I was over charged and my $100 credit was never applied. I'm not sure if this is location specific. I have contacted customer service to dispute the charges numerous times and no one has corrected the charges. Their billing and customer service line is very ineffective.
Have more appliance dollies available! Enough for every truck you rent! I imagine you make more money if renting these, then you do the trucks, and not having them makes moving much more difficult. If I knew they would not be available, I would've rented a truck elsewhere. It is a vital tool in a whole house move! Very disappointed in the lack, and even came during the week to try and reserve one & was told they wouldn't know until the day of my rental if they would have one. There were two other customers waiting with me for the same item.

I would like to compliment Matthew Coriolan on his excellent customer service. There were some challenges with my rental (no furniture dolly, gas tank different than contract, etc and he was so kind and customer focused to help as much as possible. He seemed to be very busy (this location may be understaffed??) but never rushed me and wanted to make sure that everything was satisfactory. He deserves kudo's and a raise! Regards, Julie
When I arrived, i had to wait while the attendant and a customer were having a personal conversation. It must have gone on for 10 minutes or more , which is a long time when someone is waiting and the conversation has nothing to do with the rental. Every time I thought they were wrapping up, the customer kept talking and the attendant responding. Finally I had to ask if i could be helped picking up the truck.
Beer cans rolling from under the seat. Back door broken had to stop and get it fixed at the uhaul in the middle of my move. Roaches crawling in the cab of the truck. I rented 2 trucks from 2 different uhaul places In 2 days and mistakingly wrote this review about the uhaul store on 436 in winter park . It was for the orlando ave store on 1792 in winter park
Fast service. I placed the order online and the truck was waiting at the appointed time for pick-up. This location is convenient and well stocked with all the supplies you would need for moving.
Location was hard to find
Even though I had reserved my trailer at this location, when I arrived I was told that the trailer I had reserved was not available and that I had to go to another location to get it. I did not receive any advance notice that my reservation had changed and it was a huge waste of time.
This was not my preferred pickup location, nor was it the pickup location told to me by the UHaul representative who called me the night before the scheduled pickup. I was told the truck would be available at 9:30 am. I had reserved a 10 ft truck one way from Oviedo FL to Jacksonville FL. When I called the designated pickup location on Sat morning about 8:30 am, I was told that the truck had not arrived yet. By 9:30, the truck still had not arrived, and the lady I spoke with (Helen) said she had tried to contact the person who had the truck with no response. Helen suggested that I contact the UHaul center across the street to see if they had a truck, which I did. I spoke with Matthew, who told me that the only truck available for one way rental was a 26 ft truck (way bigger than I needed), but I could have it for the same rate as the 10 ft truck. By 12 noon, the 10 ft truck had still not arrived at Helen's location, so I accepted Mathew's offer of the 26 ft truck. Both Matthew and Joshua at the UHaul location were helpful and sympathetic about the situation, but it seemed there was little they could do about it (beyond their control).
Make sure that if someone rent an equipment it is inside the truck , so it avoid delays or in my case I was on limited time . So I had to proceed without it which aggravated my stress .
After a thorough light check we realized the wiring harness on the 2010 Honda Odyssey i owned wasn't operating correctly. The tech checked and checked, he came to the observation that the harness, wasn't properly installed. He quickly went to on line confirmation, made the appropriate correction and we were good to go. Odd part was i recently had Uhaul install the hitch, and lighting harness, rented a 5x8 from Uhal in Jacksonville and drove to Michigan City Indiana. When i rented the 5 x 8, went through the light check i got a good to go. Gremlins?
The customer service rep who helped me was excellent and he tried to fix the problems caused by the location not having the main accessories I needed to have a safe move. Unfortunately, the issues could not be fixed and I had to move using 6 blankets instead of 36 (resulting in many scratches on my previously nice furniture), and I had additional expenses to move a piano because they didn't have my 2 furniture dollies. This is my 2nd move in 9 weeks using 2 different U-Haul locations. For the life of me, I don't understand why the items I preorder and confirm are never there when I pick up my truck. Other than the truck, the accessories are critical items, and U-Haul consistently disappoints.
Two problems that need to be highlighted. When I entered the pickup truck, the stated mileage was 14 miles above where I the paperwork said it was to start. When paying per mile, that's a bit much to be off. Additionally, my tank said full but was not. I used the pickup truck to drive a total of 8 miles and had to replace 4 gallons of fuel. That's extra money out of my pocket.

The after hours return using the phone and the website is virtually impossible to get through, I would get halfway through receive an error stating my location wasn't uploaded with the photo or something similar (I didn't change anything) and it would kick me out. LUCKILY there was still an employee inside who had watched me start over 3 times walking around taking pics and took pity on me and came out to accept the return.
