The only issue that we had was that the vehicle had less gas in it then the contract indicated. When we picked up the vehicle the gentleman that checked us out just made a handwritten note on the contract. Then when we went to turn in the vehicle at a different location they would not recognize the written modification.

The customer service at this location was horrible. They didn’t stage my truck for the 24/7 pickup like I requested and then told me it was staged (when it was not and they had to put the order for my supplies in as sat and listened) and blamed me for not knocking on their door before they opened.

Warn customers that they have to arrive within a certain period of time to pick up their truck electronically. I was delayed and had to then wait for customer service to arrive. UHaul employees were very helpful, but the system ought to at least tell you that you have to arrive within 30 min or 60 min or whatever time period of your scheduled arrival.

The truck was not checked for damaged nor the employees at the location encouraged us to check for damage and then we were charged a ridiculous fee for a miniscule scratch, even with the insurance.

There was no one there to check in my uhaul, which I had perfectly cleaned, filled enough gas, and returned well on time. I parked it and dropped my keys off and immediately called customer service to check it in over the phone. The woman has confirmed everything was fine and she took took care of it. But the next day, am idiot at this location charged me at 6:45am as having just dropped off the truck. I had beem charged an extra day and other fees. NEVER GO TO THIS LOCATION. They are idiots. I am still dealing with trying to get a refund and the phone customer service is JUST AS HORRIBLE.

Lack of locations on the west side of the city, which makes pickup and drop off very difficult. This location was out of the furniture dollies, which I had ordered with my U-Haul, and I was really counting on having that tool. Also the woman who checked me in was not friendly or helpful.

Overall it was a so-so experience. First, they didn’t have the furniture pads that I ordered. Not a big deal. Everything was fine until returning the van after hours and realizing that my car was parked in even though they said it was fine there. That meant I had to take the van home and return in the morning. I had already stopped at the gas station and didn’t do it again and then got charged for a gallon of gas. I felt that I should be compensated because I was put out by having to return twice. However, the clerk said she was not able to do anything about it. Pretty frustrated and I know that it isn’t necessarily the employees fault. However, I am not happy that I had to pay full price.

Make the equipment return area more visible. We couldn't find it. Signs need to be posted at the front of the store. The only signs that were posted were by the return area and were small. There needs to be signs posted that direct you to the return area.

UHaul came through for us in a pinch. An alternative rental fell through at the last minute and UHaul was able to get us in a clean, safe truck in a couple of hours. Excellent service!

I was overcharged and called the store about 8 times in the span of two weeks to get in touch with them. I got no response and was only transferred through to the corporate line. The manager at the UHaul store I used was fine but maybe they are understaffed.

I was disappointed in the service I received. I rented a truck, utility dolly, and furniture pads for Sunday. When I picked up the truck and got to my apartment there was no dolly or furniture pads. I tried to call the direct location to resolve this, and I was as placed on hold then directed to a call center where a woman told me that I would have to go back to the store to pick up the materials that should have been on my original order. I asked her if i would be charged for the trip since there is a Mileage charge. She told me she didn’t know and would leave a note for someone at the eckington location to call me back. Surprise surprise, no one ever called me back. I then decided to go directly back to the location and told the gentleman at the counter what happened. He said they were out of furniture pads, and he would take the charge for the pads and dolly off my contract. I got my final bill And guess what? He did none of what he said he would do. I’ve emailed and haven’t received a response back. So in conclusion I’ll say this: if you like half ass service, empty promises, excuses and being overcharged: this is the perfect U-HAUL spot for you.

I wish I would've known how long the wait was because I would have arrived earlier. Our pick up time was originally 10:30. We called and were told we could pick up early so we got there at 9:30 and still didn't leave until 10:30.

This location has made me certain I will never use Uhaul again. They gave us a vehicle without a lower right mirror on the side, and they forgot to give us our dollies and blankets. As a result, we had to pay our movers for an extra 2 hours of work. I had to take a cab back to the Uhaul to get the dollies, and the employees told me it was my fault. I will never use Uhaul again.
