Sadly my reservation and the person before me as well were taken incorrectly. They had to drive to Greece for a truck, luckily what I needed was available. It could have turned out bad, but the person at the store did a great job with what he had to work with.

It was a busy time of the month (end of June and beginning of July) and yet there was only one employee there - so my 10am pickup turned into an 11am pickup. I spent an hour waiting in line. Joe, the employee there, was great and working very hard to get everyone setup - he just could have used some help is all.

Nothing related to this location (as everyone was great), but perhaps a website design issue. I had an issue where i went in to edit my pick up time, and apparently changed the equipment that i was renting (from enclosed trailer to utility trailer). I'll surely take the blame for doing it, but i have to imagine that the way the editing screen is set up makes it far too easy to accidentally do that. I'll look into it next time i rent, and see where i goofed.

Steering on the truck was in desperate need for repair. I had to turn the steering wheel 90° before it even moved. Truck would severely drift left while on the express way.

The wrong keys/truck were provided, which resulted in the truck somehow running on the wrong keys and then quitting. Roadside assistance was needed to get the correct keys and manage the situation. At the service desk, the Uhaul representative said this was not the first case of this happening to a customer.

Paper work took a while, especially since I had already signed up online. Also, please note that I did not use the dolly. We did have to move it tho to get all the furniture in. So, please don’t charge for that. Thank you.

Employees did not take the proper steps to ensure the trailer was attached to the ball. We were driving down the highway when the trailer popped off the ball and went flailing back and forth, almost killing us. Only one brake engaged when it popped off, and the emergency brake, which did engage, engaged, it was so rusted that it took help from another driver who stopped to get it back so we could continue our move. We returned the trailer 4 hours before our time limit, only to have who I could assume is the owner of the company refused to check in the trailer if we didn't sign a document that stated there was no damage to my vehicle and no accident. I couldn't sign that because it wasn't true! He said that he would not accept the trailer returned and would continue to charge me each day. I asked him who the owner of the company was. He said he can't tell me. I asked who their liability insurance carrier was. He said he can't tell me. I called the cops - and when the owner saw, he quickly took the document he wanted me to sign and shredded it. The cops arrived and watched him sign a document that stated there was an accident and damage to my truck. When I called U-Haul the next day, the owner didn't submit the document and didn't notify U-Haul of the incident. They apologized for his behavior, and it appears their insurance company is going to make the damage right. But this company is SHADY, customer service is HORRENDOUS, and U-Haul should really consider if this is a franchisee they want to be associated with.

Reservation manager was rude. Would recommend that they abide by what they agreed on price without reservation manager arguing back about it and then finally just say I'll give it to you anything else. With no thank you goodbye.

Truck had 147,000 miles on it; it was a rough, bumpy, shaky ride. Why should I pay 100% of the rate for a truck that should probably not be on the road?!
