Andrea S | Overall ExperienceI got a storage unit. When I sent to move in, there was a forklift parked in front that was dead. They couldn't move it. The office moved me to another unit - a smaller unit that was only 6'h. A smaller unit. I was in that unit for 1 week before moving out. During that week, I kept getting calls from the office telling me I had to come back and change the lock. I had to use their lock. I was coming in that day to move out anyway, so when I got there, I explained that I couldn't use their lock because the door handles had been pried back so far that their lock would not fit.> I borrowed a hammer from the warehouse guy and tried to fix it (he was too busy). It still didn't work out. I moved out and it's been empty since. The week before the unit payment was due, I submitted my move-out notice, saying I didn't want to be charged. I was ignored. No response at all. I called the customer service number a few days later, and they sent a message to the Manager at the facility to get back with me. They still didn't. I got a text and email saying the rent was due, and there would be a late fee on top of it. I called again, and the two ladies I spoke with apologized for my hassles (they never gave me any money back after they moved me to a smaller unit either). Now, I have just been charged the entire amount, plus the late fee and some additional fees. I am furious. I 100% believe the Manager intentionally waited to call me back (and still hasn't) so they could not only charge me, but also charge the late fee. I will be getting a refund for this, even if I have to file a complaint with the state for negligence on U-Haul's part. I have every document and all backup to prove everything I said. In addition, it's written on the file. Not only will I never rent a unit from this place again, but I will go out of my way to persuade others not to do it either. The management at this location is extremely unprofessional and unethical. She should be fired for how she manages this business and drags UHaul's name through the mud. I've been a loyal UHaul customer for years, and have 2 double-truck rental coming up next month. I WILL NOT be using UHaul again.
SCOTT W | Overall ExperienceMy storage unit was not clean. There was a small amount of trash (rags, packaging for a lock, broken hangers). I was also told there "should be a lock in there" but there wasn't. I had to go to the office to get one (free). I noticed other units had a green "customer ready" tie on it but mine did not. The drive through storage was cramped. There were trailers parked in the unloading zone on both of my moving days so I had to block the entire drive through which caused some upset customers.
Luis R | First ImpressionsNot really sure about this , during the time of storing a lock was put on my storage for non payment which was not true due to the fact the payment was automatically debit, then to go and empty my storage, was charged additional payment when the following payment was due, my items were already removed...which cause me to have to wait 72hrs ..or longer for monies to be refunded back into my account....

Tammy H | First ImpressionsThis is not the first time I have used this location for storage. The place is a zoo! Not organized chaos, just pure chaos. This time when I moved out the manager walked my 2 storage units said yes you are good you have a zero balance and stated he would close the account but gave me nothing as proof they were closed. Turns out they were not closed and I was bill $300 in rent I didn’t not owe. They do not answer the phone at this location and when you do get there in person the line takes hours to get to the one person working and they get interrupted often. This experience has been a nightmare! I will not be using haul in the future. There are to many other options to chance a repeat of this unacceptable situation. I am done with U-Haul!
