It is impossible to return the truck with the exact amount of fuel when you don't get it full. If it is too little, you get charged $30. If it is too much, you lose money. Fill the trucks and expect them to return full, just like the rental car companies.TERRENCE B.
I made a reservation the day before but they never told me I needed to confirm an email to save the reservation. When I showed up the next day they said I did not have a reservation. Fortunately they had a larger truck I was able to use for four hours.john A.

Answer the phone. I was over charged by a day because they were not there to check me in. After waiting ten minutes for someone to come where the sign said to wait, I had to walk around the facility for 5 to ten minutes to find the one worker who told me to leave keys and he will check it in later. When I got my receipt online it had an extra day because of when they checked it in it was late. Kept calling but no answer then sent to corporate line that had 15 minute wait. Had to drive back k to get rate fixes in person. Should pay me $.89 a mile for that ride. That's not great customer service at all.Carmine S.

I drove 26 miles and put in 2 gallons of gas. Does the truck get worse than 13 miles/gallon? I took a photo of the fuel gauge at the start and it was less than 3/4 full. Why the fuel surcharge?Jamie W.
We rented on an incredibly busy day (evident from the lack of availability in the entire region) but when we got to the location only one person was working. There were trucks backed up from the drop off area to the street needing to be checked in, and at least 3 people in the customer service area picking up or dropping off the entire time we were there, and only ONE person was working. Makyla Taylor did a fantastic job dealing with each customer, apologizing for delays and processing customers as quickly as she could with an incredible amount of patience. SHAME ON UHAUL for putting her in a situation where basic service to customers was constantly apologizing. You are able to predict need based on reservations, you should be able to schedule more than one staff for peak times of service. Ms. Taylor needs a raise, and your district manager needs to seriously evaluate this store manager's capability.ANGELA B.

Truck reservation that was scheduled at least a month in advance wasn't available and I had to wait 1 3/4 hours for truck to be available. Staff blamed this on inaccuracy of online system. Upon return of truck (driven 13.9 miles after which I put 3.3 gallons of gas in the truck) I was charged a total of $64 in fuel related charges. When I called the local office to dispute charges an attempt was made to credit my card appropriately however the person ended up charging me again versus crediting me. Some major employee training is needed at this location.Ken L.
The gentlemen named luke who was managing the store at the time was extremely patient and definitely a good sport. Luke and I had a pleasant time conversing, he helped me out with what my options were what and helped me come to the best end solution for what I needed. Luke had a good sense of humor and made me glad to be there the process took awhile but I did not mind because his customer service was excellent as well as the plethora of phone calls from customers to his managers, even on the phone he was still somehow able to keep us flowing in the right direction while ALSO helping out the new employees that he had to assist and train all while keeping a big grin on his face I would recommend luke and u-hual here on 15 501 to anyone who needs to move anything.
