When picking up late they need to a just time difference. Should have been 30mins late but charged a hour $59.00 was not told about the time to drop off.

Wasn't really a fan of being charged for the full mileage when I accidentally put more gas in the truck then what it started with, basically got charged extra money due to this but I guess enjoy your free gas at my expense? Meh, it was ok at best, the cabin of the truck was a little messy when I got into it, there were some candy wrappers about it but it was fine other than that. All in all, it's probably a one time use location, I dont see myself going back to that specific uhaul location again, staff was nice though.

My original reservation was for 12/21/19-12/25/19. When a customer makes a reservation (especially when it's done 3 months in advance), then the item they reserved should be available on they day they requested. UHaul called me the day before we were to pick up the trailer and told me the size I reserved was unavailable at that location and the nearest one to me was a 35 minute drive away. We then decided to upsize the trailer and could pick that up at our original location. I didn't have the address of my original drop off location on me and they didn't have any in my city listed on their computer. I was told it wasn't an issue and to drop it off where I had picked. That wasn't the case.

Trailer was clean but the tires were well below average for a 500 mile trip that took us through the middle of nowhere. I was very concerned that the tires would not make it. I reported it to the drop off location.

Tow dolley was not inspected properly before I picked it up. The fender welds were broken which resulted in the fender flying off 16 hours into my trip. The service was great but more care needs to be taken during the inspection process prior to renting vehicles and trailers.

Rockin R was great and helped me out of a jam caused by the UHaul dealer in Hereford, TX (1315 E Park Ave, Hereford, TX 79045). I called this dealer on Thursday afternoon to reserve a trailer to move my daughter to her first apartment. I gave the man all my info, including my phone number. I never received a call or email about my contract. They were closed on Sunday, so I could not call about it when I realized they had not followed up. Showed up Monday morning at 8:00, and sure enough, no reservation and no trailer. It was like I never called. SO, instead of getting the trailer I called about 4 days ahead of time, I had to drive another 60 miles round trip to get a truck from Rockin R in Canyon. No trailer was available. That cost me an extra $220. I had to move her that day, so I had no choice. I am appreciative of Rockin R for the truck - it saved us a lot of grief that would've been caused by the Hereford dealer.

They neglected to inform me there is a “wrong destination charge” but in their defense they are to make money for UHAUL The UHAUL REP ALSO NEGLECTED TO MENTION the extra charge over the phone when I asked if I could drop off a town ahead of my original town (less miles & a day early!) She even mentioned how we can drop off after hours BUT NEVER MENTIONED THE $300 “wrong destination charge” Not to mention I did drop off my truck at my original destination a day early so why would I drop off the carport a the difference location for an extra charge when I was gonna drive to my final destination? In others words contracts & UHAUL reps miscommunicate these fees! UHAUL CUSTOMERS BEWARE

Allow drop off of rented items at other local stores on an in-town rental. I had to drive 20 miles out of my way to pick up a trailer, and could have dropped it off 2 miles from my house, but that would have cost for a one way trip.

The U-Haul was great! Vehicle worked well and it made the move smooth. The owner of the shop wasn’t very professional. I was having trouble with the lock and I called the number given. The gentleman in the phone didn’t seem thrilled and they called the owner out there. He arrived and undid the lock and was very rude and condescending towards me for having difficulty with the lock. Yes he was able to unlock it without any problem but I still feel there should be a level of professionalism even on weekends when you are off. If you didn’t want to deal with people on weekends you shouldn’t offer that as an option.

The billing was incorrect. Not sure where the disconnect was, but I was charged $30 for "towing insurance" that I had declined and then when the charge came through, I was billed another $9. So I was only supposed to be billed $60 and the actual charges came to $99.

The representatives at the location in Texas had some of the best customer service I have ever seen. Unfortunately, your pricing for me to have to rent the trailer for 4 days and have to pay almost $400 for a 6 hours trip is ridiculous. While I love the customer service, I am going to have to think twice before I rent a U-Haul car hauler from out of state again!
