I notified the storage facility that I had moved out 3-16 2023 . I was charged in April for an additional month. It took till two days ago to resolve this issue!

TRACI N. | First ImpressionsMy worst U-Haul experience ever, and I've had a few. I arrived at this facility with a truck and a reservation for a storage unit. Even though there was still 30-mins before the official closing time, the staff seemed more interested in closing shop and going home than completing my reservation and getting me access to the unit. This was finally done, but they then discovered that they had no lock to issue me. They were all out. Finally, a spare lock was found, and I was given an access card and directions to the off-site storage facility. I arrived there and used the card to gain entry to the loading dock. I was unable to get the dock sliding door to raise so that I could unload the truck. After repeated attempts, I tried a second door. Same result, the door refused to raise. It then appeared the the facility was going into lock down due to operating hours restrictions. I decided to leave the facility and wait until morning to unload the truck. I returned at 8:00am the next morning, only to find the same problem existed with the dock doors. I called the office and was asked if it was ok to be placed on a brief hold. 20-minutes later, I hung up and called again. This time my call was routed to a headquarters office. I explained my plight to the agent, who then asked me to hold while so called the store manager. She returned shortly and advised that she too was unable to get through. I was placed on hold gain. This time she returned to tell me the manager was coming to the facility to investigate. The manager finally arrived, and we figured out that only 2 of the four dock doors were functional. We moved our truck to one of the working doors and finally got our truck unloaded. I was now ready to return the truck. I drove to the truck rental return area. I exited from the truck and looked around and at first saw no one. Then I spot an agent exiting a return area garage, with his head down, apparently texting on his phone. Never once did he look up or acknowledge me until I spoke to him. He never asked me anything and only spoke when I asked questions about the rental return process. I was finally reasonably sure that the truck would be properly checked in and my receipt would be emailed. There was even more to this saga that I'm excluding, but you get the idea of how frustrating this ordeal was for me. I will never, under any circumstances use this facility again. Not for truck rental and certainly not for storage rental. It is a total and complete failure at customer service.

JASMINE M. | First ImpressionsThe storage is open at the top which allows all sorts of rodents and bugs to get in your stuff. As I was moving out, there were four dead baby mice and one big mouse! I had to literally empty all of my stuff before I took it into the house to ensure no rodents were in my things! I'm not sure what can be done about this, but something needs to be done!

Taymiyah M. | First ImpressionsIt would have been excellent if I was told I needed to go by the main office prior to showing up at the storage with the truck and crew only to find out there was no one at the storage facility to give me access or my space. I had to go to the main office to complete the contract which wasted a lot of our time.
