The gasoline level was almost on 3/4. They put on the paper 3/4. When I returned the truck I made sure it was on almost 3/4 the way they gave it to me. I only drove 9 miles. Even the clerk recognized they might have been a discrepancy but he still made me pay $7 extra for gaz. Shame shame shame.

Make needed repairs to the cargo trailers I.e. brake assist not functioning due to low fluid. Fix handle on rear doors i.e. sloppy/bent. Make repairs to fenders i.e. bent. Replace warn and out of balance tires i.e. visual wear and shaking at speed. Trailer rating =4. 1= Not raod worthy, never again. 10= New and would rent daily.

On or around Monday, August 6 I visited Post Road Service Center in Rhode Island to inquire about a one-way U-Haul rental from Boynton Beach, Florida to North Kingstown RI. The Proprietor, Anthony, made a reservation for an installation of a trailer hitch and a trailer at your Boynton Beach location on federal Highway. Anthony suggested that I call and follow up with the Boynton Beach location to confirm the work. I called the Boynton Brach U-Haul and spoke with Dan on Monday afternoon, August 6th. Dan informed me that he did not have the part in stock but he could have it overnighted from the Titusville, Florida area for an additional fee of approximately $91.00. Having no choice, I asked him to order the part and told him that I would like it installed on my 2012 VW Jetta on Friday, August 10th as I was planning on packing and leaving Florida for Rhode Island on Sunday August 12th. I received a call from the Boynton Beach location on Thursday, August 9th and made an appointment to install the hitch on Friday, August 10th. On Friday morning I received a call from the Boynton location stating that they had an issue with an air pump and they were rescheduling me for an afternoon installation at the West Palm Beach location on Okeechobee Blvd. approximately 20 miles north. While I was heading to West Palm Beach, around 1:30PM, I received a call from that location stating that the wrong parts were delivered to their location and they would not be able to install the hitch until Saturday, August 11th. On Friday evening, I received a telephone voice message and a text indicating that my reservation for the hitch had been rescheduled to Tuesday, August 14th at 12:30PM – 4 days after the original reservation! The next morning, Saturday, August 11th, I drove to the Boynton Beach location and told them that this whole reservation had been messed up and I needed to leave the next day and I could not wait until Tuesday. Additionally, at this point, because of the delays, it did not look like it would be possible for me to even get out on Sunday as required. Again, they said that they would do the best they could and later that morning they informed me that I had a reservation at the West Palm Beach location at 2:00 for installation. Again, I drove 20 miles north to West Palm Beach. When I arrived at the West Palm Beach location they had not record of my reservation, nor did they have the part. It was only after several calls were made to the Boynton location that the matter became resolved, but I did not leave the service center with a new hitch until 5:30 that afternoon. I had now lost several valuable hours of packing time and, at this point, my schedule was blown. I began to leave on Monday morning and when going through a final check, noticed that the directional and brake lights on the trailer were not working. I took the trailer to the Boynton Beach location and they determined that it was merely a fuse and it was replaced. Aga

The check in employees were working as hard as they could, but there was a line of trucks being returned. I asked one of the check-in employees if it’s like this every Tuesday afternoon and he said “no, every day about this time it’s packed”. Maybe during rush return times have more employees assisting. I waited about 20 minutes for a 3 minute check-in. The Employees were very professional. Thanks.

Clerk behind the counter engaged in unnecessary conversation with customer in from of me and cost me an extra 20 mins. First trailer on hookup has faulty lights and had to switch units which caused extra time being spent hooking up.

I came in and the lady first offered me a 50 miles coverage because i was just moving something within 5 miles she gave me the price then i had to go home for my card when i returned a gentleman finished what the lady started however his price doubled selling me 200 miles when i told him i dont need ao many miles he said thats what the contract offers and i told him lady sold me 50 miles because im just going up the rd and come back. He stuttered then adjust the price to 50 miles. All i did was 7 miles when i returned the truck. Im happy i went to the lady first because if he was the first i got and he refused to give me a lower mileage i would have went to budget instead. Kudos to the lady. She understand what the customer wants but if someone doesnt need alot of mileaga dont tell them that the contract sells for 200 miles only.

I had to argue w/your service team when i returned the vehicle. They had elected the insurance for me when i had declined it. If the sales rep had not walked by & confirmed that i didn't elect ins. they were going to bill me $10.00. Something to do w/computer glitch. It was not a pleasant experience at all.
