I had an absolutely wonderful experience with the employee who helped me with my storage rental. I was in the middle of a stressful, time-sensitive move with movers on the clock, and she immediately understood I was under a time crunch. We ran into some issues with the system verifying my identification and had to try it several times. Instead of letting that hold everything up, she stayed patient, worked through the issue, manually verified my information when necessary, and ultimately got everything working. She handled it quickly while staying thorough and ensuring everything was entered correctly. What impressed me most was how proactive she was. I didn’t have to ask her to go above and beyond, she recognized the situation and did everything she could to make the process easier for me, including helping me with an option that made the move much more manageable financially. Throughout the entire process, she was incredibly kind, gracious, compassionate, and professional. I was having a stressful day, and the way she treated me genuinely made a difference. She is an amazing representative of U-Haul and absolutely deserves recognition. If she isn’t already in a leadership position, she should be. She has exactly the kind of professionalism, problem-solving ability, initiative, and compassion you want in someone representing your company. Thank you so much for making a very stressful move so much easier. I truly appreciate everything she did for me.

Cómo funcionan los comentarios de U-HaulI've had a couple of storage units over several years, definitely too long. I've had great people at the uptown location over those years. I did close out my last unit yesterday and have taken a lot of memories with me to my new place.
Candice R | Experiencia generalStorage locker was clean upon move in and staff were helpful.
Wu H | Mudanza en líneaUnit flooded and ruined my items and I am not receiving help to fix it
NICHOLAS T | Experiencia generalSandra and the other workers at the U-Haul facility were very kind and great to try and do the best they could with the circumstances. HOWEVER, the systems failed mid way through the morning of my scheduled move in - line out of the door, no trucks, no ability to do anything in the system, and NO help from corporate or management. Absolutely disgraceful that you would treat your workers this way in the middle of Chicagos busiest rental season. Very happy with Sandra as she helped us even past the time she logically should have spent on the issue as well as I’m sure she helped others just the same. U-Haul should focus more on fixing their systems and the way they run things to support their employees rather than pocketing money and throwing their employees to the wolves with no help at all.
Annette M | Primeras impresionesUnfortunately this is probably the worst moving experience I’ve had. U-haul changed my truck pick up location last minute so I had to made new transportation arrangements. Then when I arrived at the storage location, it took an hour plus to get checked in because there was a system issue which kept throwing invalid email errors. We had to try multiple ways and made new reservations and now I’m charged $185 because there was no way to apply the one month free promo with truck rental deals. I was adviced to follow up on those charges over the phone but I kept getting put on hold. Because of the delay in checking in I had to keep my movers for an extra ~2 hours I didn’t planned for. The only upside was the patience of the U-Haul attendant Mike at the Broadway location and the flexibility of my movers. Had they had another appointment right after mine, I would’ve been screwed.
Lynda B | Mudanza en líneaThe daytime Facility manager Ms. Sandy was very good at her job!!
Ronald F | Primeras impresionesMany thanks to Sandra. Mikhail and Ieasass for all of their help with the move in and the locks.
