I'm sorry, but had I had a better experience when I moved out of the facility I might have rated this storage facility better. I was charged a late fee because auto pay did not renew when my month was up on 14 February. I had auto pay originally, but when they gave me a larger unit, something happened and the auto pay didn't transfer forward. The woman I guess manager that was called over to assist was unwilling to waive the late fee. It was only $15. You need a friendlier staff there that's willing to work with people and accept their mistakes even if it was a computer error. The customer isnt always right but they should leave the facility feeling like they were well taken care of. Neither one of us were at fault, but they should have been willing to make things right for me.

And I did not understand how the card swipe activates and deactivates the building access. Other than that, my first day went well.

Not realizing this immediately U-Haul instead of notifying me that my payment had not gone through. Other than a simple email, it wasn't until I walked up to the unit and there was a lock on it that I knew there was a problem. Call the office all they wanted was payment did not care about my issue or concerned about keeping a customer that has been paying on time for over two years. so we left, I do not appreciate the immediate lockout within 48 hours. We will not be using U-Haul ever again there are other options and we will happily go to one of those.

Would Lie to us about Maintenance airs and billing, would not Communicate with us and gave away a few of our units without consulting us.. She stated that this was because she was a business woman and she knew what she was doing. She was very unprofessional. Would not recommend this uhaul to anyone because of the new management

LAWRENCE A. | Overall ExperienceI had a bad experience with my reservation- I made my reservation 10 days prior - I made a phone call 4 days prior - for a 10x20 - I drove 300 miles from Fort Worth area to find out there was not a storage unit for me - very dissatisfied, frustrated, with the reservation process - however the lady at the Castle Hills facility tried to fix it - offered me a bigger unit 10x30 - it seems the online reservation and the reservation center in phenix are disconnected with the actual uhaul storage facilities- horrible experience- I desperately found online a competitor self storage to drive to - I heard the nice uhaul clerk talking on the phone with her manager about the problem and the “manager” blowed her off - so I didn’t have a move in - experience- mine was a - sorry your reservation is on the record-however you CAN’T move in experience-
