I wish they would have allowed me to stay I had all the money to pay back fee and everything but they still asked me to settle and move my things out. I am very grateful for that opportunity at the least. It is very annoying that the main number goes to corporate instead of them so it’s harder to get ahold of someone who actually works there. But when I wasn’t on hard times n had my unit it was ok except the occasional raise in rent that was annoying when I first got the unit 3-4 years ago there were a lot of friendly helpful people. My last visit not so much 2 guys behind the service desk were not eager to help anyone one being the assistant manager. One employee was trying to help me but didn’t have access he needed to, I had an appointment with the store manager but she had left when I arrived. Family emergency is what I was told and I understand but a courtesy call would have been nice considering I came all the way from Modesto. I was 10 minutes late and I did try to call but again number goes straight to corporate not the actual store, very frustrating. So I wasn’t able to make the manager aware I was just stuck in traffic at a long red light. Once I got there I had to wait 45 minutes before one of guys behind the desk decided to help me. But all n all everything got settled I was able to get what I could that day out of my unit.

I was not notified the forklift was unavailable for the movers to pack and load my ubox. I was told my lease would be closed out yet I was still charged for the unit. How do I get a refund?

Elizabeth G. | First ImpressionsThe staff was super friendly. There was a lot of things happening outside of their control when I was in, which is understandable. But when service is slow and customers are already irritated it's annoying to see the representatives having a bunch of sidebar conversations. Especially when it's the general manager doing it. I normally don't give honest critiqueas but it was cringey behavior. Other than that, pretty cool staff.
REGIS C. | First ImpressionsI would not give this storage unit even one star if I could. The customer service has been lacking and uninformative. Additionally, I was told incorrect information, and my unit was sold without just cause. The general manager of this facility will not return my phone calls or my text messages And I’ve had to obtain an attorney because my unit was sold. Lastly, it appears this office put false information in the system saying on the 17th I came in to pay the payment and it was sold the same day which is complete fabrication. I have witnesses and receipts that this was paid on June 11 and I went in there on June 12 , I have two witnesses that were with me that day and I also have documentation and receipts from U-Haul stating I paid it on 11 June before the auction to say that I’m devastated regarding my belongings being sold is an understatement but the service I am receiving, and the lack of accountability to this office is Atrocious
Lucretia H. | Overall ExperienceFor nearly a month I have been unable to access my storage unit after it was burglarized last month. No one seems empathetic to my issue. I've spoken to over 10 U-Haul employees and receive different information from each of them yet no one can seem to fix the problem why my unit #3113 is no longer accessible online for payment or in person for me to access my items in the unit!

William M. | First ImpressionsEverything’s was good. Although the elevator broke down before I could finish my move out. I told the staff, he said he would be up to check it when he finished with another customer. He never showed. When I went to the office to close my account with UHaul he never said anything to me except here’s you reciept. He was very rude. I’ll never rent again with a person like that who works for your company. I’ve rented uhaul for many years an 1 person being rude, showed me you no longer need my patronage. I’ll find another company to rent from when it’s time to move again.
