Aungelique Vickers is THE rockstar at this location. I rent frequently (at least twice a month) but she is the only staff member that recognizes me (with a mask even) and quickly & efficiently helps me. In fact, she is the quickest at navigating the entire system of any employee. Which is lovely for a customer that is very familiar with the process (no time wasted!). She has the best attitude and goes out of her way ton help, even when the location is extra hectic on Saturday mornings. THANK YOU Aungelique!!

Man look! Aungelique gave respectful, courteous service. She was there when I checked in and took care of the issue at hand about my frailer being returned and not checked in. EVERYTIME I COME TO THIS LOCATION this young lady is always giving excellent customer service. She has always been all around the board! This is my go to spot for trailers to get in and out. When she's there I know I'm going to get great service! Give her the gold award. Y'all was packed when I returned she was doing two rentals, fluent, and patient then came outside to check to see if my trailer was on the lot where I dropped it. From the get go, the man getting me set up with my truck was not helpful. Very unprofessional as well. After navigating to find my truck with no direction from the man checking me out, I take off. Then remembered the furniture pads I rented never got put in the truck. I pulled over to look in the back and see there is a HUGE HOLE AND BENT UP RIM. I drove this thing about 500 yards down the street and had it been me that did it, believe me I would have owned up to it. Fact of the matter is that they literally didn't check anything on this truck before putting it back into service and could have gotten me into a huge mess. I was not happy about the service here at all.

I did not reserve a dolly, but one was inside the truck I rented. I assumed it went with the truck. When I returned the truck I was asked if I used the dolly. When I said yes I was told that would be an additional $7 charge. I feel I was set up by U-haul and they scammed me out of $7. In the future you need to be clear that there is equipment in the truck that is not to be used, or don't put it in the truck.

The front desk associate was on her stuff. But, her support staff were incredibly disorganized and left very little to desire. I got there 5 minutes early, and didn't leave until 50 minutes later, even though I had made an online reservation. Please either fix your process, or your staff.

I scheduled this truck a week or 2 in advance for pick up from the store in Richardson. When I got there to pick it up first thing when they opened they didn't have the truck I needed and sent me to the Garland store. When I got there they had the truck but instead of doing a normal walkthrough to assess the damage they made me take pictures of every little ding on the truck and then upload them. Then the pictures wouldn't upload at all so I had to call customer service which kept me on hold for 45 minutes. Because of this I was held up on my moving for multiple hours. Not a great experience.

I returned my u-haul two hours before my required time I even went inside the store to ensure there was nothing else I needed to do. It took this location four hours before they put it back into the system that resulted not only in them charging me a $44 fee but caused me to receive a $35 overdraft fee from my bank. I called to rectify using the 800 number. The person I talked to helped me with the problem and told me I would be contacted with in 72 hours. Two hours later I received a new email with a recipe stating my actual drop off time. And then another email thanking me for bringing up my concerns and that I would be refunded the $44. And that was it. No apology for the money and time they cost me, or even an acknowledgement of the mistake they had made. I find this extremely unprofessional and it has left such a bad taste in my mouth that I would not use u-haul services again. There is still an epidemic happening and the fact that they were so careless with my money is unacceptable. I truly hope this hasn't happened to anyone before but I can't imagine this was a one time thing.

I feel ripped off by your advertised rates on you website and even on the side of the vehicle of 19.95 per day. I returned the vehicle on the same day and was instead charged 79.99. This is a deal breaker, and I will never use Uhaul again.

when the website says there is one available at a location near you, have it actually available. When they call to change locations on you, allow the customer to return it to a location near to them. Also no receipt provided at return. The location is difficult to get into as the signs are deceiving on where to turn. Parking lot is hectic. Employees were not friendly. The trailer rails were bent pretty bad. So 30 miles out of our way each time to pick up and return was not convient.

Only issue i had is that the vehicle didn't have Cruize control. That needs to be addressed because the person driving has to constantly look at the speedometer to maintain the speed limit. Weight, wind , traffic and hills affects a vehicle of that size differently than a car. It wasn't easy in heavy traffic and maintaining the speed limit and keep your eyes on the road. Im lucky I didn't get a ticket, especially in a 55 mph zone where i was running 45 or 65 most of the time.

My contract got lost initially and turned into a whole mess of phone calls and lack of information. When I was able to make it in person to grab my things out, my unit door was open and things were missing out of it. Two representatives knew about this and upon me describing who helped me get the unit, they both said “ooooh yeah...that guy got fired” and acted like this has happened before. They didn’t offer any help as far as reporting anything.

The service I received was the worst experience I will never rent from uhaul again my locker was also broken into when I reported the incident to uhaul I never heard back. I was harassed if I was late on my payment even a couple of days even though I had the storage unit for over a year. Every time I went to the storage unit in person I was greeted by the worst customer service known to man with angry attitude workers it’s just disgusting. Uhaul is around more and may be more convenient but that shouldn’t be a reason to treat customers terrible.

The credit card system never worked for me. It worked fine for the person in front of me, but on more than one occasion I was told to leave and bring cash to pay for the storage unit.
