Customer service was slow. Your misleading advertising is frustrating -- your trucks are plastered with "$19.95 rental", but there is also a per-mile fee, plus an environmental fee. The cost is more than double that!

This Uhaul moving experience was absolutely terrible. I reserved a 6 x 12 trailor a week in advance, got to the supposed reservation location, and waited in line for 30 minutes. Then, I came to find out that this, in fact, was not my location! I was given no notification that the location had moved. I drove 30 minutes across town to the right location, and waited another 30 minutes in line. This put me behind 1.5 hours on my MOVE OUT DAY! I had people waiting on me at my house to help me move. So this did not only inconvenience me. This was completely unacceptable. Another thing to add is that the help line is a joke! I called the phone number connected to my uhaul location, expecting someone from that location. How am I supposed to be fully helped if I am directed to some random call center states away from me? The lady had no idea where I was. She didn't care about my circumstance, all she knew she needed to do was move my reservation time ahead. In her mind it was my fault I was an HOUR late to pick up my trailor. Move out day is hectic enough (especially with a trip across 4 states ahead of someone), and to be let down like this was just wrong. This experience was complete crap and I don't think it was nearly worth the $169.84 I paid for it. Honestly, I fully expect some kind of refund for this. I don't know how you guys are going to fix it, but something needs to happen so that this does not happen again. I am very disappointed in uhaul and will likely pursue some other moving alternative next time I am in need of this service.

returning the equipment took some time. There was no one their initially to greet me. When a person did show up he seemed a little irritated with me for not checking out using the phone. I explained to him that this is something that I don't do often and wasn't sure what to do. not a very pleasant experience with the drop off especially since I had been unloading furniture all day.

Pricing does not reflect value. There are too many little fees that easily doubled the price advertised. Equipment was clean but the front end alignment was extremely out of balance. We will be exploring other options for our next move.

I have an account with U-haul and made the reservation online. Uhaul's advertising says that one advantage is that I get to skip the line. This is not true. I also have to fill out in the store much of the same information that I already filled out online.

The location and staff were great. However the U-Haul organization is unorganized and untrustworthy. I contacted the community service department in March regarding a mission trip for inner city youth volunteers to build and repair homes in July (via email and voice message). Never received a response (not even a denial response). Fortunately, I have learned the Enterprise offers the same services at a lower price. I recommend anyone reading this review to check with Enterprise first. You may be pleasantly surprised.

Not sure...the problem is that the location has limited parking and access to office is difficult and location not obvious, so you park on one side of building, cross a lawn and hunt for office on other side....operation is well run however and customer oriented.

We had a great experience. After partially loading the trailer, we realized we needed a truck. The people at the office were great with helping us exchange the trailer for a 20’ truck. It was an easy and quick process.

I had reservations for 11:00am. I got there by 10:50am and was driving away at 11:50. A full hour of standing there because there was only one lady handling the register. Way to much time spent on her trying to contact someone to vouch for the person in front of me. I was about to vouch for him. She kept saying who else can we call. I was about to go crazy. On top of that there were people behind me feeling the same way. Then she started multitasking people who were just buying supplies. So confusing. Everyone up there was saying, are you talking to me. Anyway, y’all need to hire an extra person. I felt like it should not take a full hour when I had a reservation.

Need more staff during busy periods / times. The one desk clerk on duty at opening time on a Sunday was handing 2-3 customers at a time via computer, cell phone, walkie talkie and in person. All with a smile on her face and a great attitude. She ran (literally) to fetch a misplaced key and came pack short of breath and still smiling, despite impatient customers in line. I told her I didn't understand how she kept such a positive attitude. Sorry I didn't get her name, but she has been there for several years and has served us equally well in the past.

we arrived and our uhaul wasn't ready, our dolly wasn't in our truck, we picked up at "10am" on Thursday and returned it Friday at 5pm after receiving a nasty phone call from Elaine at the swannanoa river rd location, asking where the uhaul was because it was due back at 2pm (this was 4:30pm). When reserving the uhaul, the gentleman said not to worry that I was paying for 2 days and any time before 10am on saturday was fine. We rushed down to drop off and waited for close to 30 minutes to even "drop off" when my husband swept and cleaned the uhaul himself. we put more gas back in than what was given to us, and put a total of 12.2 miles on the uhal. We were originally charged $129 and the lady that helped at drop off said it would be less since we didn't use all the quoted miles also. the whole experience has been horrible, and we will not be using uhaul again. there were unauthorized charges on my card and poor customer service at the swannanoa river rd location.

The telephone and live chat customer service line was absolutely awful. Two days in a row I tried to contact the toll free customer service line. The first day I wa on hold for 24 mins and then was transferred to a different number put on hold again only to be told that in an automated message that that service line was closed for the day. The next day I had to start the whole process over, waited another 21 minutes on hold , during this time tried the online chat help which again I waited but was then given the other number. A very helpful service rep did answer the call I had placed to the main number and did not transfer me and was able to assist me. The wait time was unacceptable,

The representative told me I would get a 10% military discount at registration but the lady said she didn't believe me and said she would pull the call...got my bill and they didn't apply or contact me about it...

I try to avoid this uhaul site as often as possible. I've never been able to get in and out of there in a timely fashion and all of the employee appear so overwhelmed that they're not able to focus on doing any one job to its completion.
