I received a 5 x 8 enclosed trailer that was not well-serviced. On my way back home from my trip, my son (who was driving behind me) noticed the right side wheel was wobbling, and that the tire was being shredded on the inside wall, due to the tire rubbing on a bolt on the trailer leaf spring. I stopped at a UHaul Center in Bakersfield, and I was delayed almost two hours while waiting for a service rep to show up and replace the tire, and take the wheel bearing off and try to straighten the wobble. If the trailer had been properly serviced from the beginning, I wouldn't have had the issue. Thank goodness my son noticed the tire being shredded by the wobble, or I would've been stuck on the freeway with a blown-out tire, waiting even longer for a service rep to show up. The last time I rented a trailer from UHaul, I had a blowout tire, from improper servicing. I'm thinking that I won't rent from UHaul in the future, because I feel that the trailers are not thoroughly serviced. Because of the delay, I had to cancel some plans, because I was late getting back. When I tried to explain my issue to the attendant at the store, he wasn't interested in hearing my dilemma, and brushed me off, and moved on from it, without even so much as an apology. I feel that because of the inconvenience the trailer issue caused, I could've been offered at least one day of use of the trailer taken off my final bill. But there was no such offer presented by the attendant.

I rented a trailer and dolly, but it wasn't until I got to the site that I noticed the dolly wasn't loaded. In their defense, the store employee put the dolly in his personal car and drove it out to me. But, since the pick-up location had changed the night before, I started out at my original pick-up spot and was told I had to go another location to pick up my equipment. I lost almost two hours changing locations and waiting for the dolly. I wouldn't go back, but with U-Haul you don't get a choice, you have to go where they send you.
