My experience couldn't have been worse. The original location I made the reservation with did not have the equipment I reserved. I was not provided this information prior to my arrival. The person at the original Uhaul location didn't seem to know how to use the Uhaul computer system as they couldn't find my reservation in the system even though I provided them with a hard copy printout of the reservation with the Uhaul confirmation number. The Uhaul employee didn't even know the difference between a hand truck and a furniture dolly. I had to go to another Uhaul location that was further away to get my equipment. This wasted my time and gas. At the new location, they had the equipment I reserved, but they had to re-enter the reservation as they couldn't use the original one. Next, the Uhaul person who retrieved the trailer and hooked the trailer to my truck did not install the trailer correctly causing the trailer to detach from the hitch ball about 1 mile down the road. More than a little frightening seeing the trailer drifting back and forth from left to right in the rearview mirror. Fortunately, the trailer chains kept the trailer from completely detaching from the truck allowing me to slow down and pull over. The trailer impacted the rear end of my truck while I was slowly decelerating. I called the Uhaul pickup location who refused to send any assistance even though I was only 1 mile down the road. Instead, they transferred me to their roadside assistance center where the calls disconnected while on hold and who couldn't provide me with an ETA on their arrival. A sheriff's deputy on patrol stopped by and assisted me getting the trailer reattached to the truck. U haul roadside assistance was practically useless. Thank you law enforcement! Upon returning the trailer that evening, the wait times for the return of the equipment were excessively long because while they had multiple service counters, they only had one counter staffed to service customers. This caused long lines. While the Uhaul employee was unhooking the trailer, I explained what happened. The Uhaul employee asked who hooked up the trailer. When I stated their name, the Uhaul employee commented that this was not the first time this type of incident occurred with this other employee. Unbelievable! Uhaul knew they had a problem with this employee and continued to allow this person to improperly hook up trailers to customer's vehicles. When I asked to speak to a manager to discuss my experience, I was told that there was no manager on duty and was given a business card and told to call the number on the card. No one appeared surprised nor did they appear to care at my experience. My advice ditch Uhaul! Go somewhere else, anywhere else, to rent a trailer.

The original location you assigned in the system was not even a U-Haul location, so we had to go to this one. Once we got here, the people in the front office were very rude and not helpful at all. The people in charge of checking the truck, took a long time to receive it, we were waiting for more than 40 min until the guy finished cleaning up a car and he was just using a vacuum on it. This is unacceptable, if we are there to drop off a truck, take the truck and then keep on your business of cleaning but it's not right for a customer to wait and wait until the guy cleans up to receive the truck, very inefficient process at this location and extremely poor customer service

We took truck to original location we were directed to. Told there was no space. I called uhaul and was given a new location. We spent 15 minutes driving there. Turns out we cannot drop off there either. Spend another 10 mins on phone to uhaul (with a very helpful and understanding rep) who gave us another location. Spent another 15 minutes driving there. Finally found a space and a key drop and instructions for drop off. This was all very tiring and inconvenient at the end of a very long hard day moving house.

I had to clean the interior of the cab and windows,dirt and the steering wheel had black greasy/dirt all over it ,took this van to my house and cleaned it the way a customer should get it, didn’t have time to wash exterior,just windshield and mirrors.Seems like to me that,there isn’t enough help and they have a hard time keeping up with volume? Use this facility very often and would like to see service a little better.pleasant people just slow system.

The policy of making the customer utilize technology is horrible. Only adds time to check in and check out. The policy only serves UHaul, is an extreme dissatisfyer to customers. Give customers a choice, if they want to check in and out electronically offer customer a 10% discount. Or, pay full price for clerk assistance. But to mandate customers use technology, as stated previously,... is horrible. Change this policy immediately is my suggestion.

The girl who checked me in and got me my rental did an excellent job. She, alone, was handling three customers at the same time, ordering equipment via two way radio and never skipped a beat. She did a phenomenal job with all the people waiting.

Low on staff support when returning truck. There was 8 trucks coming in all at once. I was waiting for someone to help check out my truck for 15 mins and another guy came and got helped right away. There is no working system here. I got ripped off on gas also.

LARGE LINE AND NO ONE CARED. 10 PEOPLE IN LINE AND GIRL GOS ON HER BRAKE. RENTED A CAR HAULER AND ONE OF THE TAIL LIGHTS WAS COMPLETELY OUT.

Inside service was a joke. Waited over an hour and had a reservation to pick up a truck. Truck had no brakes and was all over the road. We were in a pinch and had to move and couldn’t wait another hour for a different truck. Took ten dollars off the rental. Wow.

My Whole experience was nothing but a nightmare,It will be the last time I use that location. They gave me the worst malfunctioning truck. U-Haul is putting people in danger by not Servicing they’re Trucks properly. They gave me a truck that the side mirror on the drivers side would not work. So I basically had to drive almost standing up so I could look at the rearview mirror. The air was not functioning, being that I’ve been in Florida. The truck kept swerving from side to side And every time I would go on the highway and speed up the truck would jump up and down. They made me pay for insurance.Meantime they are the ones that should have been insuring me.I had a very tough Time and risking my life on the road with such a horrible malfunctioning truck

Had to wait a long time to get the truck. Then I had to use the app to check the truck out which I did not like I do not work for U-Haul and don’t want to have to do their work. Turning in the truck was also a very time-consuming process do not like to have to use the app. If I want to use the app I would get a job at U-Haul.
