The girl didn’t explain the 24 hour pick up thing to me at all (and even told me that I had to go home and do it myself until the guy next to her corrected her) so when I went to pick up the truck I didn’t have an account set up and the reservation was all messed up

No one properly explained how I would be charged and when I called customer service to ensure that I successfully paid what I owed, the customer service representative was rude and said everything was taken care of and the charge had already processed. A couple hours later, I was charged again. I calle the next day to share the misinformation I had been given and the customer service representative was rude and defended the misinformation I had previously been given. I would not recommend this service due to poor customer service and poor communication.

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Picked up the truck and was told there was a dolly. I drove 20 miles to my destination to find there was no dolly in the truck. I had to make two trips in order to get everything. When I called the store, I got the call center and the woman blamed me for not checking to see if the truck had a dolly. Sorry, but it’s not my job to check to make sure you did your job. I will never use Uhaul again.

U-Haul offers customers moving helpers from different companies. The horrible pitfall I fell in that I hired 2 helps for 4 hours though the time I'll be needing their help was like 1-2 hours but I thought that because I'm paying for 4 hours, it means that I can be using their help for 4 hours even if I have to move the things from multiple locations to my new home. The helpers denied that claiming that they only do ONE load and ONE unload even if you are paying for 24 hours for them and this should be ONLY from one location to another ONE location. When confronted with non-stated terms prior to purchase, their boss said it was U-Haul's fault for hiding this information from its customers. So, I was a victim of both ... U-Haul and the Helpers and I had to do another move by myself by the time that helpers left 2 hours earlier ... it was a shame. Be careful, guys not to be the next victim.

We changed our date of pickup and was forced to drive 35 miles out of the way to pick up a trailer to use to drive to Lake Havasu. We were told all the trailers at the most convenient location were for local use only....WHAT? Why couldn't one of those be designated to go somewhere else to make it more convenient for customer. Disatisfied about that.

To the last question. It was not about this particular location. It was about first getting bounced around when I got the truck. My designated location did not have it had to go to another location. Never received the $50 guarantee credit. The truck I got had a hundred sixty thousand miles on it..the power steering failed going through a pass in Colorado .the headlights needed to be either changed or cleaned , lighting was not adequate . When I reach my destination U-Haul. The first guy check me in said that a couple pieces of cardboard I had in the back with no problem throw out. His manager came out and said no uncheck him let him take that cardboard somewhere else and rechecking back in. Which I understand the truck needs to be clean but it was three pieces of cardboard really. I also was wondering why I would have to pay for extra gasoline if I came up short but since I was 6 gallons / I did not get a refund of that money that seems kind of one way in your favor. And then the last but not least thing is I asked to use the bathroom and they said it was not for the General Public. The general public did not just pay you $1,600 I'm a paying customer. I've been a loyal U-Haul user for years I have very high doubts I will be using your services again. Please credit my $50 for jerking me around. And anything else will be appreciated for your absolute horrible customer service in many locations. I don't need a call from any representatives . Please just credit my account thank you.

Should have advised at ordering that truck would be picked up at another location that is not open in mornings. It was not very easy to rent. We did not have our codes since computer packed. Corp helped but we were an hour late.

This was not our contracted drop of location. We went to the one on our contract and they said they would not take our truck/tow trailer return and to go elsewhere
