Reserved online a trailer with no insurance option. My wife picked up and said no insurance. When asked. At online check out I was charged insurance and we looked at paper and pick up agent added it even after it was declined online and in person. Now I am out an extra $42. Which is a huge percentage on an $80 dollar rental

The drop off location to which we were referred by the closed-location accepted our trailer without question or hassle. We should have been sent here originally.

I am a regular customer and in the past when no reps are available we could drop off the trailer and be on our way. Tonight, since no employees were around I began to disconnect the trailer myself as usual. I got all the way to lifting it off the hitch when a young guy popped up and told me I had to reconnect it so he could check the lights. He didn't offer to take care of it himself and when I lightly protested he said it's required. I reconnected it and after complying he then proceeded to watch me remove the trailer myself. He's early 20's dark hair and said he has been there only a couple months. I am 54 and been using this location for many years. When I advised him of my displeasure with not only his service but his attitude as well and that I would review my experiance he informed me that he would get encouraged to continue doing as he did. Now I don't know about U Haul but this is not the kind of service I would want my employees to provide. In fact it is the exact opposite of the experiance I had when picking up the trailer earlier the same day.

Vehicle return location finding was not very smooth. The original location I choose to return was not available for this return. I was given an alternate location at apx 10 miles far.

My experience was absolutely awesome until I returned the truck and was charged for insurance that I clearly denied in the beginning and have the paper work as prove that I refused the insurance. I just don't understand why the person who I returned the truck thought I would not notice. That is pretty disturbing. Please know that I will pursue this if it is not removed from my credit card along with the taxes.

Check the truck to make sure hand carts, dollies, etc. are inside before sending it out. I had to go back to the uhaul location to pick up what should have been in the truck when I took it off the lot.

Make sure the online check-in works. We had to have an employee help us because the online check-in/pick-up kept asking me to read and accept the equipment instructions but there was nowhere to do that.

I'm pretty sure that my card was charged 3 different times. I have two transactions posted to my account already and a third pending. I did bring it to their attention and they assured me that it will adjust. I'm giving it one more day to correct before I return to the location.
