To send an email and confirm if doing a before hours pick up what information you will need in order to take the truck.
The check in process is clunky and not user friendly. There is a single email sent when the reswrvyis made, there is no confirmation of purchase in it, no details of the reservation, and no code to obtain the key. All of that is done after a long arduous process on the u-haul website. Just send the information in the email and make it easy for your customers to so business. I will not be renting u-haul again.
This was my first time renting from Uhaul, and I'd never do it again except as a last resort. The website didn't work properly on my PC or phone, so I wasn't able to upload my drivers license and had to go inside the location. Inside the person who helped me wasn't wearing a mask, though he found one and put it on once I asked him. The keys they gave me were for a van that was boxed in, so I had to come back in to get a vehicle moved. The van had damage on all sides that wasn't shown on the website, but I wasn't able to upload new photos to document the damage. There were $17 worth of taxes and fees added to the amount on my credit card authorization, so my $19.95 rental was already $78.67 at that point. I photographed all the damage on the outside and checked the gas level, but I should have photographed the mileage, because it was wrong. I made one trip to my new place, less than 20 miles round trip. When I went to return the van the next morning, the location was closed even though their hours list them as being open on Saturday. I still couldn't get the website to work to check the van in, so I was charged a $20 after hour fee. It was pouring rain and the gas gauge was just under 5/8, but I was charged a refill fee for 1.5 gallons of gas. I was also charged for $70 for driving 64 miles, even though *I drove 19. So my total for making one trip to a place 8 miles away was $155. The manager of the location was willing to refund the gas fee and after hours fee, but not the mileage. I called Uhaul's customer service line, but I'm waiting to hear back. Other than the van driving fine, everything about this was WAY more expensive and stressful that it needs to be. I can't believe they even advertise this as a $19.95 rental when the tax and fees alone guarantee that it will be twice that price, even without mileage or damage coverage. Definitely planning to tell anyone I know who is moving to avoid this location at all costs.
Only issue was license plate holder is about to come off the cargo van i rented

UNSAFE, THE DRIVER DOOR WAS BROKEN AND INDICATION OF DOOR NOT CLOSED! I COULD HAVE FELL OUT ALONG HIGHWAY! VEHICLE DAMAGE, SO I SHOULD BE (COMPENSATED) OR REIMBURSED HALF IF MY $$ BACK.

Justin was extremely friendly and very welcoming. He made it obvious that his first priority is customer service and making sure the customer is comfortable. I would DEFINITELY be renting from him again in the near future for all of my U-Haul needs.
I was very disappointed that it took 30 minutes to activate and use my account before I could open the Uhaul. I wish I had had notice, because it threw off my very tight schedule for the day.
The folks at the location were friendly and helpful, and the movers I hired through Uhaul were great -- thanks so much! The website/app almost worked, except where it tried to give me a van that had already been assigned to someone else. When returning the van, there was mention of an "EZ Fueling" option, which I would have preferred to refilling the tank myself, but there was nowhere to sign up for that option and the website wouldn't let me return the van with less gas than it started with, so I had to leave the dropoff site, get gas, and come back. Making it easy to sign up for EZ Fueling and/or understand how much to refuel would be helpful.
Great customer service at this location. It was clear that they cared about their customers.
The trick was in good condition and the gentleman (Justin) provided great customer service. However, we ordered 24 blankets and they only had 12 in stock. Unfortunately, many of those 12 blankets smelled like mold/mildew.
The UHaul app on my Android device, was not working properly while trying to return the truck. I had to login on my friends IPhone and do the process from his mobile. Dont whether thats my mobile issue, but something I thought should notify you about
The cab was very clean but the van bed had dirt in it, making it necessary for me to put a drop cloth down to protect my furniture and mattress. When I turned the van on, it was said "Oil Change needed". I also had requested a furniture dolly, utility dolly, and furniture pads, and none of those items were provided.

This was an excellent experience. Justin, the manager, was great. Got me in early, easy transaction, walked me through the truck and was there to meet me on the return. Exceptional customer service. Truck was clean and in good shape as well..
getting into the parking is a bit difficult for the trucks in such heavy traffic
I'm not sure if I would recommend the location. It was central and easy to find. Parking was a questionable thing. Forewarning is needed when using the app. At no point I remember was I made aware that the app account requires an alternative contact or a valid passport etc. even after experimenting with the app. It would have been nice to know and do ahead of time so I didn't waste 30 mins of my rental time. Return was so much easier.
