Only 1 employee on staff on sunday. had to wait 20 minutes in line to pick up the keys even though there was only 1 person in front of me (picking up a trailer that the employee had to hook up).

The truck itself had a leak in the front, upper, driver's side "attic" portion. We went through rain in Georgia and North Carolina. When the truck was unloaded, the boxes up on that portion were quite wet.

Give the customer a full tank of gas upon arrival/picking up rental. I received a truck with less than 1/2 tank of gas. Moving is stressful enough-adding an extra stop before the move is extremely inconvenient.

With regards to the well maintained, the truck appeared to be perfect, but shook at highway speeds. Very unpleasant and cost time as I had to drive slower.

Hello I am Uhaul customer for over 15 years. I rent your equipment mostly from Broadway Lawrence, MA but when they don't have it I go to many other locations. I have never had a problem until the Wilmington, MA. I returned trailer just 1.45 minutes late (because I have to return to them, not Lawrence) and they charged me an extra day. I talked the manager he was rude and didn't accept my request. After that I called 800 number customer service two people talked to me they didn't help me either. It seems Uhaul is going to lose one of the great customers just because of the $30.

This was an almost uniformly bad experience. I was not greeted on arrival. Attendant was texting or something. Eventually decided to put down the phone and help me. Possibly he was using the phone to do U-Haul business - don't know. But a 'hello' or 'how can I help you' or even a guttural grunting noise to acknowledge my presence would have been nice at least.. Despite having ordered pads, they were all gone by the time I got there. The attendant supplied cardboard pads which was better than nothing but this was also annoying. Hitched up the trailer, we tested the lights, I said am I good to go? He said yes, even though he had left the trailer door fully open. I drove away with the door fully open as a result. A kind fellow driver signaled me that it was open so I pulled over to the verge on a 4-lane interstate to close the thing. Really?

Sign at location said to stay with rental vehicle during drop off. I waited 5 minutes and then went inside to drop off keys...

The location was supposed to be open at 9am. When I arrived at 10:15am, the store was still closed with a line of patrons waiting outside. The uhaul personnel was late to open. They finally arrived

...the rates. The rate was terrible, but we had little to no choice on rental options. I had to drive 45 minutes extra to get the van, and another 45 minutes extra to get it home that night, because of a reservation issue from that morning. That alone cost an extra 70 miles for us. The staff I dealt with, in the other hand, are some of the nicest individuals I have ever dealt with at uhaul, so I would definitely recommend the Wilmington and Natick locations.
