Cómo funcionan los comentarios de U-HaulMy experience with this facility was pleasant. The staff were very helpful and fixed the problems right away. Clean and easy to access, with facilities to park inside, and loading and unloading were easy.
marius n | Experiencia generalI got storage space, but when I checked room there was piller in corner that blocking almost 3 ft area , I asked in office for discount for that reason, they say can't get discount or if I change room there is no guarantee if no piller in new room. My question is if I am paying for 10x10 space, but if we calculate square feet up to roof it's blocking almost 15 feet space.

However 5 days after vacating (I vacated 2 days before my rent ended), I received a couple of emails indicating that my credit card has been charged for another month, the another email came to say that you also charged me late fees! how could that be? I vacated 2 days before end of my term. I called the office to see what happened and the person on the phone ended up shouting at me. U-Haul, that is unacceptable! There is a lady name Christina who is the cleaner, she is beyond kind and has amazing customer service. Whenever I went to my storage, I was hoping to see her because she is always smiling and even if you had a bad day, talking with her makes your day better. She was the reason I was going to leave positive review. However getting shouted at on the phone, when I am trying to understand why you are charging me after I vacated, and on top of that you charged me late fees, made me understand that the people behind the desk are pushed for sales no matter what. They want to bring the money while Christina, the cleaning lady is there to make everyone's day better, not because she has to, because that's just her. U-Haul, I stayed with you for almost a year. Everything went well. I was impressed about how clean everything was. But why you have employees like the one who I spoke with on the phone who ruin the positive experience as the customers leave? The emails I received indicating those unauthorized charges came from someone named Vanessa. I have a feeling that the person I spoke with is Vanessa because as soon as I mentioned that emails and those scam charges are sent by Vanessa, she started blaming the cleaning person and how the staff who is in charge of cleaning didn't enter data when they were supposed to. This is another red flag. No matter what, do not DO NOT throw your team member under the bus. U-Haul, if you want to make things better, train more people to be like Christina and train them not to shout at the customer, or throw their team members under the bus. I will be needing storage in a few month but I highly doubt I'll come back to u-haul. Your shouting employee ruined my day yesterday.

Roy S | Experiencia generalVanessa and her team at U-haul were … the best! Before I learned about U-Haul Milton, I had several units around Toronto at competing businesses. U-Haul is so much better than all of them! You have better prices, parking, access, facilities. Your carts are waaaay better, too! It just shows how much better U-Haul and Vanessa's team care about the little details. Also, sign-up was waaay better. I live all the way in Van, Texas. But next time I need a storage unit, I'll check out U-Haul first!

Maybe change the layout of the store to allow for better flow. Also, there is very little parking available by the store

selwyn t | Experiencia generalI had a very disappointing experience with Hailey at U-Haul who's working at reception I booked a storage unit online, and during the booking process, there was no clear information indicating that there would be a duct inside the storage unit. Because of this duct, the actual usable space in my storage unit is smaller than I expected. When I raised my concern, Hailey did not handle the situation professionally. She did not seem to have proper knowledge of how to approach or communicate with a customer. Instead of calmly listening and trying to explain the situation, she raised her voice in front of other customers, which made me feel embarrassed and humiliated. I explained that nothing during the online booking process mentioned the duct or that it would reduce the usable space in the unit. However, I was told that nothing could be done. I was offered an upgrade, but only if I paid additional money. What was even more disappointing was that I was given a paper and told to email the manager, Vanessa. Haley also told me that Vanessa would likely say the same thing and that it was basically my mistake. I believe customers deserve to be treated with respect and professionalism. Raising your voice at a customer in front of other customers and making them feel humiliated is not acceptable customer service. I hope management reviews this situation, improves communication regarding storage unit details during online booking, and provides proper customer service training on how to approach and deal with customers respectfully.
