The actual rental and return went well. However, I do have one big complaint. The location that I used does not offer any guest WIFI service. Its also very difficult to get any cell phone service there for texting or emails. This is actually a BIG PROBLEM. Why? First, it made it impossible for me to use the advance check-in service. Second, when I returned the vehicle, this made it very difficult to contact my wife or a friend to come pick me up - or even to try to use UBER. Its really RIDICULOUS that there is no Guest WiFi service at this location.

Uhaul did not tell me that they put a hand dolly and blanket pack in the back of the truck. They do this with zip ties and if you break the ties you pay for the equipment. The problem we I did NOT need or want either but they took up a 2x2x6 section of the truck. I specifically needed a certain size truck and this hindered my moving. I will never recommend Uhau to anyone.

Someone did not show up for work leaving one person to serve many morning customers. The man working did an excellent job but my recommendation would to have a backup person to help customers renting equipment. Still good experience at pick up and drop off. Thanks

Van rental was clean and well maintained, with no issues. Was ready to go when I arrived, but the wait in line is the only thing that took away from a excellent experience. Only one person was running the desk, and hooking up trailers, so it took me about 30 minutes to get the keys to the rental, which was frustrating since I did most of the paperwork online so I could save time at the desk.

Staff at this location was competent, but not particularly friendly or engaging, which didn't help when the cost tripled (my vehicle wasn't as to-ready as I thought) and what I expected to be a simple pickup spanned six hours.

Was supposed to pick up trailer at Bob Browns auto sales in candler nc at 3pm They close by 3pm with nobody informing me of that so was.closed!! Being from Indiana and needing to get home I drove 25 miles to another U-Haul store there was still open it's sad that oh 301 if they close at 3 and don't tell somebody that there's no follow-up call from that place so I drove to Asheville got the trailer I needed and paid the price just sorry that I had to waste another hour and a half to get something because a phone call or the website should not have given me an option to pick it up at their closing time words of wisdom even though the website gives you a time to pick it up does not mean that the dealership that you're picking it up at maybe open so I guess it takes extra phone calls to make sure to be taken care of especially if you're out of state

There should be a different way of doing thing once you return U-Haul. and not having to wait for you 'all to get done with one person checking back in. there was only 1 person at the front desk helping people rent U-Haul and 1 person checking people back in and he having to check U-Haul over and clean at the same time. you 'all need to know how to operator your website when telling people that they can go to the website and check back in and it does not work and employees not knowing how to use it either.

The first guy we talked to was great. He actually engaged in a conversation while getting everything ready. When we got out to the yard, there were other trailers blocking the one we rented in. We had to hook on to them and help move everything out of the way before we could get ours. The trailer we for was dirty and had loose gravel still in the floor of it. He did mark it as dirty so we didn't get charged which was nice. The worst part of the experience is when we returned the trailer. The showroom had no employees for at least 25 minutes. When some one finally showed up, he was completely rude and showed no interest in doing his job or even saying hello. Then he kept flipflopping back and forth between us and another customer. Then he said to make it easier on him, that I should've just checked in online. He didn't even spot me back when I parked the trailer even though he was standing there. Needless to say, I will more than likely find a different Uhaul or maybe switch to Budget.

The process flow for leasing is slow and needs to be improved. Additionally the area directly in front of the counters needs to be reorganize as there are boxes and other items in the way of the check out counters. Creates confusion for customers who are waiting.

First, you sent me to the wrong location. When they called this store with my reservation info, they were told that they had no trucks! I then called the national office to get this straightened out. So, when I showed up, I found this store understaffed with a long wait. Also, after leaving, I discovered that the store failed to put the blankets and dollies I ordered on the truck. Very dissatisfied with the service. Thank goodness the truck ran without any issues.

The truck had 1/2 tank when we were done with the truck. When we dropped off the truck, the personnel told us the credit we should have received should have happened at the first location. She also said the first person "probably didn't want the money coming out at their end". Whatever that means, I was extremely disappointed that they could not or would not work with us and give back the $11 credit. I guess we should only put in $10 of gas at a time, it that we would have known how much gas we would need anyway. I think uhaul should figure out the gas situation with a better policy so the customer doesn't get lied to.
