I think all was good with the rental and the ease to get it. The only thing I would suggest is that it is a good idea to explain the Express Check In to people when calling. Was not done properly with my wife and it caused a little bit of a wait when I picked up the vehicle.

Have the rental ready as promised. After picking up dolly at Inkster location I was called and asked to bring it back and then sent to the McPhillips location to pick up a different one. 2 hours of wasted time. The car dolly we ended up with was in very good condition and worked out very well for us.

I was yelled at by the CSR that took my return. I had requested the vehicleat one store from 2-6 and was provided with a different vehicle at a different store at 2:45. I had a flight to catch at 6:30. I returned the vehicle at 5:50 and as I was getting out I was greeted with "where the f*** were you, this unit was due back at 4:00" . The situation escalated a bit more until the CSR that actually did the rental came outside, corrected your first employee and we checked the sheet.. sure enough, due back at 6:30. I have never been as disappointed with a customer experience as this and didn't even receive so much as a "oh hey, sorry.. you were right". Or.. "that makes sense.. who could move in an hour and 10 minutes anyway" If there was any other option other the uhaul, I would definitely use them because this was absolutely horrific. Unfortunately I'll be using your service again at least twice more before the summer.

Lady who "served" me at this location was very abrupt and dismissive. I did not appreciate that. I also had to scrape snow off the vehicle's windshield prior to taking it out. This is something that should be done by the business not by the customer. Obvious lack of customer service. Very disappointing. Also my rental that I requested originally was unavailable which I was fine with so I agreed to take a 20 foot van. However I was called later and told that was unavailable as well and given the 26 foot van instead. Then when arriving to pick it up was told I was 3.5 hours early to pick it up when I had told the person the day prior the time I would pick it up at. Very disorganized. The truck was clunking and banging the entire trip. Steering made odd clunking sounds. Shifter was difficult to disengage from park or to shift into other gears. Transmission did not like to shift and hung onto gears too long. Poorly maintained equipment which is what this company is known for. I think I will look elsewhere should I need a cube van next time. Not a good overall experience from start to finish.

I was told that in future a cell phone might be required in order to rent a truck. I don't currently own a cell phone, although I do have portable wi-fi devices that can send and receive e-mails. If you go this route, please have a local hotspot for customers to use (password-protected is okay, as long as there's some way to get the password before arriving at the rental depot).

Next time during the phone call booking please explain the insurance options as I had already calculated how much I was planning on spending I go to the store Nd then thrown at with insurance opt in or out I had no time to think or understand what is it. Basically the dude said if u get hit and it's still not ur fault u pay us. Which honestly is a joke . MpI is the only insurance company in manitoa why dont tyou deal with the m direct. I dont have the cash to cover damages my self that's why I'm here renting a van or I'd just buy my own... like serious? Basically its present like if you went to best buy with you item and at the till the try and sell you the extra " warranty ". Also your hours dont work well. 8pm? Why not 9pm like all retail stores close at. The drop off app thing is pretty annoying taking all these random photos. I get it's to show that ya I didnt RIP up the seats but come on... What cheesed me the most was the way the insurance was present and during the phone call booking it was never mentioned but to up sell me on dollies and boxes. Your agents are all ready.... a joke

I originally booked for pick up on Inkster but was told to pick up on Keewatin with option to do a self pick up. Since I placed the order with a 8:00 am pick up and 1:00pm drop off. This was an inconvenience. When I arrived and followed the instructions for the self pickup. I was told to phone a number.At this time I was told that the location did not open until 11:00am. This was a disaster as I need to have the vehicle loaded and at my destination by 11:00 am!! I was told that there were other vehicles at the McPhillips location and ended up going there for a smaller Van. At the time of pick up over an hour had been lost do to the run around. I was told that my 1:00pm drop off could not be extended, even though the company caused my delay. I feel that some sort of credit of Gift card is entitled because of all the running around, stress and having to make due with a smaller vehicle.

Poor, slow service. Under-staffed to handle customers. Non-functional debit machine and unsupervised new employee made things MUCH slower than they needed to be. Poor management of cash box (both times I vistied they had issues with finding the key and opening it).

Inside of truck was not cleaned very well there was ashes on the dash and floor. Also took 4 days for them to process the return when I brought the truck back after hours however the employee was quick to point out they only have to hold the refund for 2 days in store before they issue a cheque by mail

Location and staff at the location were excellent. I was not impressed with UHaul call center, I had reserved a 26 foot truck several weeks in advance and 24 hours prior to picking up the truck I was notified that I was getting a 15 foot truck and was not able to pick it up at the location that I had requested. I was not impressed with the call center staffs attitude of take it or leave it. I found them to be very unprofessional. I will definitely look at Penske or other truck rental companies in the future. L & L

While the 2 employees were very pleasant and helpful, there were only 2...on a Saturday morning! I waited for approximately 45 mins. But that was not their fault. Every customer has different needs and situations, and they dealt with everyone very well and in a timely fashion for what was needed. I think your company should consider having more than 2 people staffed at the front on weekends, in general .

This location was fine. But... I had originally booked a 15' for Salter location. All good. Then told no truck was available there, would be at Munroe. Went there. Took selfie. 7 minutes and still hadn't uploaded. Worse, no keys had been left for the truck. Couldn't use it. Phoned in. The fellow said he couldn't do anything. Could give me a 10' at McPhillips. Had no choice but to go with that location and smaller truck, likely meaning more trips, more time, and more miles. NOT very happy about that! Fellow at McPhillips was good, got me on my way. But not before he had to take a picture of the back of my license, which I had already scanned and uploaded from my home computer. At the same time, staff at the next computer had a real mess managing the financials for the couple they were serving. I think you have real system problems.

To whom it may concern, This morning I arrived at U Haul with my boyfriend (Mitchell Harrison) at 7:00am sharp. The store doors did not open until 7:09am, we didn’t get off the lot until 7:15am meaning 15 mins of our 4 hours were taken. Before we returned the U Haul, we stopped at the gas station on the corner of inkster and mcphillips (nearest gas station) and filled the tank back up to three quarters which we were told that was the amount we should return it at. With that gas station location being the closes station to the uhaul where we dropped it off the meter went a little below three quarters where we were charged an extra fuel charge. I have attached a copy of the receipt of what time and how much we put into the truck for fuel. Once I paid way over the estimated price I was given at the start, I noticed additional charges and I would like a refund. I called the phone number listed on the receipt and than was transferred to the uhaul on mcphlipps where I was told that we arrived to the lot late. I arrived at approximately 11:03 and parked the truck where the signs read “drop off, please wait in vehicle for assistance” I than waited 10 minutes and no one arrived. I than entered the shop to wait another 5 minutes while employees were helping customers (that being said I was not late). My total came up to $99 when I was quoted $75 as a estimate. Just remind cash paying customers if they return after the store is closed for the day to hold onto the keys so they can use the site properly. I had to take bogus pictures because the site wouldn't allow me to use the pictures I had taken already for my own security then I saw on the door as I dropped the keys in the slot that I had to go online to return it.

The customer service was friendly. City millage $0.89 a kilometer is not fair at all. Single trip returned with in two hours and paid $ 97 Dollars. I dont think the pricing is fair at all.
