I had made my reservation for a day and said I would have the truck back a little after 1 pm. Instead of putting that in my contract I was told not to worry about it and I would not be charged extra. The original 171 I was charged ended up being 258 and I was unable to pay my first month of rent which defeated the entire purpose of me even getting a uhaul for my first time. Because my credit card was charged without notifying me this would happen I absolutely will not be using uhaul ever again. For that much money i could have made a car payment and done it myself.

I returned the truck with the dolly, refueled and at the time I was suppose to and only used in town. U-haul is now saying I didn't return the dolly, didn't refuel and over mileage. I am very disappointed in the way U-haul conducts business. Essentially U-haul is lying in the regards to my return of the truck and trying to get money where it is not due.

Let people know that your 15 foot vans don’t have a ramp. Had I known that I would have reserved a larger one. The move was very difficult as we had to lift some very heavy pieces into the truck.

Late night drop-off U-Haul app was not easy to navigate and when I went to submit , it would not load and then kicked everything out for me to have to start over which did not make me happy . I made a phone call to the 1-800 number and dropped the key in the box.

The representatives in the store should say something when customers walk in”welcome to uhaul” for example instead of starring looking (not so much when I picked up but dropped off)Also the merchandise lined up in front of the registers blocks the representatives , so when you walk in it’s hard to see them and who is open .

Customer Service was great. The help there cleaned the trailer before handing it over to me, as the previous renter had left it dirty. Very friendly, helpful staff. The trailer itself seemed to drag excessively. It dragged my mileage down from 20+ average to 10.0 mpg over 600 miles. It was the same empty or loaded. My previous experience with 6'x12' trailers has been that I get around 15-16 mpg when pulling. I checked bearings and brakes for heat several times & they were always cool. Not sure what was different about this unit?

Give the customer a receipt and communicate any charges that they wouldn’t know of. Also have an attendant at the check in lane when returning the equipment. Don’t have the customer wait, get frustrated and have to come find an employee to help them check in.
