Guy told me to take the uhaul around back behind the building and that I can handle everything back there. Then learn that it was all self serve. I hated using the app and having to take so many pictures of where the vehicle was, condition, etc. I spent 100 bucks to use a truck for a few hours. Iâ€™d expect a bit better of customer service then the â€œfigure it out yourselfâ€™ model.

Fix your app, tried to check in for over one hour and then it crashed on payment and never released the car to me. Will not be using the app to check in again. Only to check out.

Not my requested location, and you tried to move the pick up to Phoenexville without asking me for confirmation. I originally set up the reservation to pick up from Malvern/Frazer, which had many trucks in the lot.

It was a great experience. Sean was amazing. He had the uhaul ready. The paperwork was done quickly. Dropping off the uhaul was equally excellent. Sean was really great. Probably the best uhaul experience I have had.

The clerk said he could not add another driver but that I could call the 1 800 number to do so. I rented the truck and then called that number, but the person I reached on the phone said he couldn't add a driver after the truck was dispatched. The clerk needs better training, or the policy needs to be changed. Also, I had reserved 12 moving blankets, but this location had only 5, one of which had metal snaps that were likely to scratch the furniture. He still charged me for 12 blankets.

What was discussed while I contracted for the van on the phone and what actually happened when I picked up the van was an arduous series of bad customer experience...the fact that I was 5, repeat 5 minutes early caused 30 minutes of confusion.

The on line system for scheduling a rental is horrible. I requested a truck from a location close to my house and was scheduled at a place twice as far, and even farther due to the fact that there were tunnels that the truck could not pass. I also asked to have the truck at 8 AM and the new place did not even open until 10 AM and closed early I spoke with people from U Haul scheduling and customer service (4 phone calls in total) and was not happy with the outcome. Because this all occurred 1 day prior to the move, I could not change to another company. I believe that this was done to increased my rental fees to 2 days. This is a scam. While the people at the point of rental were awesome, I will not be using U Haul to move my children anymore. Anne McCarter, Unionville, PA

Had trouble getting web site to return van. Had to download App to do. Took half an hour to return the van = too long. Also the van was "big enough for a Queen size mattress SUPPOSEDLY. the mattress fit but only an angle ( It couldn't be stood up nor laid across the van). This made loading other things a real a pain in the butt. Would have paid more for a bigger vehicle if this was known up front!

When I returned the truck, I forgot to mention that the truck air-conditioner does not seem to be working. I drove mainly in the evening, so rolling down the window was fine for me. Also, just a note - I talked to some agents on the phone because of difficulties arranging my rental, and they were extremely friendly and helpful as well. Everyone - on phone, and in person on both ends - was extremely helpful. Many thanks. The rental was a great value.

I wish they would have had the equipment I requested. When booking online, there was a message that I would receive an email from regional regarding getting the equipment I wanted and to make other arrangements. Instead, I received an email saying I was given a cargo van instead of the pickup truck. Very disappointing.

Nothing wrong with the location itself. However, picking up the van with my mobile phone was a nightmare. I wait for the confirmation for 1 hour. Besides that the mileage in the contract was wrong because someone took the car to change the oil and the responsible person did not update the mileage so When I picked up the van was 6004 and I returned with 6014 after 30 minutes. They wanted to charge me 75 miles instead of 10 miles. It was another nightmare. I would need to drive at an average of 150 miles per hour to use 75 miles in 30 minutes. Because of these situations, I was late to check out the hotel and I needed to pay an extra fee. Summarizing, Very disorganized and complicated. Thanks, Felipe

Van was clean, comfortable & easy to load/unload. However, feel advertising the rental for $20 is VERY misleading when you charge .79 cents per mile plus gas. The $20 van rental cost $70 plus gas when all was said & done.

Customer service was terrible and did not have the van ready for me at my reserved time. Without asking, customer service rep relocated my reservation 20 minutes away without discussing my travel options. After finally getting the van, cargo area was not clean when we picked it up

Failed to confirm and give me the exact UHaul drop off location in NJ. Thus I ended up going to two different drop off locations to drop the truck off and recoup my $100.00 deposit !
