Let customer know in advance when booking that they require an emergency contact person. I was unaware it was necessary and when I arrived at the site to pick up the vehicle, was presented this question. Fortunately my wife was home at the time so everything turned out OK. Not sure what the repercussions would have been had she not been home. All this just to rent a vehicle for a few hours - when the renting company already had my Visa on record (in case anything untoward should happen).

I always have a great experience at this location (have used more than 6 times). Even if there is a wait, it’s never long, and staff are always very friendly and efficient. I always have an easy time returning my equipment as well. I love that this location always has many trucks to choose from, and that they are very well stocked with all the moving supplies. Keep it up!! :)

If equipment is booked at a particular location, it should be available at the requested location and for the time it was requested. The Customer should not be the one to travel to alternate location. The responsibility lies within UHaul to make it available at the preferred location and the time requested. No exceptions. And, the equipment should be ready to go at time of pickup. Customer service continues to fail each time we have had to rent equipment, without fail. It’s really too bad there’s no competition as UHaul would definitely not be our choice.

Explain to the customer how to return the equipment/truck had no idea an the didn't mention anything about an app or anything just to drop off the key in re box and the truck at ban time

Next time it would be nice if you actually gave the truck for the time booked and not demand that it be back to the facility almost 2 hours before it was due. It was booked for 10 hours and it was requested back in 8 hours. We actually got it back in 7 and then instead of comping the gas we were charged another 10$ and the full price for booking it for 10 hours. Terrible customer service.

I showed up at 7:02 to drop the vehicle off. Because it was "after hours" I had to drop the key in the slot and leave the vehicle. I asked an associate which was helping another customer drop off how I would get the partial refund and she told me that I would have to come back another day because all the registers were already closed (I paid by debit and had the $150 deposit). I went back to moving and came back on Saturday after I had recieved an email saying a cheque would be mailed to me... So, I don't live at that address anymore as I was renting the uhaul to move and it was literally one day before that cheque was already prompted to be sent. I was now told by the associates that it couldn't be reversed or canceled or refunded to my debit because the cheque was being sent and that it would take roughly 6 weeks to arrive since it came from Phoenix. This is the most pathetic situation I've dealt with with to date from a company as large as uhaul. Not one bit of it makes sense and the problem seems to stem from whatever impatient individual working for accounting that has decided to "finalize" my account. So due to poor communication and a lack of capability in the facility I would rate uhaul a zero if I could. I certainly will never recommend as there are a dozen other companies that offer the same services at the same if not less cost and they won't waste your time.

The lady that I talked to when I returned the vehicle was super rude and the vehicle that I got was super dirty and had a broken side mirror! The other lady didn’t even know how to enter things in the system for another customer in front of me and I had to wait almost 30 minutes just to be served.

I filled up the gas tank in the vehicle. It was over 30 liters for only 150km driven. Thats 11.7mpg. Is that standard fuel economy for this kind of truck? It was a bit cold but not that horrible. When I received the car the gauge showed the tank full. I have filled it up till the nozzle clicked once. I am not complaining, I am curious if that is the standard fuel economy for this truck. I need that for future planning of costs of rental. Have a nice day. Lukasz

They called the police on me. They ordered I bring the truck back b4 my time was up. They called my references and asked them if I were going to steal the truck. They didn’t want to accept my Ontario license!!??! Horrible place

Very slow at preparing our storage and truck rentals... We had the truck from 4-8pm but only had 3 hrs to use it cause we were done paperwork at 4:53pm.. Took over an hr for paper work
