At U-Haul, we simply provided the online Box Exchange and a "take a box/leave a box" bin in every one of our company owned locations. Yes! Although to be more specific, U-Haul customers offer free boxes to other customers. At U-Haul, we simply provided the online Box Exchange and a "take a box/leave a box" bin in every one of our company owned locations. We recommend measuring your chairs to determine the box size you will need. The best guess would be that each chair would need a Large Wardrobe Box, but it is possible they may even be too big for that box. Use plenty of tape. The box can hold up to 65 lbs. You may also want to consider a double walled box. Our Dish Barrel Box is roughly the same size but has a weight limit of 120 lbs.
