The truck was fine, but the two dollies I rented were not in the truck. I had to put additional miles on the truck to travel to a different uhaul location to pickup the dollies where they were available.

Most of the fault of my experience can't be placed on the pickup location. If I go online or on the app and reserve a piece of equipment at a location, I expect it to be there. Instead I made two reservations, and each time was then later told about 4-8 hours later that it would in fact not be available and the pickup location was moved. If I'm doing a one way move, I'm not sure how you think this is manageable as I'm trying to find the equipment somewhere on a route between two places, not someplace I am easily going back to, so how am I supposed to plan a move if the place I need to go keeps changing? Then at the rental location they were poorly stocked on supplies and had no electrical adapters for trailers. So I drove to the place where I had originally planned on renting a trailer and guess what, they had the same trailer I wanted to rent but was told it woulnd't be available so the rental location moved! Last item - a large heavy barbell was left in the trailer and not removed before I rented it - it blended in with the metal of the trailer and I didn't see it - so nobody checked that the trailer had actuallly been cleaned out before I picked it up. That said - the lady at the pickup location was nice and helpful- no problems with her.

Thomas WThe first location on Decatur street in Montgomery was horrible. I had a 1pm pick up. No one was there. It is a barber shop. He did not arrive until 1:45. He was rude. He started spraying down all of his clippers first. I advised that I reserved a large dolly, furniture dolly and pads. He had none. I called Uhaul, they said these are not guaranteed. How can I move an entire house without a dolly? How can I unload an entire house? If these items are never available you should advise the customer ahead of time so they have time to find a dolly. I ended up needing a larger truck so had to travel to another town. Flex storage charged me for the larger truck after pating for the smaller one. The smaller uhaul cost more than the larger uhaul plus I rented a small dolly? I also purchased a lock from flex storage. I asked if it was a uhaul lock however it was not. It did not fit. It ended up being a storage lock. I had to go out and buy a lock. The owner of the barber shop should not be a uhaul dealer. He was rude and while I was on the phone with uhaul, asking if anybody in the entire county had any dollies, he was asking me if I wanted to cancel my uhual then turned on a loud blower or something so ai could not hear the person I was speaking with at uhaul. He threw me the keys and said match up the nunbers. He did not email me a reciept. Flex storage did email me at receipt before I left. I did speak to a nice person who refunded me the amount of the first uhaul.
