Overall the Cargo Van was nice other than a TPMS warning light about the driver's side rear tire pressure what was inflated to 75 PSI which was 20 to 25 PSI higher than the other 3 tires. The U-Haul app kept wiping out the pictures I had taken if I clicked on one of the links to look at an example so I had to restart the process when I picked up the truck and when I returned it.

I made a reservation that included a dolly in the truck rental. I called three times prior to the pickup date to confirm the reservation, and each time I was assured that everything was ready. However, upon arriving to pick up the truck, the dolly was missing. I attempted to resolve the issue by calling multiple numbers, only to be transferred several times without receiving any assistance. Unfortunately, no resolution was provided, which significantly delayed my moving process. Without the dolly, I was forced to spend an additional $320 for two extra hours of labor—an expense that could have been avoided if the equipment had been available as promised. The inability to transport boxes efficiently in one trip added unnecessary time and cost to the move. Furthermore, the service location was completely unmanned. The doorbell appeared to be nonfunctional, and the listed local phone number was a Google Voice line that directed calls to voicemail. Despite leaving messages, no one returned my calls. The truck itself was in poor condition. It did not feel safe to drive on the highway—there was a noticeable lag in the steering, resulting in poor handling. In addition, both the cab and the cargo area were dirty. I had to clean it myself using a blower and a broom just to make it usable. Overall, the experience was extremely disorganized and unprofessional. I intend to file a formal claim with my credit card company due to the inconvenience and added costs. And a Google review as well.

Elise HThe equipment I requested (utility dolly and furniture dolly) were not in the truck. The location was closed so I could not get the dollys. This was not the location that I made a reservation at and I was called the day prior to my move and told that the original location no longer had trucks. I know that location is open on Saturdays and would have been able to provide me the dolly’s. As you can imagine, not having dolly’s made our move extremely difficult and I would not have rented from U-Haul without dolly’s. On top of that, I disputed the dolly charges, and was STILL charged for them. Absolute garbage.
