Better signage would make this location even better. It was quite confusing figuring out where to return the truck, as the signs directing customers were not easily visible as we approached the building. On the bright side, the process for returning the truck was very efficient and I was pleased with that service.

Everyone was super friendly. Had an issue with fuses on my truck and they introduced me to the mechanic across the street that fixed it right away. Cheap too. Really impressed with the location. The gentleman outside helping move equipment around had a great attitude.

I made reservations online. It was simple and easy! I even changed my reservation a day before my original date and was accommodated. However, I was not informed that the truck would not be available at my preferred location on my reservation. Therefore, I headed to the incorrect location and had to be rerouted to another location. It could have been because of my reservation change. Minor miscommunication, but my suggestion would be to keep the customer informed about location changes. Thanks!

This was my worst customer experience in a long time. I had called a few days earlier to reserve a truck that I would pick up in the afternoon on the designated day. I got a confirming email from U-Haul with the reservation and the location. When I arrived, I was told my reservation had been cancelled. I had to ask why as no reason was given. Your rep didn’t know why, but said my reservation had been moved to another location. He also said the reservation was for a morning pickup (something I had specifically said I could not do when I made the reservation). I had to take a cab there, increasing my cost of this whole thing. Also, I asked them to make sure there was an actual truck at that location before I went over there. I then stood at the counter (to the side so that other customers could be served), and waiting for an answer. After about 10 minutes, I asked for an update and he said, “Yes” — he clearly knew the whole time and just didn’t pay any attention to my standing there. The whole point of my arriving around 2:30 PM was to get the truck, load it, and be able to leave DC before rush hour. This trashed that whole plan. Nobody at this location seemed to care at all about any of this. I trashed you guys on Twitter and your bot said they would “start a review,” but i’ll Believe it when I see it.
