Give paper contracts and receipts on request. Make equipment damage notation available to customer like is possible when you rent a car so the receiving Uhaul people will know that any damage (bent fenders ,etc.) predated the rental.

Rental vehicles should be clean not only in the inside but also the outside. This vehicle looked like it had not been washed in days. Could not even see out front windshield.

Charged me $12.00 for an appliance dolly but Uhaul forgot to put it on the truck. I called in right when I noticed it was missing and asked for my money back and they said they had to transfer me to customer care. Customer care said they could notate my account and when I dropped it off I would get my $12.00 back. When I went to drop off the truck they told me they couldn't refund my money but they did see the notes from customer care but that I had to contact the original store to get my money back. I finally got the guy at truck return to call the other store for me and they told him they would expense refund me the $12.00 and I would get an email confirmation. I never got the email confirmation so now I'm going to have to work even harder to get my money back. On top of that, due to the inconvenience of not having the appliance dolly (that I paid for and needed) I had to pick up and carry a fridge and ended up with a nasty scrap on my arm.

The self checking took 30min. This is absolutely ridiculous. Reduced the number of steps required to check-in and improve the processing time of each step to less than 5 seconds. The entire check-in process should be completed within 60 seconds by someone who has never done it before. Specific improvements: -allow check-in without creating a uhall account via a code sent during the reservation process. There is a place for this on the website already but it does not work. -skip uploading photos and address confirmation. If you do need these for legal reasons then improve the response time to under 5 seconds. -setup cameras at entrance to lot, so when the vehicle leaves and retunes it is photographed. This prevents the user or employ from needing to do it to confirm no damages had occurred. If damage is done to the vehicle then just go back through the records. -dont ask for fuel level or total miles. Even better have it auto update the information when the vehicle returns to the lot via a WiFi chip that can be connected to the CAN bus and read the information.

Extremely poor customer service, "james" kept wanting to transfer my call but didnt have a reason he couldnt help me, he couldn't find my rental agreement until he finally hung up the call on me. When I called back I spoke with someome else that resolved my issue very quickly. I dont know if "james" was off site?.. Maybe a very poor contractor, but when I asked if I could even visit the location to speak in person "james" became very dodgy that I couldnt speak with him and told me he wasnt at the location I had called, and that he couldnt help me only transfer my call. Which lead me to question what he could help me with and which point he didn't answer and hung up the call. I would appreciate a follow up as I would expect any reputable company to try to correct. Some of the worst customer service I have ever received.

I returned the trailer after hours ( as per contract) after using it for about 6 hours but the next day i was charged twice the amount because i didn't go online to manually check in the return. The overage was returned to me after i called but the point here is this new system charges automatically for the next day should return is made after hours? And then i have to call to demand my over charges back as if though i'm a panhandler.

This uhaul is usually awesome. I use them at least once to twice a week for my business. But, I went in Tuesday and the service from Bree was horrible. She was rude and condescending to the other rep, Jim. Jim and the other staff are amazing and always take great care of me, but Bree made me not want to go back because of her bad attitude.

Service was poor. We had to wait 1 half hour to speak with a customer service rep. Then had to return home to get cell phone before we could pick up the truck (this should have been indicated at the time I reserved it). Had to wait almost 45 minutes in line to return the truck. All of this was unacceptable.

I was told they gave me extra day because the drop off place probably wasn't open Sundays. I called 3 times Sunday and only received a recording. They were not open, didn't want to leave it out in front of business to possibly get stolen. Received a charge for an extra day.

At time was charged 14.00 per day road fee to card for 4 days. I questioned the fee because we decided to drive straight to california from phoenix. The employee said the fee would be reimbursed for days when return drop off!! Drop off location said NO Arizona Uhaul lied. Someone a Uhaul kept the extra 41.00. RENTERS BEWARE

This location is the very best I've tried so I continue to return even though it is several miles away. Jim is great and he is always terrific about getting my rental process done as quickly as possible. He was especially wonderful about helping me with turning back in a vehicle when there was a long line of customers on an especially busy day. He was able to get me on my way quickly and with a smile! I appreciate the great level of customer service he provides each time I am there to rent again!
