I discussed this with several u-haul staff: I need a trailer with a ramp gate big enough to haul four motorcycles. sure enough, the resrevation shuffled me on to a box trailer with no ramp. then, u-haul moved my pickup location adding four miles $ to my trip. then, I had to get the right trailer. I was only able to fit three of the motorcycles on the trailer I was rented. now I have to rent again to make the fourth pickup. more of my time and money wasted on apathy and incompetence. I'll look for alternatives to u-haul.

The truck was dirty when I received it. The truck also stalled twice; once while I was driving through an intersection, once while sitting at a red light. when I informed the attendant upon returning the vehicle, he was very nonchalant about the situation. He asked no questions regarding the circumstances surrounding the truck’s malfunction.

I made an online reservation for the 5th St NE location, and U-Haul changed me to Bladensburg location. Your site shouldn't have let me reserve a van at the 5th St location if there wasn't a van available. Then when I arrived at Bladensburg I tried to use the mobile check-in, which was WAY too many steps, only to realize the mobile check-in was ask me to check in at the 5th St location. So I went inside and explained my issue to the "gentleman" at the desk. He was unbelievably rude. He said "you're not getting a van if you don't have a reservation here." I had to explain to him again that U-Haul had changed my reservation to here. He finally checked me in but told me I wasn't getting the furniture dolly I'd reserved because "you're not the only one moving this weekend, there are a lot of people moving this weekend." So I had to drive to Lowe's and buy my own furniture dolly. Again, your website shouldn't let me reserve something if it's not going to be available. At the end of the day, I was happy to have the van, it was affordable and relatively easy to get. But this guy who checked me in was HORRIBLE. Fortunately, the staff there when I returned the van later in the day was much, much nicer and more customer service oriented. But seriously, the experience and what you're promising the customer on your site doesn't match up with the real life experience, and that's a problem.

Very disappointed with the service. The region office customer service assigned me a Truck the day before my pick up date who was very nice. The company I work for KFC had a Big Important Catering order at the Senate building which they needed information on the Van I will be using for security clearance therefore this is why your region office helped me with this assignment. The location when I got there told me they gave my assigned reserved Van to someone else. They didn't have any OMG I APOLOGY, Any concerns they walked around slowing going about their business. Panic mode started to sit in...I called the Senate catering coordinator what happened and they gave me permission to hurry and send them New information. I had to go outside the UHAUL building and ask one of your team members to help me quickly, she did stop what she was doing and helped me with a grumble. So hurt and disappointed. Finally when so got inside part owner finished my transactions nicely but it was to late to tell him my unsatisfied visit. My main goal was to get the information to the Senate Security Personnel. I'm highly disappointed because the appointment started off Excellent with your Region office on Wednesday and Ended Horrible on Thursday morning with No remorse, No I'm sorry from the tram at the location.

The online check-in and drop-off did not work for my order (it said there was no record of the order). Luckily, my pick up was close to the store opening and Darrell was able to assist me. In the future, it may be helpful to have a backup system in place if the online part doesn't work so people can get their trucks.

It took more than two hours to get the truck. I was told the truck was all set to go but the dolly, utility dolly and 2 dozen blankets were not in the truck. I learned this when I had to go to a different UHaul location which I originally rented from to pick up $100 worth of supplies I ordered online. The location change was made by uhaul. I had to Uber to the Bladensburg location because it was so far away. When I picked up my supplies on K St the clerk did not bother to help get all supplies. I left without bubble wrap, bars for my three wardrobe boxes. Such a terrible moving day. All the clerks were unable to to perform their jobs well.

Online check in was not very efficient, walking back and forth between long line of trucks and key hub. Staff do mot communicate well, and my truck was missing the items i had paid for/requestes. Blankets and dolly.
