The trailer looked good and clean, however the sill along the top was cracked which we did not notice when we picked it up. That allowed water to get into the trailer during an extremely heavy rainstorm which ruined a television and soaked a mattress. We took the added insurance and when we went to file a claim, was told it was not covered for as the contents is not covered by the insurance, only the trailer. That is not how I understood the insurance, and when I called the store in Tuscaloosa was busy and it went to a central location and Michael took a message and send it to Ryan and I never received a call back. Very disappointed.

It is vital for UHAUL to accommodate customers with their pick up and drop off locations. I had requested another location closest to me for pick up but had to go to the Skyland location. They were very professional and timely.

There is NO jack to raise or lower the tongue of the trailer. It is extremely heavy!!! The trailer pulls very well.

I booked online and requested a utility dolly, which the location didn't actually have. It didn't end up being a big deal, but I wish the U-Haul website could be more transparent about what is truly in stock. Again, that's more of a gripe about U-Haul's internet presence, not this location.

Was told it would be cheaper to drop off my rental at another location, but that I could not because I did not make a one way reservation. I was never given the option to make such a reservation on U-Haul's website. I felt that every customer service representative I spoke to about this problem was unwilling to provide assistance and only gave me the runaround. I will never again use U-Haul because of how poorly I was treated. I will recommend to all friends and family that they do the same.

The chain for the gate didn't want to come loose and the thing to hold the trailer on the ball stuck. I also had to wait for a while for the guys to come out to unhook it because they were on their cell phones

They were excellent! Needed an auto trailer on short notice to go get daughter that was broke down in another state. They had everything ready by the time my husband got to the store. It made a difficult situation much better. Thanks Uhaul. CG

Truck was not ready when I ordered it. It was also at a different location from where I had originally requested to pick up further from my home. I was also charged a fee for keeping it an extra day; however, I only kept it the number of days I was told I could by Uhaul representative. Frustrating and disappointing.

I went to pick up my truck and there was not one available. Then one was returned while I was there and I was able to rent it. When i did a walk through with your salesman he pointed out there was a dolly and a bag of blankets if needed but they would cost 5 dollars a piece. I said I will not need those and he said they are there if you do. I thought to my self how would he even know if someone used them but it didn't matter to me because what I was moving I did not need them. When I returned the truck a different salesman walked around it with his phone then asked if I would like my receipt by email. I said that's fine and he told me I could go. When I got home and printed my email it showed that I was charged 5 dollars for blankets and 5 for dolly. I called back and they sent me to customer service. She asked why I broke the tabs. I said I didn't but I did not see any tabs on them. I hope this gets resolved if I used them it would be well worth 10 dollars to me.
