Understaffed- the starting mileage was recorded incorrectly- I should have brought this to their attention before I left but fortunately I did take a picture of it before leaving.- they made the correction but it took a lot of time. Had the same issue with the fuel level. I brought it back with more fuel than I left with. The 15’ gets terrible mileage. Used 5 gallons of gas to go 11 miles with just a queen bed and small dresser as a load. The facilitiy was very clean and outdoor service help very nice.

My Original pick up location was 721 SW 2nd St. Fort Lauderdale Fl. 33312. But when I went to the location the truck I had reserved (26ft.) for 8am was not there. So I had to locate another truck last minute with no time to spare due to Uhaul workers arriving at my home at 9am. This was not a good experience at all !!

I will never use this location again. I arrived promptly for my pick up time and had to wait in line for 15 minutes. Last night I completed all of my personal information to “ expedite my check in time“ in which I was asked to repeat information I already submitted. When hooking up the trailer to my vehicle the man doing it claimed that there was no where to plug the lights in and wrote me off! He told me I wouldn’t be able to rent the trailer. As the customer I had to volunteer to look the information up online. I knew it was possible because my family rented a trailer last year from U-Haul and had no issues. I inquired if I could not rent the trailer if I could rent a truck, which I was told I could and another employee argued with his coworker regarding whether or not there was one available. Regardless, it was unprofessional to do in front of the customer. Finally, after calling my parents and adamantly encouraging the employee there was indeed a solution - I Showed him where the hook up was and it worked! This employee was so quick to disregard my input. There was no apology or any humility whatsoever. Upon returning the trailer I waited outside for half an hour. I called the place of business and waited on hold until I was redirected to the main customer service line. Finally a gentleman came out who possessed customer service skills. His name is Earl. He tried to get me checked in efficiently, but the server was not working. I was then asked to go inside where but the server was not working. I was then asked to go inside where a very nonchalant employee took her time coming to the front. I was surprised to see that there was no one in the store considering I had waited on the phone for so long. Two other customers hundred behind me. We exchanged experiences about how displeased we were with the customer service. Instead of helping to check my equipment in so I could go home, the employee proceeded to contact her coworkers to address why she had to do the work and they could not. Again, thanks for wasting more of my time. When she learned that the server was working again she sent me and the other customers back outside. She was unwilling to assist. She did not even take notice that there were two separate parties and she was sending us outside to one associate. Earl completed the check out and sent me to the returns. However he was also the employee who needed to receive my return and since the inside employee put all the work on him, I had to wait even longer. This was by no means Earl’s fault. I reserved a 4x7 utility trailer at the location. Later I was told I would have to pick up the trailer from a less convenient location. I was told the Johnson Rd location had the size larger trailer available and I should be able to get for the price of the 4x7. Johnson said they could not give the larger trailer for the price of the 4x7, which I had reserved. ALSO, PLEASE REPEAL YOUR POLICY PROHIBITING SOFT TOP JEEP WRANGLERS FROM BEING ABLE TO RENT TRAILERS! THE NEWER MODEL, FOUR DOOR WRANGLERS ARE MUCH MORE STABLE THE OLDER MODEL WRANGLERS

I had to wait over 30 minutes to get my deposit remainder back. That should of been a simple, quick process. Its not the employees there fault its whoever does the schedules fault for not having someone who can immediately open a register to give me my money back quick at all times.

First, they had to call someone to verify they knew me which I believe is completely unprofessional. Secondly when I brought it back they said whoever put the trailer on my truck did not put it on in properly. I was lucky it did not come off.!!!!!

U-Haul is absolutely terrible at keeping track of their inventory. This is not the first tine I booked online, CALLED TO VERIFY, and yet later on I was requested to go to a different location. This is unacceptable and neglectful to the customer. U-Haul proves not to care about the time or travel wastes of their clients. Not to mention being charged for 4 DAYS when I only used it for 48hrs.

1st trailer had some (not all) lights inop. Employee tried to blame it on a fuse. No sir. Connected a 2nd trailer... well, connected the lights and the safety chain. But did not secure the coupler. 1/3 mile down the road the trailer broke loose. Damaging vehicle. Insurance filed. So no, not your best location.
