The check in 24/7 app is supposed to be easy. I had issues with it because it would not move forward in certain sections. I had to call in and have it checked in. The first person I got on the phone might need to look for other employment. She is not happy in her job. I hung up and called back and got a fabulous person who was a delight to deal with. She had me take pictures and email them to her so we could get the vehicle checked in. She was fantastic. However the next morning I called in because I received an email indicating that the vehicle had not been checked in. I called the location and was told she saw the notes and that it would be checked in. I received another email later that evening indicating that it had STILL not been checked in. So the point is....somehow you guys need to fix that. Not a great experience wondering if I were going to be charged for not being checked in.

I confirmed the reservation twice by phone with uhaul. The pickup point in Gus Thomason did Not have it when i arrived. I had to call corp. Again for them to find a truck. I was going one way to Kaufman but later received the drop off instructions for corsicana??? Thats a 100 mile round trip from my destination!!! Really?? Guaranteed reservation DID NOT WORK. DROP OFF LOCATION WAS STUPID.

Do not like your new system were you force me to use my phone. It's not simple and works poorly. Can go back if you miss something. Had to go back in to report. Whole thing took twice as long.

After paying the worker needs to be more helpful and informative about the equipment. I had to go back in the office two times in the pouring rain to ask questions, things she failed to tell me.

I was overcharged about $25.00 on an rental in which I had a confirmation number. I was quoted twice the total would be $71.90. I went to pick up the truck and the cashiers charged me $95.00. Also, I paid for an appliance dolly and a regular dolly, but I was only given an appliance dolly. UHaul owes me a refund. I probably wont be doing business with UHaul in the future.

We have been over charged have contacted customer service so many times and finally got an email sent to the GM but haven’t received a response. Our mileage used was under our estimated amount and they have charged us over , also our gas was returned with the same amount that was given to us but yet they charged us gas. We returned the truck and was Not able to use the app to find my account so accordingly to them they had to charge us an extra 2 days when the truck was at the station the whole time, please check the cameras of us returning it and we have pictures of everything. My card was over charged $90.00 that put me in over draft moving is already stressful and this has happened, we are just looking for honesty. Please contact us back with a response y’all have both my contact numbers on file.

It might be nice to mention that if you’re late by x amount of time, your reservation will be cancelled. After it was cancelled, I tried to reserve a new truck. She told me I couldn’t, there was absolutely nothing. So I called another location. She said she could get me the size truck I needed; it happened to be at the location I was already at. She reserved it, I went in and showed her the reservation. She said they still didn’t have anything and I asked her if she was sure. Oh, unless someone just dropped one off? If I hadn’t said anything, she wouldn’t have checked and I wouldn’t have had a truck to rent. The guys pulling up the truck were lost too. They didn’t even know there was a dolly already in the truck when they came to give me one and the paperwork shows I was charged for two when I only rented one.

Had a bad experience during rental. Attendant helping was training and took almost 45 minutes to get a trailer rented, and when I went to get it hooked up, it was the wrong type of trailer. When I went back to get it corrected, the other attendants treated me as if I did something wrong and did not apologize even once. The people helping me outside with the trailer hookup were excellent and were quick, courteous and knowledgeable. I know mistakes happen, especially during training, but the others should notice when a trainee is taking an excessive amount of time with a customer and help the trainee. Also, they would benefit from some customer service training in order to take ownership of mistakes, even if they aren't their own. Since this is the only large U-Haul store near me, I have no choice but to go there, but I will be looking for other alternatives with other companies before I go back to this location.

I was told my the staff during my reservation process and while picking up the truck that I would get my first month free for storage. However, when I arrived with my belongings up the facility, I was informed that promotion was no longer valid and I would not receive a month free until the 2nd month. That was an additional $109 on top of the truck rental. I am not happy with that at all.

Check In was slow, the two ladies at the check in desk were more interested in talking about other employees than helping the customers in front of them. The first trailer they assigned me was not rental able. Security chains were broken, and jack was not working. The second trailer was not clean, due to the amount of time it was taking to get a trailer rented. I accepted the trailer in that condition and clean it our when I got home. Returning the trailer was also a hassle. When I arrived there was no one in the return area, two men drove up in a truck and pointed to a row of trailers like the one I had and said put it there. I pulled up expecting for them to unhook the trailer but they stayed back where they were. So I got out a unhooked the trailer. The finally pulled up and I asked if they needed any thing else and they said no your good. Basically just poor service all the way around.
