The women inside would not help me park the trailer, they would not help me unhook the tow rig either, I was told in Lincoln to only let the UHAUL associates connect or disconnect the tow, they insisted that they do not know how, so how do you have UHAUL associates that don't know how to operate UHAUL equipment??? I was very offended and dissatisfied by my experience with this location in Brandon, South Dakota on Cedar St. They even told me that my drop off was not at their location, when I had a confirmation text from UHAUL listing their location, my son is of mixed race and I do believe that they were rude and disrespectful and short with us for the simple reason my son is a person of color, we likely would drive to the next town before EVER going to the Brandon location ever again, I will also let people know the horrible treatment we receivedREBECCA S.

I was scheduled and received a text of the dealer location the day before pickup of the truck and advised to call and confirm. I called the number and left a voicemail. Upon arrival the next day, the person checking me in had no idea of the voicemail I left to confirm the reservation, but the truck was available and she was expecting me anyway. Very nice person. I inspected the exterior of the truck and it was fine, but the interior was filthy with dust, dirt, and pet hair. I wiped all the 'touch' places down thoroughly with a sanitizing wipe before driving the truck to my hotel. No, I didn't go back inside to advise the person that it was filthy. At the hotel, I got a wet rag and wiped down more of the interior before driving it again the next day to start loading it and before my one-way drive to my house in Rapid City. After unloading and before returning the truck to the local U-Haul Center, I vacuumed and washed down the interior completely. I didn't want to be held responsible for a filthy interior, since I only drove it 6 hours and less than 350 miles on a beautiful day. Otherwise, the truck operated great and allowed me to complete the transfer of household goods from a storage PODS to my rental house.Ronald B.

I was able to get my truck but the process was not with out problems. I reserved a truck online for the next day. I just needed it for a few hours to haul some furniture. The booking went fine and I received a confirmation email telling me I should go to the location the next day at 5 pm to pick up the truck. When I arrived at the location, it was 5 pm and all the workers had gone home for the day. I was told they close the office at 5 pm. Fortunately I hadn't made the reservation for any later than that or I wouldn't have been able to get the truck.They were called, but had no knowledge of my reservation. It seems there was a breakdown in communication between the online process and actual fulfillment. Luckily, there was still one person who hadn't left for the day who tried to help. He called U Haul for me, but they didn't seem to be able to find my reservation and I wasn't asked for my confirmation number which might have helped the process. There were some tense moments as I had a crew waiting on me so they could load up my stuff. In the end, I was able to get the truck and it worked well. The location was very convenient for me so we will likely use them again if we have a need. I would strongly suggest some sort of training or better communication between the online orders and local offices.Laura S.

Need to inspect the trailers when they come back to the lot. Trailer I rented, the wheel seal or something caught fire and the wheel blew. Was down on the side of the interstate for 2 hours. Had to back track roughly 40 minutes, to pick up a different, after a tow truck came out to get the broken trailer.John F.
The Brandon location was very messy. I ordered the uhaul from a Sioux Falls location and received a call 24 hours in advance informing me I had to drive a half hour to Brandon. It was extremely inconvenient. The location had minimal parking to leave my vehicle.Ariana S.

Truck cab was a little dirty and I actually had to drive out of my way to pick up the truck. I was given a break on the charges though and that was appreciated. The women at the pick up office was also very friendly and helpful.robert K.
