I have been contacted three days after I returned the van I rented to say it was damaged! I rented this van on 8/12/2018 and returned it on 8/13/2018. Today 8/15/2018 I received a phone call from the manager and an email accusing me of damaging the van! The van was checked upon its return and I was billed accordingly. I have no idea about what this is about!! . I have rented haul in the last month from different locations and have a perfect record. My credit is excellent and I am a law abiding citizen. I was told I made a phone call to road side assistance which I did not make. I have no idea what is going on and I wish to please address this problem as there surely is some mistake. This was before store hours pick up. They had not left a vehicle or key out the night before and the 24 hour number was unanswered. Left a message and within minutes, Hal, the manager(?) drove in and got us on our way in just minutes. This is the second time Hal has helped us out. That guy can't be beat!

There was a bit of an issue with the A/C in the truck cutting out while driving, but worked at idle and while stopping, hard for employees to know it is broken until someone tells them like I did so I can't fault them for that. The staff was very helpful and friendly at this location and it was a pleasure renting from them.

When I reserved a truck online, I requested a furniture dolly and furniture pads. When I checked the truck out, the employee confirmed that I still wanted those and then charged me for them. However, when I got home and checked the back of the truck, they were not there. I immediately called the location, and they said they would put a note on my account to reimburse me when I dropped the truck back off. When I dropped the truck off, I told the employee that I should have a note on my account. He then gave me the total amount that I owed, and he told me that was without the furniture dolly or furniture pads. However, when I checked my email receipt after leaving the store, I saw that I was only reimbursed $20 out of $36. I immediately called U Haul and was on hold for 10 minutes before I reached anybody. I was then quickly transferred and had to wait another 20 minutes for the second person to help me. I find it unacceptable that I had to be on the phone for over 30 minutes over a problem that should have been fixed multiple times over at that point. This location not only did not give me the equipment I requested but also did not fix the problem when I came back to drop off the truck. If they had fully reimbursed me at that time, I would have been perfectly happy. But considering I had to go out of my way a second time to fix the problem they created and spend over 30 minutes on the phone, I am very unhappy with U Haul.

The only comment I have is regarding pricing. The price I was quoted with 10 miles was $41.95 with taxes. I used 9 miles and returned with the correct gas amount but my final receipt was $42.27. The women who did my return could not figure out why when I asked. It’s only a $1 or less but it’s still a little frustrating.

Upon return of the vehicle to the parking lot and key to the drop box, my rental was not checked in the following morning. I had to call to confirm that this was an error in the system. I was told I would receive a phone call from the manager of the location the same day I called. That did not happen. I would not recommend this location to anyone because of their lack of professional and inability to follow through.

Not given the vehicle requested. After hours turn in not explained. No signs directing to the drop box. Had to search in the dark to find. After hours return area is dark. Did not see sign to not drop keys in until finished until after keys already inserted - sign is in a stupid location where arm holding lid open blocks view.
