I was ignored. My complaints not responded to. My repeat business not valued. My complaints were not dealt with. You t was totally assumed I WAS AT FAULT The equipment faulty. The equipment should never been rented. I was billed for faulty equipment. My issues never resolved. The position was the customer was at fault. Lying I should never have accepted equipment faulty at beginning. I only need equipment for local very short term thing.

It was extremely easy for us to pick up the Uhaul vehicle. However, the lever to open the back shutter was jammed due to snow and unfortunately wasted 1 hour trying to open it. finally we called the customer care and they asked us to put hot water on the lever handle. Wish we could get the refund for that particular hour where we did not use Uhaul vehicle and simply wasted time opening the shutter. Secondly, it was late when we went to drop off the vehicle we weren't able to find key drop box. Rest overall experience was excellent. Thanks.

Towing motorcycle for Christmas, cigarette butts, Dairy Queen spoons, wet gravel in trailer -fuckin disgusting. The kid was kind enough to sweep the trailer out, asked me to pull around front under the canopy for sweep at which time I drove over shards of glass -as this area was a fuckin mess too, shards of glass before a 14hour drive!! Have pics if you're interested. Obviously a team of individuals who don't give a fuck at the Mickey meth club of uhaul Milton

Would not recommend driving in winter, especially with snow on the ground. Vehicle only for dry and warmer weather use. At a minimum, the seasonal tire threading on the rental cargo van were well worn and should have been replaced at least 1-yr before. Driving on the highway even slowly at 70 km/hr the van is extremely slippery and sliding. Dangerous to manuever if neeed and changing lanes where there is snow the van slips slide to side. Had to reduce speed to 50-60 km/hr. Otherwise the van was well maintained inside/out. if not for winter safety I would rate it 4-stars.

I was told there was some fuel in the 15' truck which was also marked in the document handed over to me at the time of getting the keys but when I started the truck there was no fuel and the meter reading was at 'E' with prompt "0 miles to cover". This situation shouldn't happen.

Every time I had to interact with this business it turned into a frustrating, unsatisfactory experience. This began from the moment I rented my storage unit, when I didn't realize I needed ID, so I was refused the unit (even though I had just rented a U-Haul truck that I drove to the location). Being from out if town, I had no way to go home, get my ID,and be back before closing so I was forced to go home and rent the truck in the morning. Unfortunately the location I rented it from required the truck back in the morning, which I was unable to fulfill, and I was charged for an additional day. When I returned the next morning to rent my unit, I purchased a lock and provided a credit card for pre-authorized payments. A month later, a few days after the rent was due, I received an email advising that I had been charged an additional $15 because of my rent being late, I had no idea that there were any issues, yet I was suddenly charged for this? I promptly responded to the email advising that my rent couldn't be late as I was set up on pre-authorized credit card payments. I received an email back from manager Vanessa advising that my card was declined so that's why I was charged. I knew that there were no issues with the card so I asked Vanessa if we could confirm the expiry date to begin with. I didn't receive a response so about a week later I sent a follow-up email urging that I would like to get this resolved before the next payment was due, which also was unanswered. I then paid the overdue amount, including the $15 and emailed Vanessa yet again, to confirm my payment (through the card they were supposed to have on file) and asked her again to confirm the expiry date. She did not respond to this either. I then emailed U-Haul's general billing department, who I also never received a response from. As expected, a couple of days after the next payment was due, I received another message advising that once again, my rent was late and a $15 charge had been added to my account. I furiously responded once again, to please confirm the card information with me and expressed my displeasure that I was still dealing with this issue. Once again I received no response. A week to two weeks later I sent another email asking to resolve the issue or escalate it and once again, received no response. After a month, I was charged another $50 and had to escalate the situation myself to be resolved. This was dealt with to my satisfaction and I moved on, with no payment issues. It is unbelievable to me that a customer can be charged extra for no wrong doing (I gave the representative the card to enter for pre-authorized payments), and that they should have to waste so much time and effort to have the matter resolved. Unfortunately I wish that was also the last of my issues. In October I had to get some items from my unit. I arrived and discovered a chain on it, preventing me from opening it, with no notice or communication of why. I went all the way up to the office and was informed that my lock wasn't sufficient (that would be the same lock I purchased, for the unit, from U-Haul the day I rented the unit). I was provided a new lock and told someone would be out to remove the chain shortly. We waited 10 minutes and my husband finally went into the building and found someone who could do it. I was extremely bothered that I hadn't received any communication of this lock issue. I live in another city so it takes me a while to get there. What would I have done if I had shown up outside of business hours! Just be stuck without access? Why couldn't I have been notified of this issue through email so it could have been resolved? Why did I have to go through all this trouble, and why was the lock suddenly an issue when it wasn't when I bought it for the unit? Overall, any staff member I have dealt with has been fairly pleasant, with the exception of the manager Vanessa but I am so glad to have this entire experience behind me and never ever deal with them again.

The website asked for approval or disapproval of images and mileage of the vehicle but would not allow me to upload pictures to complete the process. I could only complete the check in by approving. I took pictures anyway for when I returned the vehicle. The haul agents were great and had no problems with the disputes. Get the system working if you want people using it.

