The problem is with the reservation communication -was told I would get a call when the hauler was available, but did not. Reservation got cancelled instead. The reservation specialist did not have access to the equipment availability info. This is a structural problem! Uhaul needs to locate equipment first, then reserve and take payment.

Quick and simple: - I had to rate this as a 5 because your questionnaire does not ask specifically for customer care and in THAT area, the employees are GREAT (especially one named Amado)! - UHaul is terribly understaffed for all the areas it services at one store (truck & storage rental/return, propane sale, and in-store item purchases) with 1 or 2 employees working them all - as the lines grow. - Here's what happened to me today: I was 4th in line and it took the young lady behind the counter 30 minutes to finish with customer #1. Customer #2 was returning a truck, and customer #3 only wanted to buy a box. #3 had to wait all that time to purchase one box. - Counter service has to go outside to check in returned trucks and pump propane; which leaves your customers standing around looking at each other because our business is inside the store....... - UHaul should really improve these internal processes; it's very irritating and is not the best use of your client's and employee's time. Thank you for allowing me to give my opinion!

After we dropped off the truck the morning of the third before the store opened, we believed that all went well. We had been charged around $65 in advance and we believed we would be getting a small refund. Almost 2 weeks after this, this location is now trying to charge our credit card almost $92. After many, many calls to try and figure out what was going on, we finally found out that this location believes that we still owe them money. We do not. After receiving the receipt, we found out we were being scammed. The mileage was a lie, we were paying for insurance that we did not want or ask for and we were paying for an extra day. All are wrong. U-Haul customer service could not and would not help us resolve all this. We were told to call the location. We did, we kept getting transfered to customer service and the location would not talk to us. This location needs to do the following: Stop charging our credit card Delete the insurance Delete the extra day Put the mileage where it should be, around 25 miles or so. After all this, we expect a refund of some sort. If this isn't done right away, we will take this situation to the state and federal authorities. Also, this card is currently turned off and as soon as the $45 charge is disputed, the card will be canceled. U-Haul will not get a dime from us and will not win this scam.
Very busy office with longer wait times and my phone number was no where correct. Guy in office very nice and informative. Offered rebate on gas but when delivered to final destination was told, this can only occur from pick up place

Well if I request 24 hours for a rental regardless if its a truck or trailer, I expect to pay only for 24 hours, not to be charged for anything more. The store is always short staffed, and employees hardly recognize your there. I don't expect to have the workers all over me and too much in my business, however, I would like to be acknowledged that I'm there. A simple "Hi, I'll be right with you" always goes a long way. Other than those few things, this location is always my go to spot for my truck and trailer needs.
It is so popular that you may have wait in line for service. I was able to go ahead and leave the key for them to check the truck back in because u payed with credit card which was very convenient for me. Thank you,
Please explain to check in after hours you must stay at the site next to the equipment and log into the site. You cannot simply go home and do it as the system will not allow you to complete the return

I used the rental for 25 miles and I put almost 2 gallons of gas in before I turned it in. I was then billed for 2.5 gallons of gas after I left. Besides the fact that I put in gas,how does 2.5 gallons of gas justify 25 miles, it doesn't.
There was a little bit of a wait do to them being busy, but workers were very friendly professional.
