Vers 20h j'appelle le service à la clientèle uhaul pour réserver un entreposage. Pas une seule fois la dame au téléphone ne m'a avisé que je n'y aurais pas accès après 22h. Alors que je lui avais demandé si ce soir c'était possible d'y aller. Arriver là-bas je vois qu'on m'a donné une place au 5e étage alors que j'ai bien spécifier avoir une dizaine de frigo et autres électroménager à y mettre. Aucun garde de sécurité. Aucune direction pour me situer afin de pouvoir accéder à l'entrée de l'immeuble. Plusieurs stations pour rentrer son code d'accès, seulement un m'identifie mais ensuite aucun moyen de savoir par quelle porte entrer parce que eux aussi on un code d'accès différent et je n'ai pas ce code. J'appelle au service client, il est maintenant passé 22h. Elle ne peut rien faire pour moi, ce qui n'est pas de sa faute. Elle me dit qu'un manager va me contacter. Cela fait 1 semaine toujours aucun retour. 258$ à la poubelle.

Definitely not the same experience I had a few years back when I had a unit there. To many questions asked about emergency contact. matthew w | First ImpressionsI would not recommend U-Haul Storage on Saint-Jacques. I first rented a storage unit at the U-Haul Saint-Jacques location. When U-Haul's 2100 Norman Street facility in Lachine offered a one-month free promotion, I decided to compare the two locations and eventually moved my belongings there. I was astonished to find that the Lachine facility provided a unit nearly three times the size for approximately the same monthly cost. The most serious issue, however, was a rodent infestation. When I emptied my storage unit, I found rodent droppings throughout the space and on my furniture. Several pieces of furniture and stored items had been damaged from rodents chewing on them. We also personally observed a mouse in the storage area, which disappeared into the partition wall separating the units. Our belongings were stored there for less than a year, yet the condition of some items was shocking. Everything had to be thoroughly cleaned because of the droppings and contamination. Another frustrating aspect is the late-fee policy. If your payment is due on the 1st of the month and arrives on the 2nd, a 20% late fee is applied almost immediately. I found this policy extremely harsh and customer-unfriendly. In contrast, the U-Haul facility on Norman Street in Lachine is night and day compared to Saint-Jacques. The Lachine location is newer, larger, cleaner, offers excellent customer service, easy loading and parking access, and was able to provide me with a storage unit nearly three times the size for essentially the same price, along with a promotional free month. Based on my experience, I moved my belongings out of Saint-Jacques and to Lachine. For anyone currently storing items at the Saint-Jacques location, I strongly recommend comparing the two facilities before committing long-term. The difference in cleanliness, convenience, and overall experience was substantial. I also have photographs documenting the condition of my storage unit and the rodent droppings found on my belongings, unfortunately I'm not able to post them.

DAVID S | Overall ExperienceRat infested, the manager is amazing the staff is great but the owner doesn’t invest in his facility to do extermination or renovations. It’s also clear that the staff need a better salary they are bombarded and exhausted and it’s clear the uhaul budget is discouraging. The owner doesn’t respect your contract neither they put your things at auction whenever they feel like it. I would never recommend anyone to rent from this UhAul. I ultimately feel bad for the staff and having to deal with the poor treatment.
