I find it extremely irritating that you now not only require three phone numbers, but you have to call each one to verify. Why? It is time consuming and invasive. The clerk had to call my number, then my wife's, and then my daughter's. You have my drivers license, credit card, and my car in front. I did an online check in which I thought would expedite my check out. It did not, because the employees are spending significant time calling 'references'. While I won't pretend to know anything about the U-Haul business, I can only assume there is a valid reason for this new policy. However, if you treat EVERYONE like a criminal, the VAST majority of us that are not criminals will take offense and will not do business with you anymore.

Having to go to this location to get trailer for my reservation was 165 miles out of our way instead of being in the or near the town I lived in was extremely difficult. I call this extremely poor customer service whether equipment is available or not. As a former team member and MRU, I would NEVER had let this happen. What happened to the customer is always right and pays our salary in order to provide a better product to more and more people at a lower and lower cost?

Have gas in the truck. It was on empty in the full red. The person who helped me said you should go straight to the gas station. NO THE TRUCK SHOULD HAVE GAS IN IT WHEN I PICK IT UP!!!!! Absolutely Ridiculous!!!!! He tells me the closet station is Shell. I go there and it is $95 to get to HALF A TANK!!! and you give me a credit of $28 for gas. DO THE MATH!!!! $47.50 should be the credit. Then you tell me to return it on a quarter tank!!!!! I should NOT be required to put gas in a empty truck when I rent it. Gas should be in the truck and I return it at that same level. I should be issued a credit for the difference and inconvenience. Highly disappointed and irritated by this service.
