I tried to return on line but the website is very unclear so ended up getting charged an extra 20 dollars. After a long day of moving, navigating an unclear website is not reasonable. Also, the half tank requirement appears to be a way for you folks to squeeze more money out of folks since how does a person know when they have hit half a tank when putting in fuel. You ended up with an extra 1/4 tank of gasoline.KATHRYN C.

The associate who helped us was newâ€”she claimed she was still training. I am sympathetic towards her for that, however I felt the supervisor should have watched her more closely because it ended up in a headache for us. I had paid beforehand online as well as checked in, but she seemed confused the whole time we were working with her. We went to return the UHaul to our final destination (Des Moines l, IA) at their Urbandale location, and the employee there said the transaction was coded as a transfer, as if we were a UHaul employee. He was very confused, but gave us a receipt and we left. Then the next day I got a call asking why we hadn't turned in the UHaul....which of course we did. It was from the Urbandale location that we dropped the truck off at. They said that somehow TWO contracts were created for us as if we had rented TWO trucks instead of one. All I can think of is that it went back to the initial process in Coralville, so I'm guessing the employee that was training messed something up. Now I'll have to watch my credit card statement to make sure I don't get charged twice for the truck. Like I said, I am sympathetic toward those that are training and know things can be tough, but she clearly wasn't ready to conduct the transaction by herself and this all could of been avoided had the supervisor monitored her more closely.Daniel H.

Truck had a leak in front right corner which got my bed all wet. It would have been nice if the person checking me in would mention the text I'd receive and to follow directions before leaving. I wasn't able to change the amount of fuel required on return. It was less than 1/2 full but I was told it needed to be half.ISAAC D.
The young man who helped me at the store was wonderful and very helpful! My complaint is with the "contactless" reservation I made online to avoid going in the store. There were no signs and no directions so I had to go inside despite doing everything already online. Again, the young man was apologetic and very helpful and made it contactless and painless as possible! He gets 5 stars!âââââ But the execution of your online pickup system is non existent.APRIL A.