The young lady at the front desk was more worried about texting on her personal phone than to give the correct information. I asked if they have a medium size trailer and after a couple minutes she asked for my driver license… I assume that she found one. I paid 30 plus dollars, she told me head to the back. No instructions, no thank you, that was my interaction! Got to the back, I realized that she gave a double axel trailer! I got very upset and the gentleman that was helping me out to hook up the trailer said that he could fix it, it was Very nice of him! But I had to go. Anyway,….not sure if anyone is going to read this! Too big of a company. Gracias

Pathetic, did everything online including payment and express check in and still have to wait inline with the walk-in people. After standing inline for 1/2 an hour they sent me out to get my trailer, it's not there. I go back inside they say they don't have my reserved trailer and to take a smaller trailer, I can make 2 trips WTF. They actually sent me out KNOWING my reserved trailer wasn't there, this isn't the first time this happened either, UHAUL is just a complete shit show, I'm never going back, I'll look elsewhere.

Dedication like this is unheard of in most establishments today! Ms.Sirizzotti empathatetic manner give me the peace of mind that I needed! Because she was calm I regain my sense of calm, since I was about to leave your parking lot not know what the day will bring! I was able to accomplish all that I set out to do! With no incidence a safe journey and with a happy out come! Ms.Sirizzotti taught me one lesson there is still some goodness left in the way people treat others! The experience reserving storage was a nightmare. Was given partial information in bits and pieces leading to me coming back three times and making one phone call just to be able to reserve. Eventually I reserved online, something the first employee never said was an option and kept insisting, with an angry voice, that I have to come in. When what he could have said is I can book online and come in to check in. Each time of the first two times I came in I was surprised with a new requirement to get storage. The staff made it look and feel so complicated when in actuality it is not. Also the locker had a bit of trash in it and when I asked for it to be cleaned was told someone will be right there. An hour later no one came...very unpleasant experience trying to book and move in FROM CUSTOMER PERSPECTIVE. I'm sure staff will think otherwise

I booked a cargo trailer and it didn't work so I cancelled that and was going to rent a locker but cancelled that to now I'm getting an email saying I owe $55.77 when I never even used anything! Within one week I've been threatened with being sent to a collection agency. Horrible services!

Initially we were assigned a locker on the 2nd floor. Took our furniture up to this location however the locker was already taken. Were reassigned a locker on the 1st floor as nothing left on the 2nd floor. Despite the fact that my phone number, email and credit card were all on file, I found a "denied access for lack of payment" on my locker in July. A past due notice was sent to my daughter in Burlington not me in Milton. Then a "pre-lien" notice was sent to my daughter. Something obviously went wrong. The staff corrected the situation but said that these notices originate in the USA.

One male staff would not identify himself although we did know his name. Through errors of staff we received 2 default payment notices even though they were given a credit card for monthly payments. Then our locker was tagged for non payment. Noah, the unidentified staff, was unapologetic for the situation and spoke to us with attitude. Seems like no one is fully trained and really know what they're doing. . Again we notified staff we were cancelling and moved our items out on Saturday September 10th. We were assured a payment would not go on our credit card. Of course we received a notice our card was being charged.WHO IS MANAGING THIS UHAUL? WE WOULD NOT USE UHAUL AGAIN AND DEFINITELY NOT REFER TO AMYONE.

Wish you were given the option of a couple of lockers to choose from. So if you have extremely heavy you could be on the 1st floor or if you have limited mobility. Other than that it was a great experience!

We've had items stolen from the garage. The organization of the vehicle storage is basically non-existent. Customers and employees park vehicles in aisles, in spots not assigned to them. In can be impossible to retrieve your vehicle at times, because others have blocked the aisles or parked in front of your spot. We continue to be charged for this service months after leaving.

Not particularly friendly or efficient I paid a few days late because I was out of province. When I returned a week after paying I was locked out even though I had paid. I came into the office to inform them that I had vacated my first lockup and the account was not closed and I got another bill. I came into the office to inform them that I had vacated my second lockup and I subsequently received another bill! My code was changed without my knowledge by one of the staff who denied it.

Amazing staff always so friendly went above and beyond, the girls at the front where great explains how to access my unit made sure we where comfortable with it, even walked down to the unit with me to help me find my unit. When I first moved into the unit, I was moving my stuff at the beginning of the pandemic. The staff, gave me the wrong information and a few mistakes with my file. When I had spoken to a staff, which turned out to be the manager and she was very rude and brushed me off. I later came to visit my unit and found my lock was removed and told I wasn't paying for and couldn't access my unit. The staff made my transition to move my stuff a very stressful experience when it didn't need to be. My experience with U-Haul at the beginning was not well received, but at the end it was agreeable.

I would never recommend uhaul to anyone. I went in 2 days prior to get a quote on a truck. Was given number and returned only 2 days later to book. They wouldn't accept the original quote. And charged me an extra $1500 for the same trip. I asked them why. All they could say was prices change. $1500 is a bit extreme of a price change. So now instead of just driving to my location and dropping the truck off. I have to drive an extra 2 hours. To get the truck to its drop off point. This is bull crap. And on top of that I received a phone call saying no trucks are available and I may have to drive 2 hours to get one….. I don't have this time or money for fuel. This company is an absolute joke.

Very positive experience. Rented locker for almost 4 years, visiting several times to retrieve and/or add items to unit, and eventually, after a many trip process, emptying out locker. Every visit facility was very clean, very well lit, and very easy (to navigate, and having proper equipment available to me). Staff was super friendly and helpful both over the phone and while on premises. I have had to use storage solutions many times, and this by far has been the most positive.
