truck had no a/c and heat from engine was coming in the cabin I felt very bad after driving the truck
Everyone was extremely friendly and very communicative.
First of all I am a reservation in Sherman Oaks location on Haseltine and the online U-Haul portal stated that that Equipment was not available at that location but I would have to go to Van Nuys. I was then told on the online portal that I represent will be calling me. On the way over to the Van Nuys location I received A call from the U-Haul representative.She stated that the Van Nuys location did not have the equipment I reserved which was a long bed pick up truck. She informed me that I would have to drive to Woodley and victory to pick up the truck there and then I could go Right away and get it. So I turned around and I drove the other direction and try to locate the U-Haul location which was hitting some white because navigation was confused and I couldnâ€™t tell where it was so I drove around in circles for 20 minutes and then realized it must be in the shopping center which it was.I didnâ€™t recognize it because it was no U-Haul is it at all anywhere in the front and back it wasnâ€™t even rigged for truck service he didnâ€™t look like when I went in and told him my reservation number he was surprised because they Usually get a lot of people that go there by mistake looking for another location because they donâ€™t do very many truck rentals. However the location that I was told to go to was not a different location it was indeed the location that I went to that had no trucks there so after another 20 minutes wasted I drove 15 minBack the other direction and ended up at the original location which the online portal told me I would have to go. Upon getting there and checking in I asked if there was any way they could just the fees for the trench because I had already lost you know an hour and a half of time because of errors From U-Haul. I work as a fitness trainer and specialists and I was making a trip to pick up equipment for a client and thatâ€™s why it was so urgent that I get the truck and have it be the way it was supposed to be so that I could have enough time to get there and make it to my other clients which I did not so what ended up happening Is a lost money to clients as it to be precise and that equates to three dollars for me and also I have to give those clients make up sessions which is another hour each of my time for free. What makes matters worse is that when I was checking out at the beginning for the rental there was aHold on my account because of a collection that wasnâ€™t even my equipment.As I recall from the rental that it was pertaining to was that when I got the rental in the back of the rental truck if you were very busy they were already blankets that were loose they were not mine that I used I had brought my own stuff so when I return the truck and the blankets were in there I left them in there they have assumed that they were my blankets so they froze my account as a result didnâ€™t notify me at all until I was already in the checkout trying to get the truck and then added another 20 minutes delayed on my time so I can
Fuel tank was just under half a tank when leaving the lot while my paper work showed 7/8th. I took a photo and it was honored. How does this happen?
Trucks are maintained will, clean back! I had to wipe down inside truck(cab) seats, steering wheel, & such! They are very busy there! There should be at least 3 to 4 staff members especially on weekends, Friday thru Sunday rush! They assist the customers with excellent care, helpful as well as knowledgeable! Organize all in order! Will stocked! I was very pleased!
I RARELY leave ratings or take the time to write comments, but I felt in this circumstance I had to. I encountered quite a few issues upon arriving for my reservation. However, the only one I will take the time to comment on is the one that had me seriously contemplating legal action of some sort. First of all no walk-through whatsoever was done. I was given a truck with ZERO gas in it. I noticed when I was about leave Off the lot. I proceed to go inside and ask to be switched to a truck with fuel and was told there were only 3 trucks presents and that I could not switch. I left the lot with fuel on ZERO. When I return the truck something tells me to look at the paperwork I was given. The paperwork shows that the truck was 1/4 full!! Not sure what type of scamming was intended but the representative that did my paperwork had to have known the tank was at the level that it was for her to fill out my paperwork. Which means she either lied or didnâ€™t actually check the fuel level. In either case, I donâ€™t plan to EVER patron this company again and you should REALLY reevaluate your hiring standards and in particular, look into this particular location. I have NEVER experienced such an experience.
Inform customers of things that might be important during the rental
the guy who received me the van was very rude, as if he owned the business, being the vans rent to move things, not to transport people
Customer service was so bad,specially the guy who helped me on the front and to process my paper work.. he looks like so mean..
Staff was super friendly and helpful! Even gave us a lock that was left behind by another customer to use!!!
Best U-Haul location I have rented from and we have used several over the years.
Hard to say, they had me in and out of there in a timely manner and the staff was helpful
In this location there are many private Spanish truck owners there all over customers to rent their trucks to you instead of letting the Uhaul customers to be able to rent a truck from Uhaul & Uhaul staff let that happens, it should be investigated by Uhaul company .
The guy that help me out has NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. They need better training I will never go to that location again
I checked everything out online since we are in a little thing called a pandemic. I chose to save us all some stress and Check everything out online and drop the keys off in the drop box. Then one of your lovely associates informed me in a tone of annoyance that I could have just turned them in inside the store. As a paying customer Iâ€™m going to choose the safer option for me and your associates so, I was going the less interactive option. I donâ€™t appreciate being spoken to pragmatically because an employee feels I need to endanger my well being even more because they didnâ€™t want to take a few extra steps to retrieve the keys. Everything else was great.
It was great this location had the trailer we need at the moment even though was a little far from my house.
Gentleman in the office was helpful and trip went smoothly with night drop off option
First vehicle had a broken headlight, I was overcharged and second vehicle door was jammed several times. This place is a joke !!
It would be nice to be able to park on your property. When I called 880 number, they said I would be able to, but when I came , I was told I could not. The rest of the experience was great!
The gentlemen that helped me was great. Explained everything, hooked up the trailer and was even there when I returned to nu hook the trailer. Very accommodating and friendly. Pleasure to do business at this location.
Make sure your client gives you accurate information. Your client used my email and an old phone number my husband had 5 years ago. No one connected to this email address made any purchases/rentals through Uhaul, yet we received all correspondence for the person who did whom has also likely stolen our information.
The staff were very helpful and polite. Easy transaction!
