We had a very intense snowstorm in Chicago the night before my return date. I was unable to return the trailer until my vehicle was able to make it out of the snow and safely drive in the streets. The entire city was practically on hold for 2-3 days due to reduced staffing in our Streets and Sanitation Department. However, I was charged for 3 days with no consideration for waiving any fees or having compassion towards the situation. Even in my attempt to drop off the trailer the night before my return date, and before the storm picked up very bad, I couldn't get into the lot because it was not salted or plowed. I had to return home. I explained my situation to the manager and staff to no avail. I'm very weary about u-haul right now. I've never had an experience this bad and I've been renting U-hauls for over 10 years.

not knowing the location, and being in the city...to know the facility is in a warehouse looking building, and that parking was across the street would be helpful, as coming from the west it is not as readily noticed.
Customer service is terrible the assistant manager hung up on me and wouldn't answer when I called back
Be truthful to your customers
there was dried up food inside cab, and paperwork from last driver, a sox, and candy wrapper in glove compartment
The older gentlemen whom was attending the register next to the young lady assisting me was extremely rude and kept commenting on our conversation. He refused to rent me a truck unless I would â€œprovide them with a number to call and verify who I wasâ€? Which has never in the 10 years I have been a customer of the same location occurred. I give a back up number which is on every invoice I've ever gotten but they claim they needed to speak with someone. I felt harassed and let down by the customer service at location the day of my rental. The team did not even pull the truck out of spot to assure cleanliness or to assure the equipment I ordered was in truck. Cab of truck contained garbage in a Burger King bad a smashed can and some balled up pieces of paper. When I asked the man for his name he refused to give it to me, he simply pulled a name tag off the counter next to him and pointed at it. I have no way of knowing what it said as I did not have my glasses with me. Had it been properly placed on his chest like it should have I could've got a glimpse of it when I was closer to the counter.
Make sure vehicle is clean in side out.

I truely dont do ratings. But uhaul should be aware of the poor service and quality. Everytime i rent a uhaul it is always something. I need you to be aware that i never used dolly was back in the alouf time. I dnt think this is fair how after hr drop off is done.

Just keep the customers happy to these hard times
Your associates don't enforce rules for customers wearing a mask. A mandatory mask requirement is on the door and 3 customers in one party were in the store at the time of my return with no mask. Also, I was checked in 30 mins after arriving to drop off equipment and were held accountable for the 30 minute delay checkin.
this was the first time i rented a truck, the staff was excellent. answered all question when i picked the truck up and dropped it off very friendly staff
