Unfortunately I was charged for not returning the uhaul truck with the correct amount of gas. I believe the truck was not far off the market when I returned it. An extra $33 is ridiculous when I might have been of by 1/2 a gallon.

This was the third u-haul I went to that day. The other two were licensed u-haul places, but not actually u-haul. The experience from both of these places was horrible and I almost lost faith in u-haul all together until I called corporate and they switched my reservation for me. The location at 4703 Hazeltine Ave In Sherman Oaks was very unhelpful. It took me forever to find them because their address is actually under the 101 freeway, which maps don't seem to understand. By the time I did find them it was ten minutes after three and they closed at 3pm. They sat there drinking slurpees and told me there was nothing they could do to help me even though my reservation had already been done and paid for, they couldn't give me the keys because they were closed. So frustrating and they had no desire to help me. Please check up on this company. They should not be allowed to use your name.

Vehicle vibrates on the fwy and the steering wheel was set to 1:00 100,000 miles is to much for a uhaul truck but there is value in quick service

When I returned the truck your very rude young man greeted me with "you entered the wrong entrance and you need to back out and renter ". I told him that I have a bad arm and cannot do that. He told me I had to. I said please give me a helping hand. I'm 73 years old can't you help me please. He needs some serious lessons in customer service. I just walked away because I couldn't back up that big truck and he clearly wasn't going to help

The truck mirror was falling off and not safe to drive! When I called to complain they told me to drive to the nearest uhaul to get it fixed. We had no time for that in our busy day of moving and had to get the truck back before closing. When we got back and complained they were nonchalant about it and didn't show good customer service! I definitely won't be returning! Terrible! Too bad!

The entire experience was ridiculous. I tried to make a reservation online. Not only does u-haul have no idea what inventory they have at each location, their online systems do not allow customers to choose the same location to pick up and drop off the rental nor does it reflect the fact that the location at which to pick up the rental does not have the rents you selected and paid for. I had to speak to five different customer service people and they kept connecting me to regional centers in different states. One I got to the store (the third one I drove to) that had my rental, I found out that I could only rent it for four hours. What a mess.

I never had reservations with that location and went to the Sherman oaks location where I had reservations and confirmation and proof, but was told there was no truck and did not have my reservation. Well I read if your company fails to have the truck I ordered and confirmed there would be a 50.00 refunded to me. Not only did I have to drive far to pick up the truck they wouldnt give me the size I needed only if I brought it back at 3:00pm that day. So I had to do double trips because they let us have a van till the next day which was not right for the same price and double mileage and more work. A horrible move for me and experience with your service. Then they offered at no charge for a dolly a big $7.00 off! Guess what they never even did that!! The part that really pissed me off that the women tore up my original proof of confirmation and the correct address that was made by me online. She tore it up with out asking me. You tell me if you would rent from a company like that? The original location couldn't understand why that happened and told me I will get 50.00 that is your policy as stated online. And the truck was filthy bad!

The woman who was working the counter was impressive. She was by herself juggling three separate types of transactions as well as a line full of people and doing it like a pro. She had a great attitude and was very professional and thorough and I appreciated her ability to get me in and out and stay positive and upbeat. A true asset

Well, I rented a 2016 GMC savana and I drove only 17 miles. based on the milage and the gas I got in the truck according to manufacture, full tank takes 31 gallons, I wasted only 1/8 of a tank and I was charged two gallons, manufacture said the vehicle supposed to give 11/17 MPG, this doesn't make sense, they were suppose to charge me just for one gallon

Getting in/out was quick, the van I rented was pretty new and clean and nice. The problem was they said I drove 921 MILES instead of the 21 I actually drove and proceeded to bill me for 10x THE AMOUNT it should have been! (I dropped off after hours - 2.5 hours of use). After receiving email bill and seeing bank statement and MANY calls to them / customer service and my bank, they corrected and sent the new invoice. Instead of returning the difference to my account they re-billed the correct amount ON TOP of the already missing money which won't go back to my account for 48 hrs to 7 days! READ YOUR: mileage and your bill total! They need to do me some righteous customer service make up.

The staff at this location were very friendly and professional. The equipment was clean and well maintained. It was difficult contacting this location, because when I called the number for the Van Nuys location I was automatically transferred to the national call center and there was not a way to speak to someone at the local store.
