In trying to find a drop off location in Chicago, the nearest one I could find on the website was on the other side of the city. Fortunately, I saw this location 3 blocks from where I was dropping off my load. While they told me I could not let me drop off the trailer there, I called the office where I picked up the trailer and they changed the order. I am grateful that I didn't have to drive across the city, but I think the Uhaul website screwed up in not showing me the possible drop off locations in the Chicago area.

Automating the process of pick up and confirming condition etc is awesome but there is a flaw in your app for uploading pics---3rd time I have experienced this. If you have a problem and need to upload a pic confirming the real gas tank, for example, the app doesn't allow you to click and upload despite there being a button to do so

Although it indicated that the gas tank was at full and I was asked to return it that way, I only drove 5 miles and ended up needing to add 4 gallons of gas. Clearly, the person before me did not return the vehicle with a full tank. A reimbursement would be appreciated.

I used this company. A lot lately. For truck rental and Storage services. For the last 3 to 5 years more often.. from the changes of life. The staff was. Pleasant. and Enjoyable to meet. I was having a difficult start in my day. I came to return my truck. rental . The staff was so uplifting. They have the up most Respect. For. Our service. Every rental situation: they address. Guy at the checkout desk isn’t rude but is pretty close to it. Not great customer service. The guy I got the truck from was super friendly and made the entire experience 10x better. The truck was caked with mud but the inside was mostly clean.

One of the employees made inappropriate comments to my wife. His name was Christopher, I believe. He assisted getting us furniture pads and took our keys when we returned the vehicle. You should be ashamed employing someone who treats women that way. I will not be using U-Haul in the future, and I have no issue speaking frankly about my experience to others.

- Reserved vehicle was not available. It took us more than 30mins to get a vehicle because what we reserved was not available. - We gas up before returning the vehicle, but we were still charged for gas. We put 2gal of gas, and our mileage usage is only 7mi. The meter representation in paper is confusing and does not represent an exact replica of what is in the vehicle. The gas level of the van given to us is less than what they indicated in the contract (at least 2 gal less). Uhaul personnel should have indicated the gas level accurately and not pass that responsibility to customers coz they check the van and I’m sure they should have seen that. - We returned the vehicle 2hrs earlier than expected return time. We were checked in by their personnel and was told we should receive a check in confirmation and a receipt in 10mins. 3 hrs passed and still no receipt. I called uhaul and turned out, vehicle is still showing as out. I called 2x before getting a call back from the location where I got my rental van. Store confirmed that vehicle is still showing as out in their records and will have to check if it was returned. Store called again after another 15 mins and sent me a receipt. This is the 2nd time I rented a vehicle in this location. And in both instances, returned vehicle was not reflected as returned or checked in in their system even if it was returned. By the way, for the 1st instance this happened to me, they charged me an extra day which is a big hassle to dispute. Always a very bad experience in this store.

The location was fine. The staff was really nice and accommodating. Your systems, on the other hand, were a complete mess. I had a reservation for 7:30am. The online pick up didn’t work. I tried for an hour, called the 800 number and ended up leaving without a truck. Came back at 10:00am when the location I originally booked at was open. Again, couldn’t help me. Systems were down. I finally got a truck at 11:30 by going 3 miles out of the way, which I then had to pay for based on your mileage charges. I was scheduled to be done by 12:00pm. I’m the end it was 5 hours later. I highly doubt I will ever use your company again after the experience yesterday.

I call the office because the millage and the gasoline is not correct and the assistant outside show how todo everything but he doing wrong.and want I return the pick charge me for gasoline and I put gasoline in the pick up. I call the and not help me to fix the problem.

have enough staff to give vehicle rented to customer. I waited for 30 minutes for a staff member to bring me my rented vehicle. The only staff was filling propane tanks for a customer which i watched in frustration as my time was wasted. Have enough staff available to give waiting customers their vehicles.

I rent from UHaul on a regular basis, and this is by far my favorite location. Great attendants, well maintained equipment, and the customer service/experience is superb. Using the 24/7 mobile checkout for the first time was a breeze. I will definitely be back.

This was the second time I returned a truck and got charged extra for something after just dropping it off. The first time you charged me for two gallons of gas when I drove it a total of five miles. This time I got charged a cleaning fee when I moved a few outdoor patio furniture. The truck wasn't dirty. I will not rent from this location again.

I used a storage unit for two months and when I came to empty it out a I found out I had a few rats in my unit that used the bathroom and chewed on my stuff. I do have a picture of the droppings and
