.

Check out took over 30 minutes due. The truck was clean, but the rear door was difficult to open and close. I also could not get the app or website allow me to return the truck. I called the help line and he said he had never seen this problem and couldn't help. I would just have to wait until the next day.

Poor customer service, everyone both on pickup and return seemed pre-occupied. So not only did you have to wait, but getting them to help you with anything was tough. They left it to me to pre-trip the vehicle and then could hardly get anyone to come over and note damages before I left the lot. Shy of making sure I was going to pay, it was basically, here's the keys...see ya

The running lights did not work on the trailer. I mentioned that upon turning in the trailer. It is not fair to state whether the equipment was well maintained, as they can only repair the wiring if they knew about it. I notified them when I turned the trailer in.

My reservation pick up location was changed without a phone call or email letting me know. I had everything planned out to get done on my lunch break and then was told my reservation was moved someone 20 minutes away. Then I get there and they dont have the trailer. So I had to go back again the next day putting miles i hadnt accounted for on the truck. Then they wanted more money from me when I returned the truck because I went over on miles. I will not be using uhaul again.

We returned the truck and trailer on Sunday so we only had it 3 days we were charged for 5. It was our understanding if we were done early we would be credited for the days not used. Not the case. We also could not get another drop of gas in the truck and were charged additional. Had to use drop box.

I feel you should have someone at the counter for customers at all times when i went in i had to wait for fifteen minutes for them to come back to the counter that is to long to wait then others came in behind me also waiting that long

Everything was smooth and flawless. Everyone at this location was very nice, helpful, and experienced. They did not try to upsell me to anything and did not try to add on any extra charges. My mileage estimate was slightly over the mileage that I actually used so my final bill was about $3 less then the pre-authorization. I used the after hours return to drop off the vehicle and they had it all checked in and emailed me my final receipt the next morning before 9 a.m. You can't ask for much better than that. This is the way all rental places should be operated. So often around the country places overcharge and add on fees trying to get a lot of money and extra money from each customer instead of doing good business and having customers return every time they need a service and not bothering to look somewhere else. This location seems to be doing a great job in this respect. The only thing that I wish was different is you seem to be unable to call the location directly. The local number gets routed through a call center which seems to be able to handle any questions or concerns so I guess that's the new way of doing things. Off and it's even this way when you order pizza today. I'm just the type that would prefer to be able to speak to someone at the actual location. But that is mainly a personal preference. My experience with this location was everything I could expect and even more with prompt service and quick return check in and email of receipt. I was going to use the other U-Haul location closer to the item I was moving but even though they are a large equivalent size center they did not have all available pickup times that they were open showing on the website. Thanks to the crew at this Dayton, Linden Avenue location. Keep up the great work.
