Not specifically this location BUT the online interface asks, "How long will you use the truck?" This is a bad question and it screwed up our moving plans. From a process standpoint the better question would be a calendar and time slot that asks when the truck will be returned. That would avoid defects in the process. The system let me say I was returning a truck at 3:00am. That is dumb.

The owner tried to blame me for chains hanging down and said we put the trailer back on wrong, when we never took it off. I told her it stayed on the whole time but she continued to insist I damaged the chains which she put on.... when she saw I had the protection plan she gave up, I guess. Crappy customer service and by her own words, didn't put the trailer on safely.

I am a frequent U-haul customer, and I'm so happy that I just discovered this location. I had so many complaints about the dealer closet to me... Vickers Rd is several miles further away but well worth the drive. This place is clean and efficient. Best of all, the staff is courteous, well spoken and eager to please.

Include ramps with the 6x12 trailers. Crazy that they aren't included with that step up.
U-haul rep claimed the ramp and gate at the back of the 6x12 open trailer is 5 feet wide. I asked twice and she was confident. In hindsight, I should have brought a tape measure. It was ALMOST 5 feet wide. I drove an hour to pick up an ATV and it did not fit. The ATV is exactly 5 feet at the fenders. So, I figured they may scratch a little, which was fine. But the wheels would not even fit through the gate, and the wheels are several inches narrower than 5 feet. The incompetence of this staff member and her pride in not being willing to say 'I don't know' wasted my entire day. Additionally, when we were at the location with the atv and saw it wasn't fitting, I called a local station to see if I could swap the 6x12 trailer for a car hauler. He wasn't sure he could and said to call 800gouhaul. I did and they claimed they could not help me because the order was placed online and they are just a call center. This lack of responsibility and empathy is unacceptable. I had corporate file a customer action form, but I don't think there's anything that can be done to fix the situation now.

family closes at 7:00 PM I arrived at 7:03 just as attendants were leaving the drop-off area they told me I had to use the website to return the trailer it would have been a nice customer service jester for them to process my return
I have used this location a few times in the past but unfortunately after the treatment I received from the manager, Precious Howard, today I will not be going back. She charged me a cleaning fee because she said the bed of the pickup truck was dirty. She said there was sand in bed of truck so I swept it out again and she said still dirty. Luckily a representative from corporate was able to view pictures and immediately submitted a refund for cleaning fee. Her lack of business etiquette was astonishing. From the moment I pulled up she had an attitude with me.
I used an online pick-up, but the signal of the phone was fragile. It takes a very long time to upload photos, and there was a very waiting time to get approval. The staff was accommodating, and another customer who chooses a traditional pick-up can get his truck faster than me. I regret to choose online pick-up. U-haul should prepare free wifi or mobile phone base station. Thanks.
I went to this location after another location did not have the equipment I reserved, and could do nothing to help me. The folks I talked to here were intelligent, friendly, and easy to work with.

The cargo van was brand new and the rental cost was competitive.
This experience was AWFUL from the begining taking over 40 minutes to pick up my reserved truck. Then when pulling out the ABS brake warning came on - I thought it was a false warning since the truck was a POS. Only had to go four miles round trip so I thought the U-Haul junker would make it. Was I wrong. Arrive at my moms house, turned off the truck, surveyed the items to be moved. Decided it would be best if I backed into the driveway. Hopped in the dirty junk-mobile and the POS would not start. Tried calling the rental place (two miles away) no answer.. Put on hold for 30 agonizing minitues thinking I was running out of time an watching my paid help get paid without having to load a truck. Called again, 30+ minutes of waiting, disconnected by U-Haul. Called again, 30 minutes and was able to talk to their disaster team who called roadside assist. Waited for one hour for the nice mechanic to show up. He could not fix the junker. Needed to be towed. - good thing it was empty. Disaster team back on the phone tying to send me to another U-Haul location 25 miles away....remember, I have no car as it is at the other location...2 miles away. She then found me a truck there! Amazing. Asked how do I get there....ready....she told me to call UBER! Ended up running to the location only to wait for 40 minutes again while they help a more-than competent person put bolts in his pod. Gets better, Precious had the gall to blame me for her POS truck and asked if I checked the battery. No, I did not check the f'ing battery B/C all lights worked, chimes were loud AND the mechanic said it was fine. Then she said you should have callled the location....I do for over 1.5 hours, they DID NOT pick up the phone. I want a refund.
Customer service was great. Truck and trailer were great. Price was right. A good experience.
2nd time I've hired from this location; 1st time double charge on my credit card, 2nd time over charged by $1.
efficient and helpful
It would have been nice to have cruise control on such a long trip, but that is a minor concern. It is understandable that a vehicle designed for moving things would not have that feature. The van itself was brand new and operated perfectly. The van rental was a good experience overall.
