Given the wrong storage unit and nothing else was available. Had to rent from Public Storage. They were able to accomodate my storage needs.

Gregory G | Online Move InI reserved a 8x8x6 unit online but the unit i was assigned was less than half that size and had a pole going through the middle of it. There were no units of the correct size available. The staff was kind and sympathetic but this totally screwed my move and resulted in extra expense and stress for me. Very disappointed and will be avoiding uhaul whenever possible in the future. Oh, and the app crashed for several hours when I was trying to move in

ANGELA M | First ImpressionsThe automatic door to storage facility wasn't operable—it would only open automatically from the inside. As we were emptying our locker, we continually locked ourselves out each time we exited to load the truck. Each time we had to walk back to the office to ask them to open the door. Finally, I put a small object in the path of the door to keep it permanently open so we could finish up. At some point near the completion of our work, a U-Haul employee appeared in the distance shouting at us to take the object away or else it would destroy the doors and he'd have to charge me $5,000.00 to fix it. He didn't approach us and ask us to please remove the object—he screamed from a distance. Finally he said that staff could keep the doors open permanently while we worked, but we were finished. I am grateful for U-Haul's offer of a free month of storage, but the attitude of the employee spoiled the otherwise positive experience.

There are always too many UHauls blocking the storage door making it difficult to load and unload. If it wasn't for some of the staff members there, I would write a negative review on Google.
Michael M | Overall ExperienceOnly problem was I called a couple times, and was on hold for a long time...so I ended up calling the main 800 #. I think perhaps they just might be understaffed at this location....but, in person, Victoria was a big help.
