We got there first so we were waited on immediately. However because there was only one person working and they were extremely attentive and wanted to make sure I knew how to do everything there were other people waiting. I would recommend another staffer because I really appreciate the man that helped us and would not have wanted him to move quicker to the next customer until we were comfortable driving a trailer.
Please make sure the vehicle is parked in the correct location to save the employee time from coming behind the desk to locate the vehicle so they can continue to help other customers. Overall everything was fine. Very respectable and helpful staff. Thank you for being there and assisting my family and I on our move. Donald Jackson

Staff is very friendly. Hate the location though. My heart goes out to them for having to work in such a neighborhood.
You cant park on the lot for an extended period of time.
I forgot something in the truck. I called to see if the staff had it and they were super helpful. Nice people.
The drop off was very easy. I loved that the employee had a work smartphone to verify the drop off and completed the checkout.
Start with being more welcoming. When you walk in the environment is unpleasant as if they don't want your business. This is the second time I've felt disrespected at the Bladensburg location. I will use another company for my next move. They do not acknowledge you when you walk in, after my truck us pulled up for me the employee just left me outside he never checked on me again to see if I had any questions. As a matter of fact he went to check on his blue older model clunker that was parked outside. Jermaine Grimes told me I could not rent the truck without a secondary phone number. They use every rule in the book to make the process tedious. Usually when someone is transitioning homes you're already overwhelmed to add insult to injury you have to contend with the unpleasantness of the people serving you. That's entirely too much. The rental wasn't free so I won't pay to be disrespected. Even if you give me a free rental I'm not coming back. I'm going to pay Uhaul back for such POOR customer service by taking my business elsewhere. I thought the first time around maybe they were having a bad day. This is the second time so this is how they operate at this location. I regret not saying something sooner. I could have probably prevented heartache for another consumer. They use every rule in the book to repel you, what can you do when time is of the essence, and you have a deadline. NOW I KNOW BETTER. They do business with a air of arrogance, they don't care to compete with other moving companies. Leave and take your business elsewhere if you want or accept our ridiculous terms. As a Pre- Med student I took a few business classes, but I didn't need those courses to see through this nonsense. I'm so done and fed up with the two APPALLING experiences I had I don't care about an apology. I want payback the best payback for me is to take my business to another company. Oh yeah and I'll tell others to do the same. I'll be doing research sooner for my next move. If someone I know is moving I will recommend another company. I want this location CLOSED FOR GOOD. I will spread the word in my public platform if needed. If I have to pay more money with another company I STILL DON'T CARE. Even the manager is USELESS, you'd assume with that level of authority she'd be better than her employees by being more accommodating WRONG!!!! I'm telling everyone I know. Word gets around fast amongst college students. The minute I got the email for this review I opened the email immediately to detail my detest for this location and narrated the Classlessness of the parties involved. You can't bribe me with an apology or free stuff. I'm going to see to it that business is impeded on my end. OH yeah my experience was THAT BAD!!!! They talk at you NOT to you. The best way to describe it is like a criminal being investigated. All of the people working at this location are a joke, they all act the same. I did notice a new face with this second interaction same problem. I was in a rush with limited time, NEVER AGAIN. What a DISGRACE!!!
When I rented the truck on the web I was forced to select a location on a Sunday, 3 days after my rental. I knew I would return the next day but could not change the return date, or the return location. When I picked up the truck, I was told I could return to any location. I tried to return to U-Haul Capitol Hill on K St., D.C. After standing in the parking lot trying to return via /share for 15 minutes but couldn't change the return location, I found the place was still open but the door is not visible. I went inside to return but since it was 3 minutes before closing the rude man and woman working there would not help me. They said I had to go to the other location or they would charge me a fee. Didn't care at all, just wanted me to get out, so they could close and leave. Absolutely awful. So I had to go to the other location.
The location was great but again, there were issues with UHaul's reservation system. I had originally reserved a location closer to where I am located but once everything got messed up with the original pickup in NH, I ended up not only having a â€˜call when in DC' listed as the location, but had to travel further away from my new location in order to drop off the vehicle and equipment. This is of no fault to the location but rather a major issue on the reservation/corporate side of U-Haul.

Staff person was very courteous and helpful. Turn in was quick and efficient. I appreciated that she opened the trailer to ensure nothing was left inside.

I want to call out the excellent service from Everett. He went above and beyond to be helpful and problem solve. Best u haul experience I've ever had and I've been using u haul periodically for 30 years.
I was given a very old dolly that will need extra energy to operate and dolly handler at the location don't even know how to operate or have the empathy to assist you on how to use it.

Van had not been cleaned between uses. There was a parking stub from 3 days prior on the dash. The van was dirty all around. I took some pictures.
This was the third location that we were moved to for a truck. We got there and they said that our truck had gas but we would need to fill it but would get a $30 credit. It cost us over $70 (I have pictures) and we returned it with more gas than what it came with. We almost weren't able to get to a gas station because it was on zero (also have pictures)
