I booked pick up from a location got confirmation and when I came to pick up the lady told me the trailer hasn’t come back I had to drive 50K to another location because of the delay I had to cancel the movers so I lost the money so it total this poor experience cost me over 100$ for gas and canceling the movers

They were a lot more helpful at the end of my drop off. They were unable to credit me for my purchase for equipment that I didn’t use. I wish I had went through a corporate store instead of online. I had to travel all the way to Keswick, on which is an hour away from my moving location and 2 hours away from my new home.



Friendly knowledgeable staff. A better description of how to get in and out of the lot might be helpful but all in all a positive experience. Would definitely recommend. Don

I return minutes to 7pm on good friday to drop off the rental cargo van. The door was closed the 2 females were inside one attending to someone and one appears to be doing nothing after a fer minutes and pulling on the door she came out a few of us was there waiting, i felt totally ignored and unappreciated as a customer.

I would recommend the location to a friend because of the friendly staff, however the location does not have onsite parking while you are out with the truck. I will still use the location if it is necessary.

The rented car was not safe to drive



Please have a chat with the people working there, it is consistently horrible attitude every single time me or a friend have rented a van/truck there. I had to get on the phone to ask questions, because the guys/gals working there just didn't make me feel comfortable to ask questions, they all carry a very cold and shitty attitude and that's just really really bad for business.



The gentlemen I dealt with were humorous, detail oriented, personable, and made sure everything was right for us. The only thing I think they suffer from is the location is at an awkward corner, but all in all these guys should be proud of what they did for us.



The pickup was not clean and self retun was was impossible because I don't have a cell phone with internet

Waiting time to be served was extremely long.



There is no parking in this UHaul and the lady that gave me my reservation told me "You cant park there" I moved and she said even there." Instead of giving me head ache just tell me where to park.



Customer service was straight forward and quick but a little more positive energy would've been nice.

I am a very disappointed customer and this was the first and last time I will deal again with this company called U-Haul. I never have a problem with either Discount or Budget. Those two companies are the BEST. This is my history: I called U-Haul Weston Rd. phone number 416-746-0020 this morning Sunday March 11, 2018 at 09:15 AM Eastern Time to rent a 9' Cargo van. The lady over the phone confirmed that I can have the Cargo van for $99 plus $1 Environment fee and $0.20 for additional KM since I was planning to drive approximately 200 KM. Of course, I accepted the deal and when I was about to pick up the truck it was a totally different amount that I was asked to pay ~ almost $150. I really did not understand why the amount has increased and I simply asked for an explanation. The lady, U-Haul employee at Weston Road was very rude to me and she gave me a vague answer at first. I was not satisfied by the answer she provided and I asked her more explanations. She then asked me to look at the rates on their wall. I am sorry this is not an answer, I told her to please double check again since I got the confirmation from the lady over the phone. She said the person I spoke with did not save the price/rate in the system and she cannot give me that rate. Her colleague seating beside her said they (their colleagues in USA) always missed things up and this is not their problem. I was very shocked by that additional information and what I responded to her was "may be this is their problem but their problem could have a big impact (negative impact I meant) on your job and I added if you guys have 100 customers like me complaining its going to be a mess and without customers you will NOT keep your job." The U-Haul employee wasn't professional at all and probably she thought that I was lying when I said that the given rate was $99. As a customer, I have the right to know why there is such a discrepancy in a price and I was just looking for an explanation, nothing more nothing less. Apparently, You are aware of this issue but you are just blaming your colleagues instead of taking actions to resolve the issue. ATTN to the management staff: Please give a proper training to your staff (CSR and on floor staff) as the U-Haul employee was very rude to me and DON'T forget this: IF YOU DON'T WORK AS A GROUP OR TEAM PEOPLE WILL ALWAYS COMPLAIN.



The truck interior was very clean but the outside was dirty. Didn't bother me at all. Service was super fast, didn't reserve anything and the truck was available. when I return the truck i didn't wait 5 minutes for someone to attend. With his cell phone he completed my payment and sent me an email. Saved me time from going inside the store.



Cannot leave any vehicle nor park any car on property upon pick-up of rental. Biggest weakness to location.

Don’t charge extra fee when you’re closed as there won’t be anyone else to rent it to. I was charged double for holding the vehicle passed closing hours and did a self return. Why if I know you’re not renting it as you’re closed .

Check-out process for after hour is cumbersome and confusing. Before all that was needed is to drop off the key. Now customers are burdened with the task of providing photo evidence of equipment being cleaned/ milage/ gas and also providing location to prove that they are at the correct location. Customers are paying to use your service because of the convenience, not sure where the convenience is when having to spend an extra 10 minutes in the dark unnecessarily trying to prove we are decent people.
